Penny- I get migraines regularly, usually hormonal right after my period. But I didn't have any on the lupron or stims. My doc said it was okay to take my migrane meds (Imitrex) anytime up to transfer if I needed to.
Iamhopeful - Welcome! I know 3 shots a day seem really daunting, but you'll soon be a pro!
lw - 11 fertilized - WOW! You're a star! I bet Monday can't come soon enough, but at least you'll be all healed up from your ER. My first ER was kind of tough, but I think it's a little funny. I was having my seasonal allergies, but couldn't take my meds that morning. So I guess I kept coughing (under sedation) throughout the procedure. My RE said (and I quote), "it was like skeet shooting."
dogz - I hope you did get two for the freezer! (Just saw your newest post - go little trooper!)
Faith - hooray for your big box of meds - who knew we'd ever be so excited to get a big box of needles.
Gi - my brother-in-law is from Kerry, and my sister always raves about it after their visits - they're thinking of moving there, and then I'd get to visit!
Babies - I am so excited about your super-embryos! And now I'm confused about whether I want to POAS too. darn.
tangela - so excited that your wait is almost over.
Everyone else who is waiting - I know how torturous it is, but I'm so glad you're hanging out here already. We can all use the group PMA.
Anyway, yeah, a move during a cycle is pretty dumb, but I didn't have much of a choice. Our IVF lab closes for the month of August, and I knew I couldn't do a fresh cycle during the school year, so this was our last chance for a while. As it is, it hasn't been too bad. The tricky part is that a bunch of people are helping us with the furniture move tomorrow (including my father-in-law), and I can't tell them why I can't lift things. I believe I will be faking a back injury.
