Hi Ladies

We are a right jet set bunch. Me in Dubai and Jen in touch from Big B.

Real quickie from me as I am on internet from hotel but I have to pay - well may be I shall sneak it onto the clients bill!!!!

Jen1d - been thinking of you every day. So glad that you are now in Big B and the clinic actually exists. Crossing everything for you tomorrow. Will try to sneak on to see your news tomorrow. If not will be home and check on Thursday. You sound so up for it. So hoping that it is going to live up to expectations. Sorry about your friend but you are going to be in the same state as her very very soon

Aunty - silly so & so. You never need to apologise. You made it up with that great birthday greating. Hope that you are going to get the final paperwork in place and the green light for the move

Rachel - sorry that the weather was not better for you & you argued a bit. At least the break from work must have done you some good. Hope AF not too bad

Gecko - Brave decision. I have got my head around 'new' eggs but dh is not quite there yet. But he is allowing it as a possibility which is progress since 6 months ago. I am with you. It will be your baby. You will carry and nuture her/him. You will have just had a little help from a very special lady to get you on your way. Hope that you can start sooner rather than later

Shantala - My space. You asked me before hun - was avoiding your questions!!! I started to set up. But then I fugured that I was too old as could not get a photo to load!!!!

Becky - sorry that your smears are a worry. If they are concerning you and I could see why they would be then give them a call and tell them that you want it checked out before you do ivf. Not an unreasonable request at all. Good on you for the time and in those conditions in the walk for life. Go Becky!!!

Sorry no more personals. Need to go to bed as absolutely shattered - nearly 11.30pm and it has been full on since I got here. Been thinking of you all. Honest.

Just so you don't think that it has been all work. Managed some top shopping this evening for fake gear. Loaded up on bags - for me and as pressies - plus wallets and Mont Blancs. More on that when I get back.

Not thinking too much about tmt but did just sneak a look at my ticker. Less than 2 weeks until I start. OMG. Getting a bit real.

Will catch up with everyone else when back in my own home. Miss my dh and all of you.

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Dh is much better now thanks to that cyber hug you sent him  Well done for your race for life you did fantastic with the money and your time was excellent! :D My paper work hasnt arrived in Barcelona yet and its nearly a week since we sent it :? I may have to fax it to them if they dont get it tomorrow. I am also very worried as I have been bleeding for nearly two weeks, I started the night dh had to go to hospital and that was the 22nd May I am going to see doctor tomorrow as I have never been like this before and am worried that we will have to cancel Barcelona.I feel like s**t at the moment  everything seems to be going wrong! Hope its nothing but cant help being worried, so I know how you feel.

Aunty- Lovely to hear from you. Dh is feeling better thanks his levels are coming down a little at last. Good luck with the house. :D

Rachel- Hope you and dh have done lots of making up after your holiday  Hope your leak is fixed and your garden recovers quickly. Has af come?, hope she doesnt give you too much grief. I would get excited about Barcelona but as I told Becky this bleeding is making me very worried. :(

Karia- Glad you and dh have made up :D , its good to have a few options. We were accepted for adoption two years ago but havent had any success yet,but we still hope the IVF or the adoption will give us a baby eventually.

Angel- Hello, welcome back :D . Hope you feel better soon after your lap I think I was better after a week but dont rush.Glad everything looks normal, it sounds like you are on track for your next tmt.

Geckogirl- It sounds like you have a very good clinic. Good luck with getting a suitable donor. I also have to have egg donation and know that it is difficult to come to terms with but im sure once that baby is in your arms it wont make any difference! :D

Hi Ladies

Geckogirl – think its fantastic that this was not a difficult decision to you. I sometimes wish more people could be as open minded as you. The best of luck hun!!

Welshbugger – glad you booked your app for your smear. Yes, the chances are they’ll ask you to wait, which I think is wise. If you get yourself prepared for September then if its then, you wont be disappointed but if its sooner it’s a bonus! Yes, the bloody cow still hasn’t shown….and yes, I’ll be very similar to you. I phone the clinic on the first day, they send me out my prescription and I start the meds 21 days later. The only thing they don’t do is the FSH test on day 2/3. should they??? Ooohh, had a look at your pics on your myspace…..good on you!! The one picture with the details of why you were running brought tears to my eyes!! I take my hat off to you though, I couldn’t do it!!

