So much to talk about! I'll just get right to it.

Donna, that is crazy what you've been through the past couple of days! I'm so sorry. I'm very glad to hear they are doing another beta. You know we're anxiously awaiting the results.

Michele, so many embies! That's fabulous! Congrats.

Courtney, 5 eggs! You should be very proud. :)

SDtrying, I can't imagine going through IVF during residency while buying a house. You are maxed out on stressful events. Hope your finding time to sleep! Are you excited about your new house? I'm excited for you. What year of residency are you in? How many years left? Our cycles are close. When do you start stim? (Sorry if you posted it already. I can't scroll back that far.)

JesJes, thanks for updating the list especially while on bedrest.

Jeanie, Sameera, sounds like you girls are handling things as well as can be expected. I know we wish there was a way to tell immediately. I'm sending you lot of baby vibes!

Joe, congrats on the beta. Have they scheduled an U/S yet?

DrJen, sounds like you are very busy, too! Glad to hear the u/s and bw went well. Hope your DH recovers quickly.

jharris, glad you no longer feel overwhelmed by the meds. :) I take the lupron shots in the thigh. (I have generic lupron also, but lupron is much easier to type than leuprolide acetate :) ) How did you first shot go?

turtlesonastump, I'm taking lupron and follistim as well. Sorry I can't be of help.

I found a couple of rental houses that look promising. I'm making a trip to see them on Sunday. I've resorted to pitching what good tenants we'd be to convince landlords not to rent the houses to someone else before I get a change to see them. Hope on of them works out!

My baseline u/s and bw are tomorrow. I didn't have one before I started lupron. If all goes well, I'll start follistim on Friday. Yipeee!

To all those I missed, BABY DUST!

Hi Everyone,
I joined this thread 2 weeks ago, was absent for about a week and I can't keep up!!!!

Rubylee,
Good luck tomorrow starting your Lupron...nothing to it!! I'll be starting mine just a few hours earlier here on the east coast! Have a safe trip home....

Donna,
So sorry to hear about the emotional rollercoaster you've been on...I had a similar situation last time, was getting faint positives, snuck to my primary care MD for my physical a few days before my beta, got a positive blood test, then had a negative beta! Keep the faith...it sounds like you trust in the Lord, which is the only way, and remember all things are possible thru Him. I'll be praying for you...

It's so wonderful to hear that many of you are Christians in this thread; it's so difficult, but we have to remember that the fate of our pregnancies lie in His hands, and we are just living out His plan!

JesJes,
My ER should be around 5/20...same schedule as Rubylee
:P
Goodnight Everyone and God Bless!

Hi Yellow- you are so sweet for giving me sympathy, it made me feel better :) I know we all have so much going on, so props to all of us for being so committed to our kids BEFORE they're even born! :D I'm completely a combined program in Family Medicine and Psychiatry. It's a five year program and this is my last year (Thank God!). I'm taking my psychiatry boards on June 10th, so hopefully I'll be dealing with some morning sickness through the exam!! This week we made a lot of progress in getting some of the contingencies removed to close on our house, so hopefully we'll close mid-May and move end of May. It'll be perfect because I won't "be allowed" to move any boxes! Poor DH will be handling the move.

Good luck to you tomorrow with your baseline and u/s (mine is friday). I can't believe how close we are! This is your first time too, right? I'm sorry I'm having trouble remembering. Make sure you post about every detail so I can always know what my tomorrow will look like :)

I'm nervous about stim'ing, how bout you?

Everyone else: I'm thinking of you all, particularly the couple of you who've had some bad news. I'm sending you lots of love. To those on the 2ww I'm sending you sicky vibes. We have 1 BFP for the group so far, correct? Yeah!!! more to come for all of us!!!

Not much new here, 3dp5dt and I poas and its finally negative, so if I get a positive next week I'll know its real and not the trigger shot.

It amazes me how many pages can get added in less than 24 hours!! A lot going on it looks like!!

Courtney: That's fantastic! Congratulations on those numbers! So when is the transfer, and how many do you plan to transfer? Good luck!!

Jes: Not much longer! I hope the time flies for you! Sending good thoughts your way!

Sameera: I know what you mean. Hard to keep up with all the new happenings. I've starting taking notes as I read! The 28th will be here before you know it! Good luck to you!

Yellow: How was your US? And yes, Lupron is so much easier to type! And everyone knows what it is!

