Hi, Sameera! Thanks for responding so quickly! I was very bloated after ER - very. Then it went away. Now I don't feel so much bloated but I do get up about 3 times a night to go to the bathroom and have some occasional cramps. That's it though. Does that mean anything? My beta is scheduled for 5/1 - so far away. Forgive me if it's redundant, but it's hard to keep everyone straight - where are you in your cycle?

Hi Everyone,

So much is going on, I can't keep up. I need to start taking notes.

Yeah Donna, on your positive HPT. Also congrats to Joe and your wife. I hope these BFP's keep going.

Amber - Sorry to hear that your cycle was cancelled. I am sure that your RE or a new RE can come up with another plan of action for your next cycle that will help you stim better.

Sameera - Only a few more days to go. I don't think I will be able to wait that long to POAS. Though, I am going to try.

Dr. Jen - Glad you had a good time shopping with your Mom and Aunt. I haven't started feeling any weight gain yet but I have also been working out. This is my last week with my personal trainer till

June.

Courtney - Good luck on your ER.

Veronica and Jeanie - Welcome to the board. This is definaly a good place to be when you just want to express your feelings and don't have anyone close by that can relate.

Amy - I had a little pain with the Hyperscopy so I didn't think it was a big deal, just some cramping. Though, my cousin had it done and she pretty much went into shock a couple hours later. Procedures effect differnt people in differnt ways. I would go for the sedative if they are offering.

For me, I am on my 5th day of stims. I am just a little bloated and have some pain every now and then. I am really tired of taking drugs. My body feels all out of wack. I can't believe I will be having ER next week, should be May 1. My E2 level after 3 days of stims was 380 so I guess that is good. Does anyone know what a good level of E2 is for 3 days stims? I guess it will be differnt for anyone. Another good note is that they decresed my Follistim from 225u to 150u so now I hopefully won't have buy anymore Follistim.

There is so much going on! I was keeping notes, but I'm afraid they're out of date now. :(

Donna, I know how you're feeling about the hpt. We'd all love to see the line get progressively darker. That would be reassuring, but I do not think you should worry! Those tests are not designed to measure hcg levels. I know first response is supposed to be good, but maybe it's continues to show light results for a long time. I don't think you can compare one test to another. You got a positive! That all that matters! :D Can't wait to hear the beta.

Courtney & Chelly, good luck on ER! Anxiously awaiting your results.

Amy, sorry your vacation was little bitter sweet. And I'm sorry for your loss.
Are you getting excited for your new cycle?

Jayne & Veronica, welcome!

To all of you other fertile turtles, Sameera, Jim, Jeanie, Jes, DrJen, SD, +more, good luck. I'm sending you baby dust!

Yay Donna - That picture made me teary. I am sure you are over the moon. What do you think of taking a digitial HPT? Are those better or worse?

Congrats to Joe too. Looks like you and Donna are starting some serious good luck for this thread!

All is well here. DH and I are in Montana. It is COLD and snowy. Living in SoCal has made me wimpy. Start Lupron on Thursday. Other than that I am trying to relax and missing the furry babies left at home.

Have a good week.

Rubylee I don't like the digitals. I tried that last year when I got pregnant and when my beta came back at 163 the digital still said not pregnant.
I noticed the dollar general tests are very accurate, and only costs a buck!!

Jayne-

Good luck to you. We also did two day-3 8-cell transfers. No idea the success rate here though. I know we have the best clinic in our state, but even so, who knows if the #'s are accurate. My wife is 31 and healthy and had a nice cycle.

They told us that the odds are like 50% at this point for anyone who actually transfers embryos. Originally, our doctor told us 60% based on our situation. My thinking is that if it's actually 50% for the clinic as a whole, then given my wife's age, health and good cycle #'s, her chances might creep up. We also had the ICSI and assisted hatching. Did you have AH?

I've looked on the net as to how the embryo actually embeds itself in the lining and you know what? No one knows! At least that's the information I found.

Bottom line is, science can't make a baby. Only God can. These are wonderful doctors but they can only do so much.

I wish you the best in your quest.

Wow, looks like it has been a busy morning already!! Sounds like everyone is doing good, and that's good to hear!

OK, so I receieved all my meds yesterday, and let me just say, I was overwhelmed when I opened that box!! There were SOOOO many meds in there! I took them all out, and the stuff covered my entire kitchen table! I am still trying to figure out what they all are, and what they are for. Looks like we got the generic version of several meds, so I am trying to match the med list with the schedule my RE gave me, and I am so confused! Thanks goodness I have an appointment in the morning so they can clear it all up for me! This is a list of everything I got!

