Dear Jude and Adsgirl

Sorry to crash your thread but couldn't help smiling and feeling glad at the wonderful progress you both are making!!! It gives a kind of reassurance to me as well when I will be meeting my doc for the 10th week scan tomorrow.

Oh Jude!!! I also take this opportunity to congratulate you on having twins though I am sorry for the third baby. I will pray that everything goes just perfect from here.

Dakota - Hope your bleeding scare goes away soon. It is definitely most terrifying thing in the pregnancy but glad you are in the best hands. :)

Also wishing all the FEB CYCLERS a wonderful pregnancy ahead!!

Hugs to all!!!

Adsgirl-We are glad you're back, and of course we understand. I have had, and am still in the pass out phase, but some days it seems to be waning. So glad we get to hear all is progressing well with you too!

Angram-I'm sorry you're a bit on the non-constipated side. Is that about how it is for all of us? Its either one way or the other for our stools? You ladies are so lucky if this didn't change for you. My constipation waned, and is so much better since I finished PIO shots wk 10. Thank goodness! Diet pretty much remianed the same, and I also don't have as much of a craving for water all day like I had before.

On the belly=yes. We started a web album to family and friends that already has my 8 wk constipated and bloated belly, and 12 wk which really does start to show not only the inflated by a whole cup size boobs, but the REAL bump! Thank goodness for maternity pants! We had to get clothes too, and I'm lucky to get some hand me downs, and cheaper ones. We will continue to take my profile photo once per month and post. Most of our families live out of state, and this will be the only progress they get to see. Friends out of state also get to see, so everyone stays in the loop.

Anything you do to catch these moments will be great. My stomach is officially "pushing" out as my belly button is beginning to not be such an innie anymore which I noticed just this morning in the shower. I'm 13.5 wks, and wow does the bod change quickly! Grow baby, grow!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekends, and look forward to more updates this wk.

Jude-sorry I missed yours...that is so cool you are/were in paediatrics. Wow. I really have a lot of respect for that. I could not imagine being able to handle the emotions of seeing really sick kids. Since this hormonal thing hit me in my very early 30's to desire to have a family, I knew I was an emotional wreck around little tiny ones, and ones that were sick and needed help. Can't really watch any Discovery health or TLC channels without crying at that!

My so many new post. I love getting to work on Monday and reading all the great storys. First I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for all of your support with my SOB boss. He is a heartless man. I found out that as a City employee I do not get State Disablity I get the City stuff which is not a great. My boss is not making take full leave just intermiten leave. This means that two hours here three hours here for my appts. Now he can not force me but its either that and get paid for the time off or he can not pay me the hours I am not inthe office. Not only that I am what you call an at will employee so I do not get the City protection it is really very odd and confusing. But my DH and parents say go to work suck him dry and after this is all done I will find a new job. I have to say I make very good $$ and I dont a darn thing so I guess Ill be ok for now. I will however call that number Dakota gave just to check things out.

Ok on to the personals -
Neffi sorry to here about your dog. I know it is so hard as they are a part of your family and we love them like kids. I am sure she will be fine. Dogs are pretty strong.

Dakota thank you for the number Ill give them a call for sure. And pizza mmm sounds good.

Angram I hear you on the sex thing. I feel bad I know Dh is in need and he is a good sport I need to try harder. I think I will shave my legs tonight HAHAHAH I just have not been up for it.

Tara- YEAH no more shots
And to everyone that I missed HI and I am glad you are doing well. I have to say I am not as tired anymore and I too eat less or at least I am not dying when I get hungry I can now wait to make something. I feel fine though no real complaints exept for the butt pain (siatica???) Oh my it getts really bad if I sit to long not fun. OH pictures!!!! No I have not taken any of my belly I feel wierd as I am not big yet just more fat.

OH I can share that we went furniture shoping yesterday and found a very cute set. Just looking and getting ready as the stuff takes two months to delever.

OK I have to get back to work. Which yes I do hate. But I will live and I have you guys to help support. me!!!!

