Evening ladies - I guess most of you will be reading this tomorrow...so good morning or afternoon on Saturday! ;)

I have been waiting to log on. My DSSs are here for the wknd and we were hanging out, having dinner and playing games. If I don't play a game with them, they get absorbed into video games, tv & computer (oooh, kind of like me!) anyway, it was fun. DH is working late, so it was just me & the boys!

SOOOOOOO... I'm happy to report...whether it be from acupuncture or just cos she finally got her itenerary straight, I dunno... but
Image

And the only thing I can say, is everything I read about it being like no other you've had before, is true. I am crampy and yucky but I promise I won't say another word about it, cos I'm starting BCPs on Sunday and I'm just glad to be back on track and feeling "NORMAL" again!!! Thanks to all of you for your PMA, support, and AF jigs!! You guys are the best!

Quickly, that means I'll be starting BCPs on Sunday for 3 weeks, then heading in to stims. If my schedule is the same as it has been for the last two rounds (I'm an excel-charting nerd) then I will be going in for ER/ET the week of March 10.

So, enough about me... obviously I've escaped my funk of yesterday!

I'm going to try to do a quick catch up...(try)

Chriss - Good girl, trusting in your RE. That's why you pay him the big bucks! He better know what route is the best choice! Grow follies Grow! Let us know what he says tomorrow. Thinking of you!! Glad to see your PMA is back up & running strong... thanks for the boost! Keep it up... Image

Jen1
- thinking of you, sweetie. You quit getting worked up over those donor eggs! You have beautiful little embies implanting, getting all cozy in there now. PMA, PMA, PMA!!! Image

Angel - I'm glad you've gotten some peace in the waiting... and I hope you don't have to wait much longer... hope you're feeling better (and haven't twisted an ovary!! ouch!!)

Stephjim
- Hope you had fun tonight with your friend. :) I know what you mean about everyone being pg - every other woman is pg and those that aren't? they've got little ankle biters in tow!! I went to the library yesterday (btw - finally finished Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, moving on to Wicked) and this lady has 2 kids in the elevator, the older one wants to hit the button (of course) and she's yelling at him on which one and totally not helping him find it! She kept saying "the other 1" - but there were like 4 1's on there (with letters) it was so hateful sounding! You can't help but think - God, if you will bless me with just one, I promise I won't talk to him/her like that!!! UGH. Gets back to the insensitive ppl about IF - they are all in the same category if you ask me... oblivious to how good they have it. (but I know I have it good in other areas, and could take a lesson!! ;) ) SO - after that rant, what'd ya think of Lost???? Wanna flash forward?! ;) ... and...Image

Mia
- WOOO HOOO!!! 4 (maybe 5) embies!!! Excellent!!!! So glad you don't have to worry about dad being there to sneak around with your bed rest! Did you guys enjoy your visit?? I understand you BBQ'd... ??? Didn't I tell ya?? BBQ is a noun, not a verb! ;)

Becks - Glad to see you're starting to get back to your old self!! We've missed ya! Enjoy the game tomorrow! Go Wales! (sorry Englanders - I don't have a dog in that fight!)

Steph - I see you've returned from hell... good to have ya back. Sorry about the icy face! :( Did you ever get any answers to your ??s the other day?? Back to work tomorow or no?

Su, Miracle and everyone else
- sorry... I'm running out of steam!! Hope you are welll and thinking of you!

Everyone have a great weekend!! Image

Hello all!! I am back. We had fun with my DH's friend. She was in town for buisness and he has not seen here since they were 14. Anyways, getting ready to go to bed but wanted to tell everyone goodnight. I am glad I am working 4 of the next 5 days because today was a bad day as far as dwelling, you know?

Good night ladies.

I still don't get the IUI days schedule, but if my day 1 started with AF, then by day 7, I still had 4 more B/W & U/S appts to go before ER! - so I wasn't feeling much - and I had a boat-load of eggs. Don't get your panties all wrinkled! they're there and growing strong! Wait till you get to see 'em... that's so cool!

Morning Ladies,

Dunno if anyone is about, but i have a question.