Natafort 30 tablets (Prenatal vitamin)
Leuprolide (generic for Lupron) 2 week kit
Methylprednisolone 8 tabs
Doxycycline 8 capsules
Progesterone Ethyl Oleate 20 mls
Aspirin 90 tablets
LD – Ovidrel 1 box
Estradiol 40 tablets
Prometrium 90 capsules
Diazepam (generic for Valium) 1 tablet
Doxycycline (for DH) 30 capsules
Ganirelix Acetate .5ml/1 shot
Chorionic Gonad 10000VI 1 vial
Gonal F 900IU RFF Pen 1 box
Gonal F 300IU RFF Pen 2 boxes
6 packs of needles/syringes

WOW, that is a lot of medication for one month!! Now I'm getting nervous about keeping up with it all!!

Courtney: Good luck with the ER! We will all be praying for you!

Ruby: Not much longer before the Lupron begins! I know what you mean, hard to stay relaxed at this point!

To all the new joiners, welcome on board! This is a great group of support on this board!

To everyone else, hope the 2wwaiters are hanging in there, not much longer now! OK, back to work. Talk to you all later!

Hi yall, sorry I haven't posted, I am just now getting my head back.
I triggered on Sunday; it didn't hurt a bit when DH actually did the shot, but my tushie is still kinda sore. My recommendation is to ice the heck out of it for 5-10 before the shot and then rub/massage the area afterwards.

ER went well, they got 17 eggs! Hopefully they all fertilize...we are doing partial ICSI. The anesthesiologist was super good, I don't even remember them putting me to sleep. I woke up and had some mean cramps, but they gave me some fentanyl and reglan for the nausea. I have been home since 11am, I slept a little bit but really I don't have too much pain.

Back to work tomorrow, and awaiting the fert report!

Good luck courtney with ER!

Amber- I am so sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle...things will work out don't worry!

Thank you for your well wishes! Will write more tomorrow!

God Bless- Michele

Because I was getting the BFP's the Dr office let me have my beta done today. She called me and said I don't know how you are getting Positive pregnancy tests because your beta came back negative as in zero.

I am so upset. How can a test that was positive at 4:00 AM become negative through blood test by 12 noon? I know I wasn't making things up with my tests. You all saw the test I posted. I had another one the same this morning.

I am so depressed over this. My family and friends don't understand what I am going through. This is so upsetting. I just want to say scew it and not do anymore cycles. We have a total of 6 in the freezer. But whats the point? 6 failed cycles. The only thing keeping me from getting pregnant is having my tubes tied 7 years ago. I have 4 children from a previous marriage. I do thank the Lord for my children, and I know that I should be greatful to have my kids, but I am remarried and we want one together.

I am 35 years old, DH 31.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I have lost hope.
I just POAS twice and they are faint positives.

Donna-

I don't have any medical advice for you. I only have my own belief that God chooses if and when we are blessed. I hope you can understand this and really believe it. We need to be grateful for the things we do have and not lament the things we don't.

We are currently in our 2ww. I really cannot imagine getting a BFP because I am just very skeptical about these types of procedures. But, I know that if God wants us to be parents He will make it happen.

Don't be bitter or cynical. I understand your desire to share something so special with your new husband. But whether this happens for you or not shouldn't change the love you have together.

I am feeling your pain and I wish you the best.

Donna - I'm so sorry about your negative beta. Can your RE retest for beta again see if number changes?

I cannot begin to imagine how painful this whole thing maybe but you cannot lose hope and faith in god.. That's very important, things will happen when they are meant to happen.

You just have to be patient and understand that you can only try and rest is all in almighty's hand...

Don't mean to lecture you, I am sure you already know this but I just wanna let you know that we are here for your support and wishing you all the best.

Michele - OMG 17 eggs sounds awesome - Hope they all fertilize and you get some good healthy embies transfered :) Keep us posted with your fert report!!!

Dri-Jim- How's your 2ww going? you guys gonna do HPT test??

Amber - I'm glad to hear that you are doing well and ready to start a new cycle. I wish you all the best :)

Jharris - I can understand being overwhelmed with seeing all those meds..I was literally clueless and didn't know which was what.. Hope your appt goes well tomorrow.

Courtney - Hows did your ER went and how you feeling?

DrJen, Jeanie, chris, yellow, SD, JesJes - Hope you guys are doing great as well, I'm thinking of you guys..

Jayne and veronica - welcome to the board.

As for me I was dizzy and nauseous for a little bit today - this bloating has still not gone away. ugh, it sucks..

I still have not done POAS - got 4 more days and I will be doing it and preparing myself.

Hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed.

Donna, I am sorry to hear about the negative betas, our hearts go out to your pain. Hang in there and retest as I see your original date was 4/24 which is 2 days away.

To all whom have given their kind words of encouragement, thanks from the both of us, it means a ton. We have betas tomorrow and we are really nervous. Even with the BFP's we are still waiting for the beta results. My wife's acupuncturist congratulated her today saying she has a slippery pulse and is a strong sign of pregnancy which we didn't know. She said she noticed it last week but didn't want to say anything. So hopefully knock on wood I can come back with good news of a BFP. Take care all.