Sorry I have been MIA! Big change for me, I am usually on here every five mins

I've been very moody, anyone else? I went to the mall yesterday to get a pair of pants. There is NO maternity clothes anywhere in my mall. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! I walked into every store. Penny's, Sears, Macys' Belks, Gap & Old Navy. Not to mention no Motherhood either. I was in tears by the time I left the store. Feet hurt, back hurt, I was hungry & thisty. Very bad expirience :x
When I got home I said "screw looking for sales" and ordered a few pair of pants online at Motherhood and Ann Taylor. Afterwoods DH said "ok smart butt, what are you going to do in the meantime before they get here"....Oh Crap!!! (smart ass!!). So I went today to Motherhood by work and bought a pair of pants and ended up adding 5 clearance shirts to the mix, most of which were $5 and spent $55. All the shirts are fall/winter shirts too. I put that padded thing on my belly. OH MY!!! It was fun though :D

I wish I would have started with belly shots, but I didnt. I am thinking about starting up this weekend, or maybe next, right at 2nd tri. As many u/s pics I have I think it would have been fun to have a pic of my belly, then the u/s pic, each week since I was going every week. That would have been fun to look back on.

As far as sex. I am SO the oppisite. I wake up in the middle of the night with my doodad throbbing!!!! Its miserable because we cant do anything about it!!!! OB said that as long as everything looks good at my 12.5 week u/s and the polyp is the culprit of the bleeding then I will be released for sex and the big O. Although I have O dreams at least once a week, but they are followed by some intense cramps for about 60 secs after. DH said he thinks we should just go ahead and "fool around" since I have O's in my dreams, he thinks it would be ok otherwise. I still want to follow Dr's orders, but I am sure it would be ok.

So I have been real weird about my eating. Most people want and need bland things to help ease their stomach. I want lots of flavor and spice and it helps my stomach. If I eat cheerios for breakfast I feel ill, if I eat junk cereal I feel great. Well the other day I had a HUGE urge for sloppy joes. Gosh I havent had sloppy joes since I was like 10. So I went and got everything and man o man, it was fab!!!! Yum!!!!

Angram So glad you got to see p-nut in action. Its so much fun and emtionally gratifying, its great!!!

Tara Yeah!! No more shots. I bet your ass loves you  I am down to 1 suppie a day then by Sat I am done. Whoohoo!!

Adsgirl It was so good to hear from you. I was starting to worry about you. I knwo what you mean about little gummy bear. I have about 20 u/s pics and my favorite one that we have hanging on the fridge is the one where he looks like a little gummy bear and you can see his fat belly and little arms & legs. LOVE IT!!!

Jude I am glad you got a sneak peek at the little one. Good for you!

Genn I've been internet shopping on furniture just to get an idea as well. There are so many to choose from. I have this kick right now where I love black furniture, but I've had my bedding set picked out for years now and it wouldnt quite go with black. So, choices, lots of choices.

ftg how exciting that your belly really popped out. I've heard you wake up and say "where did that come from, it wasnt there last night". I cant wait for that!!!! I cant find into my pants now, my belly is pretty big but its pretty much all swollen pushed up intestines.

Neffi How are the pooches hold up?

Hope all is well with everyone else. I seem to have written a book here!!!
Off to suck down a gallon of milk (actually just pump it into my ass!!!)

Hi All

I am back! Great to read all of your stories and updates!

It has taken a while for me to write as we had some pretty bad news. One of the babies stopped growing around 9 weeks and we found out at our scan last Wed. It was a weird situation as we were sad at what might have been but at the same time we were so excited to see the baby waving at us! It has taken me several days but i am quite philosophical about it all. I was told that the Sac will probably just stay where it is until delivery and "hopefully" it won't cause any problems for the live baby. Anyone know anything about this?

Neff: How is your dog doing?
Sex? What's that?
Tests: We have decided to have the Nuchal scan on Thursday. We have everything crossed that all will be OK.
MS: I have lost 9 pounds since getting pregnant - due entirely to me regurgitating everything I eat! i was at the doc again today and he wont give me drugs as he says the MS will be gone in a week! (?). I hope so or I might feel compelled to demonstrate how bad it is!!!!!!

Hope you are all well and growing gorgeous round bumps!

cwrj-I'm so sorry to hear that news. You must be feeling bad, but yes there was your other baby waving at you. Doesn't that just about take the cake? I'm so glad to hear that your baby is healthy, and growing strong. Sometimes I have heard that its necessary for the other one to grow appropriately, but I'm certainly not a doctor. It seems that nature sometimes takes care of those things itself, on its own time.

I have read several things both about women keeping their deceased twin inside, passing the twin, the twin being reabsorbed, and in later age cases delivering a deceased twin. I really don't know about what gestational age does what though, only our dr's would know that for sure.

