The nurse was like WOW...yeh I did good huh haha. So does anyone know at what point after the trigger you ACTUALLY O? I know 36 hrs is the standard for doing the iui or ER...but I still fee a little bit and it is now 39 hrs Do your ovaries still hurt after you O for a bit or after they pop does the pain go away?
I didn't feel it every month but when I did it was about 40-42 hours after trigger. Whether that's actually ovulation or before or after I don't know, sorry

Angie - it's so good to have you back, we missed you

Chris - I hope you're having a better day today

Becky - well done on doing the race for life. I wanted to do it a couple of years ago but was too late applying. I hope you get good news on the interview soon.

Stephjim - hope you're feeling better.

Hi to everyone else. Sorry, I really feel like I've lost track of everyone since the breakdown. Will catch up properly soon.

I had my hospital appointment today and it was really good. The doctor was lovely and really made me feel she had all the time in the world for me even tho' I knew they were short staffed and busy. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. She was careful to warn me that it might be too early and not to be concerned if she couldn't find it but it came through really strong straight away, absolutely amazing :D

Hello lovely ladies!!!

Hope, I wasnt offended by the pic. I though it was funny!!!

ICSI- looks like your back full time. So happy!!!

OMG SU! That is amazing. So happy for you. I cannot even imagine hearing my babies heartbeat the first time. Congrats!!

Ok, with all this ovary talk, I have a question. Did you girls feel your ovaries ovulate even when there was no meds involved?

How is everyone?

Awwwwww SU -- that's amazing that you got to hear your baby's heart beat!!! Image coolest thing ever!! glad you like your "new" doctor at the hospital.....always a bonus!!!

miracle -- your question regarding ovaries......before i ever started this whole IVF stuff --- my AF was SO normal...completely routine....never in my life skipped one......NEVER had monthly cramps/issues....would have never even known it was there (except for the obvious).....THEN, after my round one -- which was august 07 --- every AF that has followed, i can TOTALLY feel "stuff" -- so it's all very new to me, but after talking to some of my other friends -- i have one really good friend that says she not only can FEEL her ovaries -- that she can feel WHICH SIDE activity going on!!! says she's always been able to - long as she can remember.....

hope all you gals have a FAB weekend!!!! dh and i have lots on our agenda so i'm not sure i'll be around.......so BE GOOD and try not to break the board again!!! (steph, su, hope.....miss pointy fingers!!!!) :P

Hiya! Im much the same as our Angie - never knew a thing before my first IVF - my periods were always about 3 to 5 days late, very painful (still are) but now - each mth i get spotting for about 2 to 3 days before hand (very dark blood) sorry tmi - but u did ask lol and every time i ovulate - jeeze i know all about it - i can feel my ovaries ache like mad and i am convinced that i can fell the egg 'pop' also i get like a clear disharge (like egg white - without the yolk LOL) it took 38 years for me to know when i ovulate - good ole IVF eh?

Rachel: Hun try not to worry too much (easier said than done i knw) is there anything ur allowed to eat to get ur iron back up - liver is good (can u stomach it) i had to take iron tablets too when i was pregnant with my 2nd - got awful constipation - summit i didnt need along with the piles  anyway - take it easy and dont worry ok, the baby is healthy enough - even if she is measuring +2 weeks, they can never tell these days and giv u an exact date - please hun, try not to stress - it wont be too much longer i promise :) xxxx

Im shatterd tonight ladies, after just one glass of wine (i know im meant to be being good and eating/drinking healthy) i gave up this evening and opened a bottle, had a nice fillet steak for our tea (dinner) and for desert we had strawberry cheesecake with ice cream  now im stuffed and look like two ton tess lol... Anyway ladies cheers to u all ....

Image

I think i'll drink to our good health and happiness, our DH's for putting up with us  and of course - baby dust to us all (am i the only one who really doesnt understand that term - baby dust - wtf has dust got to do with babies - i mean i know about fairy dust and all that - but i dont want a bloody fairy - i want a baby) anyway ... im starting to ramble on now, that's the wine talking <hic> i start to worry when it starts to sing lol ...

Rity oh - suppose i better go - jeeze its warm in this house tonight, either that or its the wine again lol - if i go back into living room and strip off DH will think his luck is in - actually - maybe it is   later aligator!

Becky Xxxx

Becky, enjoy your wine. I am trying to be good even during the BCP phase. Plus I need to lose some of this fertility med weight.

Ok, guys I am attempting to color my hair myself. I have been getting it highlighted but my hair dresser that has been with me for almost 9 years is way to expensive to be going to her every 8 weeks so let's keep our fingers crossed that I did not f&**&^^^k it up.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I had a few glum moments today, but other than that I am fine. My stomach has been a little crazy again today. Maybe it is the BCP. Who knows.

Talk to everyone tonight I will be on most of the night.
