Becky - hope you're resting it. Maybe its for the better that your tmt got pushed to next month. That way you can recover from the nasty flu, have your bum op and be all ready for IVF.

Steph, Congrats on getting the job. Have you accepted it, and when do you start? Have you told them that you'll be off on maternity leave soon?

Stephjim - you taking care of your little ones? You shouldn't be getting worked up in your 2ww. Tell DH that your RE said that he can't smoke around you at all.

Hope - Oooohhh....are you a CIA agent? AF is just a nasty visitor - going to Becky when she is not ready. And not coming to us, who are dying to welcome her with open arms.

Becky: SOrry that witch showed up!! I take ibuprofen - 4 of them, and I swear by them. Nothing else helps me. I usually am in intense pain the first 24 hours of AF. And moan all you like, you know I am just teasing you about not whining . I love being sick the first day - it is soooo wonderful to not feel guilty about just laying in bed. An dI love the way my body aches all over... ok, ok, I know I am weird . But after the first day it sucks!! And to be sick sooo long, I really feel for you. I was sure AF was gonna stay away while you were sick!!

HOPE: Yeahh!!! You are back - missed you SOunds like a fun morning you had!! I can't picture you moody!! Your moody is probably like Steph and my's nice!!

Well I am sooo gassy pee yuu. Not sure if it is the meds, or what!! Poor dh . He has been doing great at giving me the IM shots, sooo relieved. And I will find out today if I have the transfer tomorrow or Sunday!!

welshbugger - what a bummer about AF. how annoying. cant you phone them and say it's nearly a feb AF. and with feb being a short month, your next AF may not happen until march (if longer than 29 days)....and you really dont want to start in march, etc, etc. will they not buy that??

hi to everyone else!!! nursery carpet is coming on saturday, then the nursery furniture can go up. then i can get all the baby stuff out of our room and into the nursery. cant wait. apart from that, just counting down the days till i go on maternity leave. 8 weeks tomorrow!

Miracle, You asked why we are doinf IVF, sorry so late on getting back to you,,, DH had a vasectomy and a reversal but didnt work so we have to do ICSI. I have 1 more vial.

Mia,, hoping you get your embies soon. I think the meds can make you feel gassy

He does not smoke around me because he smokes outside, of course, unless we are in the car. So I will talk to him about that. I don't think that he gets it that I could be pregnant right now. He has to see the positive test. Like the other day when I asked him to do the litter box he gave me a hard time, but the next time he was fine about it. Luckily, we have the kids this weekend so he won't be able to smoke in the car. I will talk to him about that though. I usually just open the window.

I got one week til test date. Trying not to stress over the cramps I am having right now. They could be pregnancy ones right?

I know how you are feeling with the smoking thing. Just keep talking to him about it. He will realize how important it is to both of you.

My DH doesnt smoke but I did before this journey and it is hard.

Mia- That is right, that is going to be your belly at 5 weeks!!! You are so having a litter!!!! I think you are just gassy all the time and your just trying to blame it on the meds!! By the way, how is your new kitty?

I know this is a really stressful time right now...but in 1 week it will so be worth. Cant wait to hear about your BFP TOO!!!!

Jackie- That sucks. The Drs. say how easy they can be reversed so you think what the heck. Then when you want it reversed there is problems!!

Thanks for the dances. It is what Day 6?? I never remember when I start to feel anything so I dunno, I just want results (instant gratification is my name). So it may be normal to not have anything now but I just stress about it...maybe I should find some spots to push haha. As far as telling them about taking it, I did. I have tons of paperwork to do though before I get my official appointment letter, but for now I think this is the better option in the long run for me. I still have another interview in Feb incase the govt thinks I'm a spy and doesn't want me The other job would be far more clinical, may pay more, but if I ever decided to move I'd have to give all my time up working there...at least with the VA I can try to move locations! Not to mention the other job I'd add an hour of commuting to my day everyday...not cuz it is far, but cuz of the AMOUNT of traffic going to the major med center! I don't like that thought haha.

Man Hope I sure hope that AF gets there! Maybe the accupuncture will give you what you need tomorrow. I understand they want to do the BW though...it is to cover their arses if they give you meds to start AF either that our you could sue em IF you were preggers and the meds did something to the baby! It's the way of America...suesuesue haha.

Carolyn I am HOPING to start the beginning of April...tons of paperwork to get through 1st. Then I have a 2 week vacay at my OLD job scheduled end of March- April 6...so I wanna use that...I'm planning if all goes right to give them notice at the beginning of vacay I will tell em I will only do every other weekend at that point...then after May (when I know I am safely beyond my contract...long story I think I mentioned but my contract is not very how should I say INFORMATIVE as far as dates) I will tell them to take a flying leap completely!

Morning Wishful

My AF arrived during last night She being a right ***** and is very very painful, i have taken 2 paracetamol and 2 codine tablets and i have a hot water bottle, but nothing is working - wot else can i do to stop the pain???

THAT *****!!!!!!

As far as the pain goes.....hot pokers to the eye???? Mine was horrible too this month! I did ibuprofen cuz I figure I wasn't pregnant yet. It helped way more than tylenol (paracetamol is your equivalent to Tylenol).

LORDY YES!!!!! Unlike Mia's gas being caused by her dinner out the other day I had mine like a week before AF was to arrive when I got my BFP!!! OOO fingers crossed for you Steph!!!!

Well girls got the call... 4 of my 5 continued dividing an dthey were able to fertilize two of the eggs that had an extra day to mature!! So I have 6 total and they WILL DO A DAY 5 TRANSFER!!! Soooo happy, first off all b/c I didn't want too many embies. Second, I don't have to miss work on Saturday, so I can go out in a couple of weeks with dh for our anniversary!! YEAHHH!! I am so happy at this report!

Hi everyone, hope that you are all better than yesterday. I was a wreck yesterday, but seems as though I was not the only one!!!!

Went in again for blood & sono to check on my follies. there are four now and a couple of wee ones. RE wants to wait another couple of days to see if little ones get bigger. So, still not sure if IUI or IVF is the way to go this month. If there's more than 4 we will probably go with IVF. We have to be careful with the IVF's because we only have insurance for a couple more cycles. RE says my body will fluctuate with number of follies (Age factor). I may get more next month. (One time I got 10!) So no answer really. Gotta wait another day or two to decide. I am trying to hang in there.

Sorry I don't have time for personals at the moment. Gotta pick up the students. I'll be back later. Wishing the best for all of you. Hope the sickies feel better. Thanks for being here.