Know you are in our thoughts, and we are hoping for you to stay strong and keep a wonderful attitude for your little one!

cwrj I am SO SO sorry!!! This was VERY hard on me, as it just happened to us 3 weeks ago. We saw baby B doing flips, measuring 2 days ahead and had a HB of 156bpm. 2 days later I had some "different" cramping and bleeding so I rushed to the RE and its heart had stopped. RE said it must have just happened within the last 12 hours because there was still some blood flow in baby B. I cried SO hard for 2 days. I had such an emtional challange trying to understand that I still had baby A growing and was very healthy. Now, I am still sad for baby B, I think about it everyday, but I concentrate so hard on Baby A to grow and am estatic that he is still growing and is very active.
The last visit I had with u/s baby B had strunk some, but was measuring at 7.5 weeks. RE said it may strink out and be absorbed or this may be the smallest it gets and it will just stay there until birth. He said that everyone is different as each body does what it wants. He was a little nervous about the idea of passing it since i was bleeding so much, but it appears that it is not going to happen. Has your bleeding stopped? I know that last week you had some bleeding.

Well, I am very glad that the other baby is going great and was waving at mommy and daddy. I wish this didnt happen to us, but I've read that it is very common, more common than not and 1 in every 8 twin pregnancies end with a singleton.

Anyone else's stomach iching like crazy????

Dakota-I hear you about the sex drive. I was like that weeks 6-8, but now its waned quite a bit. I guess again its the hormones taking over, and trying to "get their way", but if your dr. said to hold off I guess that would be the best advice :o

Hang in there. Yes, with my belly button beginning to push out I've had some itching, just nothing too bad - YET!

Crwj00-- did you have any bleeding? This scares me that you can lose a baby and have no idea it happened. I guess it's different when its twins cause you still have to support the other baby. I just think what if something happened and I don't know it. anyway I have a pregnancy welcome tonight with a tour of our Womens and Babies hospital. My OB appt is next monday. I dont have time to do personals. Thinking of you CRWJ00!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies -

Cwrj - I am sorry for your loss. That has to be a hard thing but I agree with the happy thoughts of the other little bean in there. My s/he grow to be and strong and healthy and happy.

Talk about itchy stomachs..... I to have that I thought ahh must be dry skin. Also is anyone else having dandruff issues. I know that is gross I have healthy hair and this is not norm for me but I have pretty bad dandruff right now and I am not sure if htis is a common thing or if I am just "different"

Talk to you all soon

Hi Everyone

Wow busy day I missed. I had a rough day yesterday. I woke in the morning not feeling well at all and ended up going into work late. Then when I finally did get to work I only made it about 3 hours and had to go home. I guess I am doing pretty good that was the first day I actually felt too crappy to come to work. I have started having some pretty good headaches that are annoying.

But my bum is already starting to feel better about no PIO and I don't have to do suppositories!!! My RE had instructed us to be very consistent with all of our shots so when 8:00 Saturday night rolls around and we are not getting ready for shots after 2 1/2 months if felt pretty weird.

CWRJ - I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like you are doing pretty well. Keep up the PMA. Take Care.

Genn - I don't have the dandruff but my scalp itches like crazy. Who would think dandruff as a side effect of pregnancy. Go figure.

Dakota - I know you already bought some clothes online but check out JCP.com they had some pretty good clearance deals on maternity clothes. I got a pair of pants on Sunday for $10 ($17 after shipping) but still pretty good. I also checked out the store clearance and got a few things.

The sex issue. We were given the ok at 6 1/2 weeks but we still have not done anything yet. DH is taking it in stride but I am even starting to have issues (which has never been a problem for me to DH dismay)

Neffi - How are your furry children?

Hope everyone is doing well. I guess I should get to work now since I have been here for an hour and really haven't done anything!

crwj - So sorry to hear your news. I can't imagine going in for your u/s not thinking anything was going wrong to find out that one of your babies stopped growing. Seeing the other one moving its arms around must have made it even harder...one one hand feeling sad, and on the other feeling such excitement. I think you have a good attitude, and I know your baby will thrive inside you!

Sex? my poor DH. I told him that once I'm ready I'll let him know. I feel bad, but my butt is sore and I'm really tired and my stomach has been bothering me. Just not a recipe for action...plus I'm going to bed well before him every night, and I feel like we barely get any awake time together anymore! An hour or two every night, and that's about it.

