It was this exact same time last year that I POAS (three times) and got a faint positive then the blood test the next day where the nurse called and said "You are pregnant! And the numbers are really high which may mean twins!" CRAZY isnt it!? And now I have two little blessings running around...well...sitting around.

This is the same as my blog, word for word so if you read that then it is the same ol same ol!

Well we went to Shands to see a specialist about their reflux. He asked a TON of questions about family history and such and did a short exam on them (felt their tummy, looked for blood in the stool, eyes, ears, etc). Of course, did not find anything out of the ordinary. So he states, well they have reflux. I felt like saying "DUH, I KNEW THAT" but I restrained myself. So he stated we could change their formula from the Nutramigen to something more broken down that you need to buy at a pharmacy (do not remember the names at the moment). I mean they spit up on the Nutramigen but they are ok. No more stomach aches or anything like that. Plus we started solids so soon they will be eating more solids and less milk. So I do not think we will try a new formula. It would make it even harder to switch to cows milk come a year old.

He said that 85% of kids outgrow it by the time they are one and the other by the time they are two. It is rare if they have it for longer. I will admit it has slowly gotten better so I do not think it will take them longer than two years. But once they are sitting up more and not lying down as much it should get a lot better. So hopefully it is over soon. He did want a check up in 4 months. Mind you we had to drive 2 hours to Gainesville...he states "lets meet in the Tallahassee office." Um excuse me!? I did not have to drive two hours?! He said they do not like meeting new patients in Tally and that they are only there once a month but still. Can they not give an exception for twins?!

In other news...the weights and heights according to Shands scale:
Mackenzie weighed in at a whopping 15lbs 4 oz and 27 1/4 inches tall!
Brooke weighed in at 15 lbs 6 oz and 25 3/4 inches tall!

Mackenzie has really caught up! She is eating more than Brooke now and not spitting up as much as her sister either. It was a nice weeked over all though since I got to see my mom again. She is a big help with washing bottles, laundry, dusting, etc. It reminds me of how much I wish we could afford a maid! :D :D

drum roll please....BROOKE ROLLED OVER! Tummy to back! 4 times in a row! WOOHOO!!!

And I had my mom look at our baby books (my sister and mine) and it is funny in a sense. When I was 6 months I was 27 inches and 16 lbs...Kenzie is 27 inches and 15 lbs....My sister was 25 inches at 5 1/2 months (she did not have 6 written down) and 13 lbs...Brooke is 25 1/2 inches and 15 1/2 lbs. Did I really have preemies?!?! I thought they were not supposed to catch up till 2. I just have chunkers I think :D

They are trying to do 2 naps a day. I am hoping that if they do this then they will sleep longer at night? They have almost drooped their early evening nap completely. Makes them cranky during dinner tho.

hey suga thats great about the rolling katie has only managed to go from her belly to her back and i think that was by accident and your girls measurements sound great your obviously doing a great job to have them caught up already good on you girl

I have Katies Pedi appointment on thursday to see if i can get answers to her feeding problem she lost weight again last week and expect her to also this week i just can't work her out anyway hopefully we get some answers on thursday and he doesn't just send me away because she looks happy enough.

Had a great mess from my boy the other day since we've started toilet training he's become very interested in seeing his poo weird i know anyway he came out of his room calling mum mum and when i looked at him his hands were brown covered with you know what but what was really gross was when i went into his room i saw that he had smeard his business all over the side of his bed and not just a couple of time ( I nearly saw my lunch again at this point) hopefully this was a first and last. See what you girls have to look forward to the joys of mummyhood

Hope everyone is well catch up soon

Jomae- Oh goodness! I couldn't help but laugh, but man, that sounds gross! I have a weak stomach when it comes to that, so hopefully Ella will be a bit more lady like when it comes to the toilet training. I can only imagine what it will be like! Sorry to hear your little one is losing weight, hopefully they will get it all figured out.

Suga- Wow, they really have caught up! I am so curious to see what ella will measure at in a couple of weeks at her 6 month. Even though they still have the reflux, I am glad to hear they are getting better with it. I am sure the more they sit up, it will start to go away. Yay for rolling over. Ella is a pro now. She rolled from back to tummy at about 3 months, and now she can go the other way too, that started about a month ago.

Ella is doing well. She eats alot and is really starting to outgrow clothes. She is still small for her age, but really getting big. Her legs are so strong, I think she may skip crawling all together and go straight to walking. My mom says I did that, and my grandmother says my mom skipped crawling too, so maybe the girls in this family just don;t like to crawl. I bought her easter dress yesterday and a dress for my brothers wedding in July. I also found out today that she will be a flower girl at my stepsisters wedding next May. The dresses are so cute. I think I might take her for professionsal pic sin them. We haven';t done pro pics yet b/c we take hundreds of digitals, but I think I want to go.

