Hi All -
Good to see so many updates from everyone. It is so fun to hear what everyone is doing and how the little ones are getting along.
"We" are still content to crawl everywhere. Hendricks has no interest in walking at all. This doesn't concern me at all, but it is getting a little tiresome carrying him all the time. He is somwhere between 25-27 pounds... no wonder my biceps are bulging.
Kristi - good for you on joining the gym. I did that back in August and it has really been a good "getaway" for me. I do take Hendricks with me sometimes, but since I go after work, it falls right during his cranky time so he doesn't have a lot of fun. I also feel guilty going some days, because I don't see him all day while I'm at work, then I get home and spend a few minutes with him before heading to the gym. When we/I get home, there is usually just a hour before going to bed for him. But, I have dropped 6 pounds and am finally back to "pre-fertility-treatment" weight. I am finally ready to wear that bikini in Mexico in a few weeks.
It is interesting to me to see how different everyone's sleep/nap routines are. We are for the most part still doing 2 naps a day, but they are getting shorter and shorter. Hendricks has a HORRIBLE chest cold right now, and for the last week has been waking every 1-2 hours at night and needing mommy to settle him back to sleep. I feel like I have a newborn again with all the waking and both of us falling asleep together in the chair in his room.
As for eating, Hendricks eats just about everything we give him... depending on his mood. Somedays he loves certain foods, and other days he spits it out. He'll eat any fruit or veggie we give him, loves peanut butter on whole wheat, pancakes w/ applesauce, seafood lasagne, tofu burgers, cottage cheese, yogurt... pretty much anything. We do have to watch what we give him though cuz if we give him fruit to start, he won't eat anything else. He is very visual too, if he doesn't like how it looks, he won't eat it and just shoves the spoon away. So, I end up holding down his arms and sort of forcing the food in. As soon as he tastes it, then he will eat more.
Can you believe that our kids' 2nd Christmas is just around the corner? My how time flies!!