Lara – your post made me laugh. Yes, hoping to be injecting and sniffering again soon!! Thanks for the af jig…I need it!! Glad you got your leak sorted out….what a palava, eh?

Jen1d – hheeeeeeyyyyyy hun!!!! All the way from big b!!! that is so cool that you have internet access for free!! Glad everything is like its meant to be!

Babyblue – thanks hun! You can tell I had time yesterday, cant you?

Karia – glad you got things sorted with dh and are going again with your own eggs. Best of luck hun!!

Carolyn – haha….did think I’d asked you that question before but couldn’t remember for definite. Sorry! Fair enough, don’t worry about it. Was just wondering!! The way I’m going with my AF I reckon we might be exactly the same with our dates!!

Gill – hello!! Hope you had a nice bath….oohh, actually, maybe I’ll go and have one in a mo….

Hi to everyone else I have missed!!

Well as for me, still waiting on AF. Did an HPT this morning, which was obviously negative but just wanted to rule that out. Come on AF I need you!!!! Anybody, please feel free to do a jig for me!!!! She needs to show her face by the 16th June, otherwise my EC and ET will fall into my holiday ban at work, which will make things very stressful and very awkward for me!! Ggrrrr..

Shantala:
Hiya hun, im doing the jiggy at work for u - she is a ***** and better show her face soon for u - its always when we want her to show that she is a right old tart!!! Are u still off sick from work? Hope ur feeling better soon hun xxx
Anyway im jigging for ur AF as much as i can, its a bit difficult as the baby is here yet again - and im so tired the past few days (my AF always takes it out of me - low in iron etc) and now i have to watch him. I sound so selfish, but i wasnt employed to look after the baby (ironically itts the woman's who's job im covering on maternity leave) im not a pigging nanny! Im an office administrator and general dogs bloody body!!!!

Phew - got that off my chest lol

I was thinking the other day that i wish i had written down how i felt on my last tmt so i could look back this time and compare like, then hey presto, i had an idea - i searched back to Sept hopes and dreams and cut and pasted ALL my postings, i was really surprised to remember i actually felt like that - i had forgtten most of what i was feeling. It was sad to reading when i got my BFN, and DH said to me - dont u go getting weepy now - but i couldnt help it  I saved all the postings and dates, so will print them off and keep for future tmt so i know what to expect. Only thing was tho, i didnt join untill about 3 weeks into my tmt, so those 3 weeks are all a bit of a blurr lol!

Still great idea for anyone else who is thinking of keeping a journal of their tmt ......

Catch u later ladies,

Becky Xxxx

Hi Ladies,
Hope you are all well.

Well I have been given a small lifeline, the health trust have an exeptions panel to revue couples on the waiting list. I spoke to the administrater and she said they meet every thursday and i may have a better chance due to the miscarraiges combined with my age. we have to write a letter stating our case and then cross everything for good news. My consultants secretary said don't get your hopes up though as he is on the panel and she writes all the letters back and not many get accepted. The galling part of it all is had it not been suspended i would be due my treatment right now. Anyway got to get my letter hat on, luckily DH is amazing at letter writing so i will just asist.
will write to you all soon, got to get back to work.
take care

Well have just returned from our app at the clinic, it took 2 and a half hours. Feel really positive as we have a 60% chance of a bfp, but am also realistic and know we may have to try again although lets hope we wont have to do a fet
Doc was lovely, so helpful and patient as she answered our 1001 questions----poor woman.
They carried out a few tests and did the scan plus a mock transfer. Now have a bundle of medi and can start next af, July

Gill - Will answer all your questions when i get back. The hotel is beside good shopping tho

Hello,

how are you all doing today? am feeling better but not sure how I'll cope with a full day's work starting tomorrow. Gotten used to watching day time telly the past 3 days :P

Hey Jen - so glad you are finally in Big B. Really excited for you. Keep us informed on your progress.

Carolyn - good on you for doing that shopping. You deserve it. Only 2 weeks to go huh??? Last time I logged on, you were disappointed about things being pushed back cause of work. See how fast time has flown by......soon we'll all be crossing our fingers for your 2ww.