I am also thinking about signing ella up for swim lessons at my citys high school pool. They need to be six months old and it starts in March. I love to swim, so I am hoping she will too. I have also been taking her to a bunch of children's museums in the area, and she seems to really enjoy getting out.

Did you guys do anything fun with the little one's for valentines day? Of course I dressed her up in hearts, I wrote a card for her for her baby box, and I got her a many kisses Elmo. He is cute, when you put his hand to his mouth he makes smooching noises, she laughs at him.

Ok, I gotta go start some schoolwork while she's napping. Talk to you all soon!

hi all-

jomae- oh soooo gross and hilarious!- guess its just what they do
Pulman goes for 2nd swim class today - he is very calm in the water -but has the saddest look when he comes up after dunking his head under - i am sure Ella will love it -
from the pix- it looks like Rio's bean is a natural in the H2O!

need to post a few more pix myself!

suga- congrats on the flipping! once the 2 of them start to move- you're in trouble!!!

as far as Pulman goes- we've been having a nice time with him- he's a good baby, and enjoys playing and chatting and books- so far. next week is his 4month appt- more shots and weighing- hoping for good news

went up to my folks place this weekend and had dinner out- our waiter said he had a 7week old at home, and he weighed about 20lbs!!!!!!!! and was eating 5oz every 1.5hours- holy crap!!!!!!!!!!! said his wife couldn't keep up with the b-feeding (yeah- no kidding) I cannot imagine.. at almost 4 mos- Pulman might be tipping the scales at 11lbs if we're lucky!!!

Tammy Weezie- you guys ok???

more later

hey everyone,

I just posted a new youtube video of ella I thought you all might like to see. It is of her eating her oatmeal, she is soi funny when she chews and she makes these weird noises when she chews. I sit there and laugh the whole time I feed her!

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheGuglielmos

loopie- sounds like pulman is doing great! I can't believe that 7 week old. Ella is almost six months and my guess is no more than 16 lbs for her upcoming weigh in. Hey, I am a question for you, I notice on your ticker that pulman's middle name is percival, how did you pick it? I like it, very unique.

I hope all the other mommies are doing well. You can tell the babies are getting more active, our thread has slowed a bit. Post when you can everyone, I am going to see if any of you posted new pics and maybe post a couple myself.

Michele: Yeah, I wish my girls ate that well! They are still all over the place! They eat but are not that great of eaters. I can not wait until they get it down more. They hate oatmeal/rice so I do not even try any more. They just will not eat it whatsoever. I love the noises though!

Hi girls... I haven't posted in... well... months.

Thanks, Loopie for coming to find me:)

The triplets are well. It was rough for the first three months or so that they were home, but things have settled down a bit (as much as I expect they ever will!). They are healthy and growing like weeds! It will take me some time but I will read back through some postings to see what you all have been up to.

Hope you are all well,
Sassy

Sassy! SO GREAT to hear from you! Glad to hear all is well. I can not imagine triplets. Gosh. Do you ever sleep!? Yes, please get us some pictures! I am sure they are adorable!

Well the insurance came through! We no longer have $8000 over our heads! The girls are paid fully! haha. And I found out we do not have to pay $400 in storage till Jan 2010! Great news!

Other than that, the girls have their 6 month shots tomorrow. They are almost 7 months old! *sigh* Where does time go! We are working on sitting up on their own and Brooke wants to move so bad! Kenzie just sticks everything in her mouth! I think she is starting to teeth or they are at least developing because she is in pain in her mouth and only wants to suck on my finger.

Mackenzie: Weight 15 lbs 11 oz! (25%) Height 25 inches (remember Shands said she was 27? Yeah I dunno) (50%) and Head 41" (10%)

Brooke: Weight 16 lbs! (50%) Height 25 inches (50%) and Head 40" (not on the chart yet)

Ok so I do not know why their percentages are so different when they are so close together in measurements? Does not make sense to me! They were so tired (it was during their nap time) they hardly cried and went right to sleep afterwards. I should always make shots at their nap time!

Congrats on Parker's progress! how did the immunizations go?
I'm not going to worry too much about the percentile stuff- as I assume Pulman will be on the very low end of things for some time- but hey- someone has to be!!! he was in the 5th%ile for weight last time I checked on line

what kind of veggies is Parker getting? does he like them?

Nice work with the girls, suga!

Sassy- so glad you stopped in - I can imagine 3 little beans (what are their names again??) are several handfuls -but the universe gives us what we can handle, and I'm sure you and yours are doing wonderfully - have you been able to sleep? are they on similar schedules? do you have help?

got to run-
hope everyone is wonderful!!! and i can't wait til spring!
