Thanks so much for you support and encouragement, it really does make this journey easier!
My scan today showed 10-12 follies at 9-11mm, so the doc is happy and says to keep the current regime going. Small(ish) Gonal F dose and Metformin seems to be doing the trick. He is keep to avoid having to abandon the cycle because of OHSS. How do I tell him me too!!!

LM - I'm not sure what is 'normal' because my cycles so far have been far from, but my dr has said that they won't trigger me if I have more than 20 follies so that I don't have OHSS troubles.
He also says to be careful to avoid the competitive approach of comparing how many follies I have with the responses of others. Quality is more important than quality in his eyes, and he says he'd rather transfer 1 good blast than 3 iffy d3's.
I don't mean any offence of course to those with plenty of eggs or embies, please don't think that I do.

I guess that my point is that as much as we are all in the same infertility boat, we are all very, very different, and as far as I can tell, IVF is not an exact science, so we need to try not to compare ourselves to others in spite of it being in our human nature to do exactly that!
Happy Thursday everyone, the weekend is coming!