Dakota - I can't believe you're shopping for maternity clothes! Oh my! I guess I will probably have to start doing the same in a few weeks...but it just doesn't seem real yet. I have kind of a disproportioned belly, so I am fooling myself into thinking the baby will just grow into it, and I won't "show" as early as others. We'll see if my theory holds out. So far I still haven't gained any weight. Well, I lost a couple of pounds after getting the BFP, and now I'm back to where I started. I lost 15 pounds in the 6 months before the BFP, I'm paranoid about gaining back weight too quickly. Sounds like you got some good deals at Motherhood. So do maternity clothes come in various sizes? How do you shop for them? Will you have to buy more new clothes as you get more and more prego?

ftg - Thanks for the welcome back. I really feel like a total slacker at work. I am on the road most days and have a very flexible schedule. Plus, my boss is in another state. I find that I have been taking some unauthorized time off just because I am so tired. For example, this morning, I got up at 6:30 and was planning to leave the house by 7:30. Well, it's 10:30, and I'm sitting here on the computer! I got up, ate breakfast, showered, then laid down on the bed (for just a minute, I thought!). I just woke back up! OOPS! I will be on vacation next week, and when I get back, I will be 11 weeks. I'm REALLY hoping this exhaustion starts to pass by then.

Sonu - Great to hear from you! Can't believe you're going in for your 10-wk scan! That's awesome! How have you been feeling?

Angram - I laughed out loud when I read your post about your DH asking for copies of the different U/S shots. That's hilarious. Hope you have a good camera for when the baby is born!!

Well ladies, I'm not sure I'll be back on the board for a while...I have some visitors in town for work that will keep me occupied until Thursday, then we are headed out of town for vaca. I may login from my vaca...but maybe not. If not, I wish you all a wonderful couple of weeks...and I'll be back in touch again soon.

BTW - I have my final appt with my RE on the Monday after we get back...I will be 11 weeks that day. I tried to get an appointment with my OB for about two weeks after that....but I could only do 2 days later or 4 weeks later. So I am doing almost back-to-back appointments. Oh well. I plan to take some flowers or something to the RE's office for the doc and nurses...anyone have any other great ideas?

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Hugs

ftg - I'm so excited for your belly and it's definitely due to the baby since you're 13.5 weeks! I think mine is just bloated, so can't wait for the real deal :)

Gennessa - Did you shave your legs? :) I'm starting to feel a little less sick these days, but still not in the mood. I try for DH's sake, but he wants me to want it..my goodness how do you do that with all these hormones. I'm so waiting for the moment that happens though!!

Dakota - Oh yeah, I've had a few mood swings myself the past few days. I ended up going to the Motherhood store and buying quite a few things and they were very reasonable, but most stores have nothing for maternity. Target also has a few things, but like 2 rounders, which isn't much. Good luck with the mood, hope it gets better :)

cwrj00 - I am so very sorry to hear about your little one, it is so heartbreaking. I'm ecstatic to hear your other one is doing great though, wonderful news! My RE has told me my 2nd sac will either be absorbed into the healthy one or I could pass it, but it's a 50/50 chance either way. I'm nervous about possibly passing it, as I haven't had any bleeding and I know I will completely freak out. we're 10.2 weeks and nothing yet, so we'll see. Wow, I'm so sorry you're that sick these days and I cannot believe your doc won't give you a prescription. My RE gave me something at week 8, but it puts me into a coma, so I don't take it. My OB also said they would prescribe something, but I guess they all have different ways of doing things. I hope it passes for you soon!!

Gennessa - I've also had a very itchy scalp and thought maybe it was my shampoo/conditioner, but good to hear I'm not alone. The rest of my skin is not as dry, but I try to drench myself in lotion every morning.

Tarabeltwo - Sorry you're not feeling well, I hope it passes soon. I've also had headaches off and on the past week, but the allergies are so bad in Austin right now that I'm not sure if that is why or if it's the pregnancy.

Not much going on with me, same ol' thing. I have been feeling a bit better since yesterday, so that's good. Still feel pretty bad after eating, but that's better than for 24 hours! I have less than 2 weeks left of the progesterone and I'm so excited. I take my prenatal every morning and the Crinone gel as well, but I feel like I'm forgetting to do something. I think after so many months/years of shots, etc, it feels weird to not be doing as much. I'm ready though, this is such an exciting time in our lives!!!
