I've been trying to figure out how to get pictures on here. I thought I would show everyone the embryo pic I got on ET. I'm sure everyone knows what embryos look like but I'd thought I would share.

for those of you who either just had e/r and/or e/t or are about too--GOOD LUCK!!!!

Sounds like everyone is progressing pretty well w/ their cycles.

I am hoping that my e/r will be next weekend--just easier than trying to take time out of work (if I don't show, I don't get paid and I don't want to let on what I am doing, anyway).

Go in for b/w and u/s, but I would expect that I will continue stimming for a little while more b/c I haven't even done the ganerlix yet.

Thanks for the good wishes aims. :D

Irish - I have about 2 more hours before I trigger, but DONT STRESS about the IM shots! As I recall from my last cycle, they really aren't that bad. I will ice for about 3 minutes before trigger and PIO shots and then won't even feel it going in. Last cycle DH got some dixie cups and filled them up with water and then froze them, so all I had to do was pull one out of the freezer every night, tear off the top 1/2 inch or so of the cup to expose the ice, and presto! And if you're worried, I asked my nurse today if icing was ok and she confirmed it was perfectly fine. :D

ok...we're going to order a movie...so I gotta go! hugs...

corny ~ best of luck tomorrow!!!

This will be short for me. I'm triggering tonight and am scheduled for ER on Tuesday AM. We don't have many follies to work with, so please pray that they all produce! We are excited, but I think DH is scared to death to give me my trigger shot. Let's hope he doesn't chicken out!

I hope you are all doing well and having a good weekend!!! Hopefully I can post more tomorrow!

Good luck to all your trigger ladies!!! I am praying for LOTS and LOTS of eggs. I mean heck it's almost Easter.. We need some EGGS!

Y'all will do great. Get tons of rest and let us know how you are when you're up and moving again.

To us stimmers.. I hope everyone is getting great results.. and for those of us that are slower.. Slow and steady wins the race!!! That's my new moto LOL

Hello Ladies,

I was hoping to join in. I am new on here but not to all this infertility stuff :-)..
We are starting our 1st IVF cycle. I started Lupron on 2/11. So ER/ET should be first half of March.

Anyone else at CRMI, Cornell??

I have a question.. was anyone instructed to take Estradiol or any sort of estrogen? A g.f. of mine also IVF-ing elsewhere has been on it for a month.. I was never told a thing about it.. just hoping I am not missing anything :-)

Thanks, good luck to all!!

Hi Ladies..

Hope you all had a great weekend. I finally started stims friday. It has not been bad so far. The first day FSH shot really stung for atleast 30-40minutes, had to put an ice pack to feel better. this was the first time I loaded the cartridge and had a big droplet of the med on the needle when I gave the shot - I am wondering if that had anything to do with the sting. Has anyone else felt that? Thanks the last 2 days have been fine - no sting. I am going for some b/w tomorrow.

Sue - welcome to the group. I haven't had to take Estradiol yet and haven't been told that I might have to take it. I guess everyones protocols are a bit different.

Cathann, cornybaby - good luck with the ER and hoping for lot of embies for you both :) .. cornybaby what is PUPO (I am still trying to remember all these abbreviations!)?

RunnerKate - hope ER today went well and you are getting a lot of rest.

Wow! Good luck Cathan, RunnerKate, Cornybaby - lots of eggies & rest!

My bloodwork yesterday I have no clue what it means but came back over 1,000 so they lowered by Gonal F dose by half and I have more bloodwork and ultrasound at 815 this morning.

Anyone know if over 1000 (I think it's Estradol) they are looking at is bad/good? I think it means the stims are working...?

Welcome Su - you'll find great support and encouragement here!

Aims - how you doing w the 2ww? are you going to POAS?

I had to look up PUPO - Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise!

irish ~ I'm pretty sure that's your estrogen level. My clinic said high estrogen (over 1000) is good!! Looks like your meds are working!

indie ~ Best of luck with your stims...my first one stung as well, but they get better as you go. I found that if you push the medicine slowly it doesn't hurt as much.

Sue ~ Welcome! Best of luck to ya!

Kate & corny ~ how are ya'll??

I had my trigger shot last night...I was scared to death b/c I had heard that it hurts. DH was even more scared to give it to me! Anyway, I don't know what we did but it I didn't feel a thing (until about 10 minutes after and that wasn't bad...just like a muscle cramp). SO, for those of you who are worried....you'll be just fine!

Hope you all are doing well. I'm jealous of those of you who are off of work today. We're gearing up for ER tomorrow. Did anyone go back to work the next day?? I'm wondering if I should clear my schedule for Wednesday. Any advice?

Cathann~ Thank you Thank you Thank you for saying that the trigger shot wasn't that bad. I have been so scared (i've been having trouble sleeping, obsessed with thinking about the butt shot/s) My DH has been giving me the lupron, follistim and menopur, and as long as I keep my eyes shut I've been ok with those. I totally fear the unknown. I wonder if the trigger shot is the same as the shot i got at my doctors when I took clomid. ? I don't ask enough questions I guess. Does anyone know how many shots come after the lupron/follistim and menopur?
