Hi Jacs

Glad to have you back.

Obviously the w/e for stags - my DH is on one this w/e as well - and like you I'm counting down the hours. He's already phoned me 3 times and said he will phone again later to check I'm ok - it's strange I never thought I could miss someone so much  I'm just a soppy old thing!!

So how are all you ladies - resting I expect

DH is in Blackpool - apparently a good place for a "tacky" stag!!! Well, I'm sure he'll explain all when he gets home.

I keep picking at food to stem off the sicky feeling but can't say I'm enjoying it - I just wish I knew what I fancied :?

Just started raining here - back to bed for rest for me  (Any excuse!!!)

Take care all

iv been sitting watching tv reading listening to music all day...really bored now
at one point i was sitting on the curb outside talking to the kids who live in the close a 3 year old called kia asked me if i was having a baby to which i answered of corse yes ... after a pause she asked me wot i was going to call it so i said i dont know wot should i call it kia??? she then said barbie  i asked her wot if it was a boy and she said well ken of course raised her eyes and tooddled along on her scooter
so there ya go my names sorted out cant wait to see pauls (dh)face when i tell him
do u think its too early to think of names???? iv been making lists for years would love something unusual but not too silly...has anyone thought of any??

Me and inspiration where food is concerned is non-existent at the moment. Becky might be right, it could be that my body is craving a certain vitamin and that's why it's not satisfied - I shall ask on Monday (thanks Becky).

I shall probably have something dull like macaroni cheese - DH hates it, so I tend to cook things like that when he's away. What about you, any decisions?

Like you I've been reading and watching TV all day - boredom is well and truly settled in now.

DH and I have discussed names - you can't help yourself really. We have a mental list of those we like and when the times gets closer we're going to make some definitive choices. Mind you it's fun playing the "What about ...." game isn't it?

Going to have a nice bowl of fruit - it tends to leave a better taste in my mouth at the moment. Water tastes disgusting for some reason!!!

Iam 10wks and my sickness havent subsided. Iam completely off food like Little P and worse for me I have lost a bit of weight instead of gaining. I only eat because of my baby the good thing though is I have never thrown up what goes in stays so thats my consolation. I continue going to work and my fatigue is not that bad any more. I have a small bump now and iam loving it.Iam taking Pregnacare which have a combination of important vitamins in pregnancy, I drink loads as well so I am not sure where iam lacking. Iam seriously bloated and have a funny taste in my mouth as well. BUT!!!!! IAM LOVING IT.

How is everyone doing.

You sound like me - with every sign or symptom I feel happier - are we finally going mad?

I've read a lot about weight again, and it is quite common to actually lose some weight in the first trimester so don't worry about that. I don't reckon there will be one day that goes by without a new thing to worry about.

I too have a bump and I just love it so much - I have had to buy maternity trousers as my jeans just don't fit now. I keep touching my bump, I just can't seem to leave it alone :D

I have to check on Monday that the vitamins I want to take are ok to take with all the extra injections I am on for the NK cells - just want to be safe and sure.

Hope you are ok - keep enjoying

Yes Iam suffering with the nausea but Iam happy because I know what Iam suffering for. Yesterday a friend was telling me to get prepared for a hard time in labour and I said I will be laughing throughout labour and enjoying every pain because I did enough crying for the past 7years when Iwas ttc. Which is true I cried at other people's good news.

Yes because of your NKcells you need to be extra careful. Lets take care of our little ones and enjoy every moment.

Having a special friend is great - with everything we go through we all need someone to share the ups and downs with.

I hope you have a lovely evening - don't have anything too spicy!!!

I'm off to watch tv in bed - lazy, lazy me!!!

Hugs to you all

CC wrote:Can't give you any advice sorry just sympathy. Lovely to have you on here - you tested just before me I think. The sickness must be awful BUT congrats because it's a fantastic sign and I was reading in a book yesterday that said it means you're less susceptible to miscarriage so whilst you're suffering you should also feel relieved. I also read that dry ginger biscuits are great for sickness but I really wouldn't know as I've had none yet (everyone thinks I'm mad but I'd love to feel such a definitive sign of pregnancy). How many scans have you had? Congrats on your twins - that's great!
Love Cherylxx

hi ya i have had two scans now one at 5 weeks and the other at 6 weeks both were amazing more so the 6 week one as we saw the two hearts beating i think my next one is in 5 weeks time also my midwife as told me that i will be scanned every 4-6 weeks because its twins

Wow that's fantastic - so happy for you. I've got first scan on Fri (5th Aug) and I'm hoping there's a heart beat or two but I'm feeling very calm and pragmatic about it so whatever will be will be. Delighted for you though - that's great news - keep us in touch with your progress. Have you had any luck with sickness remedies? A few people had put some tips on here for you if you read back.

Have just been reading back from yesterday and have to agree about lack of appetite - food seems boring at moment and I don't really fancy anything other than fruit. I love fruit lately and just sit there with melon, cherries, apples, bananas, satsumas - maybe it's a craving? I'm also right off anything fried, spicy or lardy - yuk. My DH thought he was treating me by bringing me a Burger King yesterday but I had to put in straight in bin (obviously without him realising) bless him.
Anyone else found anything delicious?
