me2009 -yippee for an end in sight! 9+ is a great number!

franny -You can call me anytime! hopefully you have Verizon too, cause i have a funny feeling that if we got on the phone it would be for hours! who's talking about a get together? I want in! I think that nurse lazy pants assumed that if she didnt hear from the lab, I must not have went. (as if i'd risk a cycle due to something so small as b/w!) I think thats why she called me first. Which doesnt make sense to me - after all these cycles with same nurses / clinic have I ever once been late w/ a 2 hr drive? NO. have I ever called her confused about my meds or schedule? NO. Have I ever whined or needed hand holding? NO. So why am I now on the flaky patient list? OH, because Quest lab, doesnt understand that stat does not mean 4 days later  I give up.
wish you much happiness in injection land tomorrow! Remember that every cycle is different, you 'll be fine. I know what you mean though
after being cancelled you have this fear of it happening again - RELAX!
you'll be poking your self tom. night! :D

Dodo -I totally agree with Skylar he's better off taking his antibiotics. You both will take antibiotics (Doxycycline) before transfer
You cant risk a poor sample due to increased temp. Prayers for your puppy's surgery tomorrow! 15 years old? God bless!

Chris -Are you hiding on us? Is it because we talk too much?
Hopefully you're keeping busy during the dreaded 2ww 8)

lulu - Did you go to ER yet? crossed for lots of eggs!

Cheeky -much love & luck tomorrow, my friend! - xoxo

honeybunny -You have loads of support here. The 2ww is awful! Might as well stick around - these girls have a way of making this process SO much better! :D

Skylar -I must have you're info wrong on the list (unless you're stimming for 3 weeks!) he he - When do you start stims?

Teachermom -it was me! I get the chocolate w/ every med box. They send plain hershey's kisses, you would think that with how much was spent on meds for this year (OUCH!) that they'd at least send the kisses w/ almonds! It is a shame that we're all so far away, could you imagine if we all went out what the conversations would be like? A flippin riot, even w/ fake drinks! When is your beta?

it's getting imposible to respond to everyone - just know that you are all in my thoughts & prayers! - xoxo

Katie: What an horrible nurse you have, glad you are getting ride of her soon! I am sure she is not on hormones, is she BLOND??? I just did my triger shot tonight, ER is on Sat 11/14. I have 10 follies, 7 around the same size Very nervous right now I freak out for everything, poor DH! :?

olim78: Congrats on 15 embies, sorry that you are not feeling well. Cabergoline is a dopamine agonist, it works by reducing the amount of prolactin (a hormone) that is released from the pituitary gland. It is used for prevention of OHSS. It doesn't suppose to reduce pregnancy rate, but check with your ER to make sure. Get well soon, focus on all your beautiful embies.

albany07: Thanks for the recipe, sounds delicious! :)

teachermom: Good luck with your ET tomorrow, got everything crossed for you! :D :D Tons of sticky baby dust :D :D

All the ladies on Stims: Grow follies Grow!!!

Franny - Nope... I live in Chicago on a street named Albany. It has great significance in my life though, as I grew up on the same street one block away. Now, I am back here in my adult life and see many of my childhood friends children running up and down the streets as we once did. I can't wait to add our own to the mix!!!

Well girls, it seems like many have and are getting ready to ER, ET and 2ww. Man, IVF time does move fast. Except for the 2ww ladies (sorry)!!!

Baby dust sprinkles to all and best wishes!

dodo928 wrote:hi ladies, I need some advises. my DH just went to see his ENT doc. He just had a nasal polyps removed surgery done 2 months ago. He went back to find out that the area get swollen and red. His doc prescribed him antibiotic. Now, he told me that he's not going to take the antibiotic until his sperms were taken to the RE's lab next week. But if he's infection, the sperms will get infected too. Right! He told me that he's no infection, but only red and swollen. But ENT doc wouldn't prescribe him antibiotics if it's not infected. If the doc prescribed him today, that means he's infection. Am I right?
My 15 years old shihtzu stayed overnight at the vet. and will have a surgery tomorrow with general anesthetia.
I feel so overwhelming nervous.

he NEEDS to take his Antib.

My husband had to anti too. he will be fine!!

Turtle: I'm the same. Everytime I have to go to RE appointment, I will have difficulty in sleeping the night before. I am just nervous and afraid of hearing bad news from RE. I tried taking melotinin supplement but still doesn't help. But everytime after the RE appointment, I'll have a good sleep no matter anything is going wrong. It's the uncertainty that makes me nervous.

Katie: I asked my RE before about the Doxy because I don't see my DH requires to take it. RE reconfirmed us that DH doesn't need to take unless he's transmitted disease. If he's no fever and his blood pressure is fine, he doesn't want to take antibiotics for now.

Antibiotics

Post by albany07 »

I agree with taking the antibiotics, he should definitely take them. Better safe than sorry!!! Infection can severely affect count, morphology and motility! They get confused and start doing the backstroke and stuff!LOL

OK, So this is unpleasant but here goes:

AF came to see me before my beta, so I knew (well, pretty much knew) that I was going to get a BFN, which I did. Last night, I noticed two masses when I was changing my "feminine products". This has happened only once before EVER, and it was after one of my IUIs, and I had really heavy cramping as well and my DR said she thought I could have had an early miscarriage. She told me to take a HPT, which would still have showed positive if I miscarried, but it was negative, so she said I didn't. They said there was no way that the masses could have been the previously growing embryos, and were most likely just blood clots. Just wanted to check to see if any of you had experienced this before.

Next: Work on improving DH and my fertility while saving up for next round. Why does something that we want so badly have to also be so expensive?

BRMommy2B - I am so sorry for the news. *hugs*

I am reading everyone's status and am hoping and praying for you all. I dont have time to leave personal comments for everyone but my heart is with you all.

My update:

Counting down to the BIG test on Tuesday. I am trying not to think about it too much and THANKFULLY I have a mini trip with some girl friends this weekend to help me keep my mind off of worrying!

Uggg so my friend called me and let me know that she is pregnant... she has known this guy for a few weeks. Never even been to his house. News like this hurts so deeply when DH and I have been together for over 8 years and TTC for over 2. Oh well, I guess God has a plan and it all works out in the end... right??

Firefly, I feel you! I've been with the hubby for almost 12yrs, and nothing. His brother got with a friend of mine for a few months now and she keeps worrying "omg, i think i might be pregnant...i hope on not pregnant...i dont want to have a baby yet.." I'm like..."look, biatch...if your ass don't want babies (like how most of us here is praying for) then you need to prevent it from happening! Don't just continue to do the naughty w/out protection and then hope you wont be pregnant!" Gets me so angry. I swear... I told her to that I will drop kick her if she is before me. Cause I'm going to give my Mom in law their first grand child, not the girl that just got with the other son for a few months!

Breathe...wuuusaaaahhh...

on a good note - relax, try not to think about it too much and good luck on tuesday!!