Welshgirl, congrats on your run. Good accomplishment. I really feel inspired to start running, but not sure if I can do it. Why do you have to watch a baby in your job???????? Its outrageous.

Shantala - tried doing a jig for you, only my stitches are still sore from my lap. Has it arrived yet?? Hope you're feeling better. Wish I could do smilies like you can.

Gill - sorry to hear about the diabetes. Someone very close to me found out 5 years back. After the initial shock and adjustments, he is dealing with it so well. The way he looks at it is that nature has forced him to be healthy. You'll soon be off to Barcelona, won't you?

Gecko - sorry about the eggs hun. It will take a while to come to terms with it, but you will still be a mum, and a fantastic one at that!!! The baby will grow in you and you will have the bond from conception. And go through pregnancy and give birth. Keep up your enthusiasm.

Lara - your af here yet? Don't even get me started on weight loss. Was doing fine until last week and then my nervousness for the lap and then the recovery itself has thrown my diet out of the window. DH thought he was being helpful by bringing my fave cakes/ biscuits. Bless his soul, but I really wanted to scream.

Karia - welcome to this thread. Hope your appointment goes well on 20th. Also hope the tension between you and DH eases.

beachbaby - what have you planned for DH's 40th? Have a great time!

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Been away for too long, so will take a while to catch up.

Sorry ladies but this will be real rushed. I have 9 mins before my internet connection goes down or I need to buy another hour!!!! It is already 10.30pm and need to be up early for my flight home.

Just had to come on and see whether there was news from Jen1d.

And there is - mesage from Jen. WHHOOOHHOOOOO. The clinics exists. That is good news for Gill too. That is a good start!! 60% chance. I'd take that. I am down around 10% with my darn old eggs. They are nice and answered your questions. Another positive. You can get started on your July AF. WOW

What a trip you must have had with your dh. And it happens to be a lovely city.

So pleased that it all when went. I calced that Dubia was 3 hours ahead of Big B - think I got it wrong and it is only 2pm. Idiot. Thought of you at 6.30pm here. But that was 4.30pm so you were still in the appointment. Sent you all the positive vines I could muster.

I am jigging in Dubai for both Rachel and for Shantala.

Becky - how is the diet going? Guess that it has been hard with your holiday

Angel - you are right. Somehow comes around faster for everyone else than it does for each of us. Hope that you are recovering after the lap. Sounds like it went well. Does not take long to heal hun

Gill - Jen's news must be great encoiuragement for your trip to Big B. Sure that she will be giving you the full low down

ARRRGGG. Two mins left. Better post or else will lose what I have typed.

Work went really well out here. They may want me back for more. More shopping!!!! Hopefully in the Autumn and not sooner. Not going to let anything mess up tmt now

Hugs and love to you all. Will do a full update when back at home sweet home tomorrow.

hello hello hello...... sorry been mia!!! And so much to catch up upon but just a quick few posts!!

Becky - congratulations darling well done for completing race for life - so proud of you

Jen - sorry I missed you before you went, but I wish you all the luck in the world in Barcelona - have toes and fingers crossed for you.

Rachel - welcome back from hols - hope you had a fabulous time and are chilled and relaxed.

Shantala - I'm doing a wee jig for you honey - come on AF !!

Well, I had my scan this morning and wait for it......beanie has a heartbeat....yyyyyeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! I cried as I was so happy!!
They did an external scan on me, which I wasn't expecting so had an empty bladder  normally have internals so was prepared...never mind so they squeezed hard and in the layers of warm comforting fat they found beanie and you could just about make out the flicker of the heart. They reckon on the size that I'm 6wks 4days, which completely throws out my calculations.

They were happy, I was happy, DH was happy so now they have said be on your way and continue as normal.

Have been absolutely flat out at work and worst thing is doing some trials which means I in at 7am and not leaving til late so shattered hence lack of posts as going straight to bed (although not necessarily straight to sleep, hooked on BB already :D !!)

Sorry have missed so many personals but will endeavour to read tomorrow and post again.

love to all

Jackie, Super Duper on the scan!!! Even the slightest heart beats can bring on the happiest of tears. So happy for you and dh.

What does tmt stand for? I looked on the abbreviation thread but this one is not defined.
