Stephjim - congrats on the iui, fingers crossed that this is the one and you won't need to move on to ivf.

Becky - so glad the jobs improving. You sound so much happier than Monday. Will hold back on the AF dance til Feb for you.

Well I had my scan this morning and there really is a baby in there woohoo! It's just like nims - 2 arms, 2 legs and 1 head

I decided not to have the nuchal screen but she did say at the end that she could see no problems and everything looked fine so that was reassuring.
They changed my dates a little too -
I think I'm 12w1d, due 5th Aug
the midwife says 12w4d, due 2nd Aug
and the sonographer says 12w4d, due 4th Aug
How do they figure that out?

Oh, well, it'll arrive when its ready anyway

I didn't drink the 1.5litres they said, only had about half that and was worried it wouldn't be enough. She started the scan then said my bladder was too full so she couldn't get a good picture. I had to go and HALF empty it! Anyone ever tried that? When you're that full how the hell do you a) stop once you've started and b) decide what is HALF empty? Such fun!
I did manage to play the sytem a bit - kept my staff badge on and got the piccies for free (all 5 of them!) They normally charge £2.50 each and only print 1 or 2. There's not many perks working for the NHS, you have to take advantage when you can

Mia, I think we should wear something else. I'm a little bloated. So about that job... what's meant to be is meant to be. Right? Enjoy the relaxing time that you have. Things are going to change quickly when you are preggers.

chriss -- thanks for your good luck wishes for tomorrow!! appreciate it - i really do.....oddly enough, i have this very strange "calmness" about me... (give it 5 minutes and that could change!!!

) but today i've just really been feeling like "whatever is meant to be, will be" --- NOW, deal me a bfn and that little nicey-nice attitude will be gone in a hot second!!!

Well ladies....as i said to chriss, today is very strange in that i'm feeling very calm...........NOW, tomorrow at this time while i'm waiting for yet another round of my damn blood tests may be a different story!!! So tonight me and dh are going to hypnotist that is coming to town for "quit smoking" (dh) and "lose weight" -- both of us.....were supposed to go last week, but got dates mixed up -- woops!!! so that should be interesting!!!

Su glad the scan went well i know how you feel about the water i had to go out 2 times to empty some water its hard work isnt but its all worth while are you going to post a pic of your baby .

Jen good luck in big b hope this is your time has you have been so patient in waiting .

Hi to everyone i missed theres so much going on its hard to keep up

Well had a letter from work today to say that i can take my mat from sun but on hols for these 2 weeks going on mat from 4 th feb not much else just having the weiredst of things going on went to asda this afternoon and went down the washing powder asle and had to stop and smell the powder people must think look at that crazy ***** lol. I have started to do a face book page but have not put a pic on there yet

ICSI, guess we were posting at the same time. So yup, got the call. Tonight I try something new. i am using the follistim pen for the first time. Other cycles I used Bravelle and had to mix powders. This time it is pre mixed and it's in a pen. Something new. Also... get this... the pharmacy is going to deliver the meds to my house tonight. Did ya ever hear of that??? I'm glad that I don't have to make the hour and 1/2 trip after work today. So glad that you feel calm! That is awesome. Good sign my dear.

thanks for good wishes. What does take my mat from sun mean? I'm still a little new here. I know about going down THAT isle in the supermarket!!! Sometimes I buy baby shampoo for MYSELF!!! Sad huh? -chriss

chriss --- for both of my cycles, all of my meds were delivered to my door!! was awesome....pretty convenient eh??? so are you historically a "good follie" producer??? cuz i guess i'd say that i'm not so much.... round 1, got 5 -- round 2, got 7......and round 2 he upped all my follie growth meds.....i've not done the follitism pen thing, but have done gonal-f and it is EASY-PEASY!!!! and then after transfer, are you doing any kind of blood thinner??? i'm still on daily lovenox injections.....oh and baby aspirin 2x/day.....

rachel ---- sniffing laundry detergent???!!!! gotta say i'd be thinkin' "crazy *****" if i saw something like that!!! ha, ha, ha, am still getting a good laugh!!!

Su - thats great news on your scan - although i'm confused on your dates too.....if you're 12wks 4d which sounds right as you got your BFP before me then you must be due around 2nd Aug - right?? How cool that we are our little ones days apart!

Oh, and I've just updated the list with my new due date and next scan date - see this time round you're having yours first!!

Chriss - good luck with starting stimming tonight - its getting exciting as everyone starts their tmt.

ICSI - one cuppa of coffee won't hurt - sometimes it worse to go cold turkey than cut down - i'll dig out what they say about how much is the recommended dose of caffine you should have a day.
So you're getting the next set of beta levels tomorrow - fingers crossed babe - it will be fine.

Steph - you tell them girl where to stick their extra hours - boy i hate it when employers take the piss!! Any sign of the witch yet ??

Stephjim - whoahey congratulations momma - roll on 7th Feb - waiting to see another BFP!!

Rachel - thats good news about the mat - means more time afterwards. uUUmm think your hubby needs to watch you a little more carefully!!

Well, I haven't called the school where I applied b/c I had lunch with a lady I do consulting for. She runs a tutoring/consulting business and she asked me to take over the business

She is retiring, wants to sell and would be willing to help me out

YIKES!! So of course I have not decided, I know she lives a very cushy life but need to check how much $$ she is really making a year. I am still pretty shocked, sooo I decided not to push the scholl while I figure out if this is a route I want to go down...I mean if I don't ever have kids I don't mind working a lot. But if I have kids, I don't know if I want to run my own business! Owell, I am gonna do some research and then meet with her next week.

My anniversary will fall on my 2ww

No sex, plus lots of stress (no fair!) I am sure I will POAS that day to see if anything shows up.

Ok girls, on to do some research. Have a fab day.

Hi gals, it's me with another question... what else is new? Ok, so the pharmacy peoples are going to deliver my meds to my house, I'm still surprised about that whole deal. ANyway, my question is... do I tip the delivery person? Is it like a pizza delivery??? DOn't laugh at me. I need to know. ANd... if so... how much. ANd while we are on the subject of tipping, how much do you guyz tip for a haircut? Highlights? Etc??? FIll me in asap before the drug dealer gets here. Thanx! Chriss: Mine are mailed to me, so no tip for my mail man. I tip my hairdresser over 20%! If it is 80$ I give him a hundred.
