u guys! Brought a smile to my face tonight!

I didn't get a chance to do my usual am check in - i spilled my powder foundation all over the bathroom and it caused me to be late! So I'm doing the pm one instead.

Becks - sorry you're still feeling sicky... and poo on the new work ppl, they don't want what you've got, do they?! Hope the flu is warding off AF tho... just one more day!!! You can do it! The bum operation isn't going to interfere with your IVF is it?? I guess not, you would have said! I'm sure you've lost more than 1 lb, it's just AF's luggage that makes it seem like less! Once you send her packing you'll see! I agree with you on the chat. Steph, Mia & i used it one night. It was good! We saved you guys from sooooo much extra stuff! We all need to coordinate our schedules for chatting!!

Miracle - I would love to help you out with the wait til June... but I can't get January to move fast enough and there's only 1 more day! Time does creep by when you're waiting.....ugh. Don't let Steph and Mia give you a hard time about working for the government... I'm one of "THOSE" too... little do they know that us government people have "connections"... they don't wanna mess around!

Mia - Excellent Fertilization Report! A+ - I'm still all confused about the day 3 vs day 5 issue... I know each clinic has a strong opinion one way or the other, but I just don't know. Mine likes the day 3 option and only does day 5 if there is any question about which is the best to put back. I'm not so sure I'm in agreement. but whatdya gonna do?

Jackie - Are we doing AF jigs for you? I wasn't sure from your post. I know you want to do Feb, if clinic can take you, right? Why wouldn't they? Do you have restrictions like they do overseas?

Steph - WOOOHOOO! Congrats on the job offer! How long do you have before you have to give them an answer? I know you have some other options. You are just so desirable and in demand... must be nice to be you - well, after this stint in hell is over, anyway. I'm not surprised you don't feel anything yet, I didn't feel anything right away either and both times i was working on 2 dozen... did you before?? Glad the cramps are gone, tho. I guess i complained about her being away so much that she's punishing me by making my ovaries turn against me from where ever she resides.... ovary mind-control. wicked.

Chris - Oh honey... I'm sorry things aren't going as you'd hoped. I know nothing about IUI but I have to say that if it were me,.... I'd go with what I know.... You got pg with IUI, not with IVF and if this cycle doesn't look promising... esp if insurance is a factor... I'd stick to what I knew. Same reason I'm not doing herbs before this cycle... it's not superstition, just analytical. But that's just me. Listen to your doctors! I know I sometimes feel like they're nuts and should listen to me, (like i know what i'm talking about, right?!) but they do know their stuff... but ultimately God is in control!

Su - Hope you enjoyed your couch potato time. Sorry you're so tired! Hope that energy boost kicks in soon!!

Angel - Sorry you are sick too! Man what is going on with you guys? Maybe the sickiness is keeping AF from you too?! (Wait, then what's my deal?!) Hope she comes soon... ok, seriously, this AF stuff is getting OLD! Hope your business trip went well... it's good to have you back!

Stephjim - I'm so jealous, sleeping in until 2!! Though i don't know when i'd ever get back to bed if i did! Sorry Dh is annoying you. They do that. Ok, so here's the quick and dirty on me... RN said if no AF by Mon, I will go in and get BW and meds to make me start (BW?? I'm NOT PG! Not a possibility) I talked to LAc today, I'm going in tomorrow to get tons of needles in me - speaking of pincushion! I'll look like one! So hopefully that will get things GOING! I'm starting to get grouchy. Not a good color for me. Our secretary told me today that i reminded her of the dude from Beetlejuice!

Like I said, not a good color.

So hopefully I'll be back tomorrow at this time to say that AF has arrived (and for Angel as well - and for Becks (after 6pm only, please!))

Morning Wishful

My AF arrived during last night

She being a right ***** and is very very painful, i have taken 2 paracetamol and 2 codine tablets and i have a hot water bottle, but nothing is working - wot else can i do to stop the pain???

Sorry Mia if ive been a moaning minnie here lately - just this flu is not letting up - ive never had one this bad and i just wanted to share it with u ladies - let u get the jist of how im feeling like lol ....

Still clammy and sticky/sweaty today - but at least my nose isnt running as bad - i havent even rung work this morning, i think they can safely assume i wont be going in

Hi Becky - at least you will have next couple of weeks to get rid of lurgy, have bum op and then focus on IVF - PMA PMA !

Not sure what else to suggest for AF pain - what about a bit of Jeremy Kyle show - and that will make you realise how good your life is!!! - I love that show!

I am off work two days hols - trying to use it all up before end of March - why do we always save it up ???

Just off for a nice hot stones massage and mini manicure now - so will be back lunchtime - then off up to Yorkshire for few days to see parents - DH and dad are off quad biking tom (have you seen the weather forecast

) on north york moors and mum and I are off retail therapy!!

Well girls you didnt get rid of me as i'm back

Thanks for all the good luck messages.

Wont bore you with all the details but all went fine.

Was dreading going to Girona airport but found it really easy and fast. Straight off plane, straight on to bus and 10-15 min walk to Hotel Montblanc, which was really nice, airy and clean plus 5 min walk if that to Las Ramblas. Found it so much better to stay near the centre then just travel over to IM which took 15-20 mins on the metro.
Sunday everything was closed but we walked from hotel to end of Barcelona---i kid you not---along the beach and past twin towers (port olimpia) and beyond. Took 2 and a half hours but was gorgeous in the sun.

Anyway had my diazipam and felt lovely and calm and a bit dizzy this time but et was a breeze. Dr a bit confused about why its not working as she said our embies are good and all the tests in UK and IM are al clear. Think this is sometimes more frustrating-----WHY IS IT NOT WORKING????? Was pleased about our embies being a 10 and 7 and Dr said they look good and are continuing to develop well with no cells lost.
So the wait is on but i am taking a day at a time and praying hard. Going back to work on Monday.

So back to this dreary weather. We just love Barcelona and was a bit sad there might be no more visits there---we'll see.

So am off to the couch---nothing like a bit of chilling and some trash tv.

Trash TV is right boring today, ive watched Jeremy Kyle (Carolyns advise) then the aution ur home, then to buy or rent - arghhhhhhh ive had enuff - out of all the channels i got on sky - there nothing there i fancy at all ....
Gonna have some soup and then a bath i think ....