Remember my friend was having her ER on Friday (I asked about her hubby and his 'jolly' habbits) well anyhow, she had her ER yesterday and they got 6 eggs - which she was really pleased with as her FSH level is 20 odd and that her tmt has had to be cancelled so many times before, she is just pleased that it got this far :D
Happy days - untill this morning when the clinic rung her - only 1 fertalized ()i hear u all saying, she only needs 1) but its still only at cell stage x 1. She has been told that it maybe a case of it being a slow started (as i tried to calm her down and tell her that too) but she also going on about another one that the nurse says is showing signs of a (excuse me if i get this wrong) 'Nucleas' i dont kow what that means, and she was too upset to ask, by the time i had calmed her down and she rung the clinic back to ask - they had already gone home and the anwser machine was on. She was tld to come back on Monday at 6.45AM.
Does anyone know what a 'nucleas' might mean? I cant tell her cos i havent got a clue, ive tried to google it but cant get much sense. I also asked her to ask the clinic for emergency ICSI - but as i said, they were closed by the time she rung back.
Sorry no personals ladies, i hope your all doing well - Stephjim keep up that PMA - Steph (nutter one) Hello lol xxx, Hi to everyone else, any anwsers or advise would be extremly grateful ladies, i thank u in advance :D

Becky Xxxx

Welsh, I am not familiar enough with IVF to give you a definitive answer, but basically every LIVING cell has a nucleus. It is the center of the cell that has the protons and the electrons in it and long with the neutrons. I would think one with a nucleus would be a good thing. Let us know what she finds out.

Good Morning Everyone :)

Becky, sorry I don't have a clue either. How's the flu? and AF? still in pain?
pequele wrote: Everybody has a different opinion on it. Some banks have a program that allows you to do a matching type thing (for a fee of course)....taking characteristics of your hubby and matching it with the donor. That is nice since you want your child to blend well into your family...not sure if that lab does that, but they may.
Odd that you have to pay extra for matching, that's what they do routinely here. You don't get much choice here but they only give you the option of donors that match DH's characteristics (or your own if you don't have a DH)

Yes I plan on telling my child but, as Steph says, its probably easier for us as they're gonna ask why they've got no Daddy. I heard that they are actually thinking about making it compulsory to tell the child here. Not sure how that would work.

Steph, isn't it lovely when you get an unexpected quiet day in hell, I love that. Unfortunately mine was the opposite. Friday is usually the best day of the week but for some reason it went mad yesterday. Maybe all the sick people moved here to avoid your weather  Image

AF finally arrived after her little detour to Becky. Bet you feel like jumping for joy. Don't forget to send her on to Angel as soon as you're done with her.

Stephjim and Jen - thinking of you and wishing that 2ww to go quickly

Mia - all the best for ET tomorrow then we'll have 3 in the 2ww :D

Su how you doing hows the maternity clothes coming they are so comfortable arent they are you showing much yet [/quote]

Only wearing the jeans so far, anything else I try on is just far too big. I'm getting really short of work clothes tho' cos normal ons are getting tight. I guess I'm in that inbetween stage. I seem to show more in the aftenoon/evening (after eating I guess) but in the morning I'm like 'where's it gone?'
I'm more confusd than ever about prams now. Did I say I'd seen one I really liked and thought it was the same as a work friend recently bought? Well I'd seen some bad reviews about it (wheels falling off  ) but they said the problems had been sorted out. My friend came in to visit this week so obviously I wanted to look at her pram but she came in with a borrowed one 'cos, guess what, hers had gone to be repaired 'cos the wheels had jammed  Time to rethink again, it a good thing I started looking early as I'm likely to change my mind about a hundred times before I buy

Not much going on here, still really tired but not sleeping very well. House is a tip as I've been so lazy. Got nothing much planned for the weekend so I guess it'll be housework with lots of rest inbetween. Got an appointment to see my consultant at the hospital next Friday. Apparently they like to see anyone whose had fertility treatment. Just hope she understands what iui is better than the midwife who didn't have much clue

I'll be back later, well prob around all day if there's anyone to play with
