JesJes - Good luck with your ET. Wishing you all the best.

Chelly - Good luck to you too - hope those follies are growing all good and healthy.

Steph - hang in there girl things will happen.

Dri-Jim - Good luck tomorrow to you too - hope all goes well.

Courtney - Wow, ER on wed/thursday sounds awesome. Keeping my fingers crossed for you - hope those follicles grow.

Jharris - hope your baseline went ok?

I'm doing pretty good - my bloating has gone down a little bit and I feel so much better. I still am eating like A LOT and my chest is sore and little cramps here and there..I hope that's a good sign but I guess I will find out on 27th when I do HPT.

so you girls please keep me in your prayers and thoughts :D :D

Hope everyone else that I have not included knows that I am thinking of you guys too and wishing things to work out.

Hello everyone, I hope tha tyou had a good weekend. I have a question to ask. I took a opk last night and it was positive, I mean the test line was way darker than the control line. Now, I got my lh surge last weekend on the 12th and the b/w shows that I ovulated and i had that b/w on the 16th of april. Anyway, I felt crampy and bloated all weekend and yesterday after the lupron shot i decided to take the opk and as I said before it was positive. I would be about 9dpo. my nurse said it could be hcg or my body shutting down from the lupron, but she said the lupron wouldn't turn the opk positive. she wants me to come in on the 28th if AF isn't here. I"m on lupron, so i doubt it that AF will arrive by then. I can't imagine being pregnant since my left tube is gone and my right tube is surgically blocked.

Hi everyone.. how are you all doing...

I am sorry to be away for a couple of days and as I was in a very bad condition...I had a u/s on saturday and my RE finally told that my IVF has to be cacelled because my body is not responding to the medicines.. I broke there itself and cudnt stop crying :(.. I was feeling very very shattered and broken.. I had to resign my job in Februray due to the problem in taking leaves from office.. I was really hopeful that it would work but unfortuntaly it didnt...

Well God willing I would be starting the next cycle after a couple of months. I have a follow up appointment with my RE tomottow and would discuss with him when can I start my next cycle...

I need to get into job now asap and since my husband cannot move from this place as of now I might have to move to Chicago alone ..

Is anyone taking up IVF in Chicago...I have never been there and dont know anything about the place.. Can anyone guide me which clinic do I need to refer and other details..

I wish everyone all the best and pray to God that he gives BFP to all of you.. you all are such nice and your support through this forum is a boost :)

JesJes: you may delete my name from the list as my dates no more exist :(
Though I would be out of the cycle but I would be in this forum as this is really great :)

Lots and Lots of baby dust to everyone :)

wantamiraclebaby, I think you should take a HPT. I believe that hcg can give a positive opk result. I have tube issues similar to yours and I managed to have an ectopic pregnancy anyway. Take care of yourself. Let us know how you're doing.

This thread is getting hard to keep up with. I love it!

courtney, so glad to hear the follies are growing and your getting close. I feel that nervous excitement when I read your post. Can't wait 'til it's my turn!

jharris, that for the house hunting wishes. I talked to a few people looking to rent their houses so I'm feeling a little more optimistic.

I'm currently taking lupron and prenatal vitamins. I start Follistim this Friday if all goes well. Let me know when you learn which stim you're taking. I'm not taking baby aspirin, but I'm going to ask RE about it. Seem like a lot do take it.

mjwilliams, congrats again! Stronger lines -- that's great! Can't wait to hear the beta.

Amber, I'm in Chicago. I'll write you a separate post to keep this one a reasonable length :)

Chelly, good luck tomorrow!

JesJes, good luck today!

Amber, I'm so sorry to hear about your cycle. Take time to cry. With time, things will feel better. Wish I could give you a hug.

Where in Chicago do you think you'll move? Suburbs or city?

There are A LOT of clinics in and around Chicago. Many have very good success rates. Honestly, the clinic I'm using does not have the best rates, but my insurance will cover cycles only at this clinic. Here's a link to a list of clinics with links to there success data.

If you have any specific questions about Chicago, I'd be happy to answer. I've lived here 10 years and I love it.

Amber~I am so sorry. The upside is, your RE or any future clinic you go to will have better knowledge about what protocal to use. Best of luck to you.

Yellow~Friday will be here before you know it! I took Follistim too, started at 275u and ended with 350u...but I was on a micro dose protocal so my dose could be much different than yours. Now, I just have to worry about quality...which is causing me to really lose some sleep! I look so cute right now...bags under the eyes and bloated!!!!!!  I am jealous you live in Chicago...I love the city. My best friend lives there and I love to visit...June-August!!! Happy house hunting!!

Jharris...the shot didn't hurt at all! I was glad b/c they did before, or it was probably b/c dh was giving them to me and his mom is a diabetic and he gives her shots so i didn't think it will be too hard. LOL

Amber - My heart goes out to you - I'm so truly sorry that this happened to you but then again things happen for a reason. Hopefully next cycle would be better and your follies will respond better. Your RE would know what protocol to use for best results!! Stay strong girl.

I'm shaking as I type this. I started My poas addiction 9dp3dt and I have taken about 20 tests (Literally) since Saturday. I bought some online and used a few first response. They all had really light BFP's. I mean so light I needed a book light to see the lines. This morning I did another First Response (at 2 AM) and I swear is was a BFN.
I cried all morning here at work. I have been so upset. Well at lunch time I ran to dollar general, figured what the heck, maybe one more test.
I held my bladder for two hours...and Voila. Instant BFP!!!

I can't believe it.

I am cautiously optimistic. oh, I am done testing. LOL
These tests are very stressful.