Donna: We are all here for you. Sounds like you have been on a crazy roller coaster lately! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To everyone else, hope you are all doing good. I took my first Lupron shot last night. It wasn't too bad, I think I can take it for a good cause! I think my DH enjoyed giving me the shot a little bit too much! He actually did a really good job. I figured since he's diabetic and takes 4 shots a day himself, he would know what he's doing! And he did! OK, back to work. I guess I need to check in more often so I don't get so far behind!

Thanks ladies!

Yellow: How did the baseline go? DId your nurse let you know how many antral follies you have?

Sameera: I am thinking about you...4 more days!!

SDTrying: Good luck tomorrow. The baseline is a breeze!! We just had the retreival yesterday, so wont know much about quality until tomorrow. THe embryologist said we will probably do a 3dt, they want to use assisted hatching as well.

JesJes: Congrats on the negative...as weird as that is to say! :D That is a good idea for POAS addicts, causes less confusion later. I think I will do it too!!! :D Oh, and I will beta test on 5/7.

Jharris: As of now, we will transfer on Saturday. I am hoping of the 5, to have 2 good quality embies. But that is my problem, egg quality and quanity. So I have everything crossed right now!!

DrJen: I do feel like I have been kicked in the stomach. Very sore. The embryologist explained this morning that the follicles fill back up with blood and fluid, so the soreness and cramping could continue for several weeks.

Donna: i hate you are going through this. You keep taking that progesterone until you are 100% convinced it is BFN. I remember a girl from the Feb/Mar thread, Cornybaby, she was told it was a negative...had very low beta. RE told her to stop taking the progesterone, she refused and demanded more beta tests. Sure enough she was BFP and is having identical twins. hang in there.

turtlesonastump:I was on a micro-dose Lupron protocal, 20mg twice a day only one day longer than I took the stims. I started out on 275u of Follistim, and that was increased to 350u. But my protocal is probably much different than everyone elses bc I have high FSH, doesnt seem to be a lot of high FSHers on this thread!! Best of luck, time flies once you start!

Hope i didnt miss anyone, you ladies are so hard to keep up with!!!

The ultrasound this morning went very well -- thin lining, lots of small follicles. Thanks for the good wishes. I'm waiting for the estrogen results to come back, then I'll know for sure if I start stims on Friday. OMG, that's tomorrow. YAY!

Courtney, congrats on your fertilization! That's fantastic! Grow embies! The nurse didn't count the antral follicles. She just said lots. I wish she would have counted them 'cause I love knowing everything that's going on. Oh well. I'll have to live with "lots." :)

SDtrying, good luck on your baseline tomorrow. Should be a piece of cake. I think I was in and out in about 20 minutes. I am nervous about starting stimmin' too. I shouldn't be. This is actually my 3rd cycle. Stimming isn't really that bad. There is A LOT of bloating and it gets uncomfortable. Do you get to wear scrubs? That would make life easier. :) My DH is just finishing a radiology fellowship. I remember when he was studying for the boards -- not a fun time for either of us. You are a very strong woman. I am so grateful that there are women like you in the world. You should be very proud. Can't wait to hear how your baseline goes tomorrow.

Sameera, bloating is a good sign. Keep up the positive thoughts.

JesJes, when will you start testing again? Maybe I'll try your method this time, too.

jharris, glad to hear the lupron wasn't too bad. I didn't really have any side effects. I know a lot women do, but at least there's a chance you won't have the headaches and moodiness. :) Let us know how your feeling. I'm thinking about you.

I love reading about everyone's progress. Take care of yourselves!

How did your beta go at the CC? I have been thinking about you all morning, praying you get a different result from them.

Hey girls,

Not much new to report here. A few symptoms that I asked Ghost about. Very tired, some lower back pain, a weird craving yesterday, etc... (opinions?)

Other than that we're 3 days past ET.

Wanted to wish you all the best and tell you we're thinking of each of you and your families.

:)

Hi, everyone - thanks for all of your well wishes and encouragement! This 2ww is murder but I am incredibly busy this week with work so that is good! I don't really feel any cramping anymore - not sure if that is good or not. The week before my period I usually get horrible cramps so I'll just take this as a good sign for now.

I bought out CVS in HPT today - not sure why. Today I am 7dp3dt so I shouldn't event get a positive if I am pregnant.....right?

DrJen - You have boxers? So do I! I have 2 - Kobe (10 yrs) and Moe (1 yr.) They are the loves of my life (besides my husband, of course).

Someone (can't remember who) was asking about protocols...I took Lupron for 3 weeks (didn't get AF until last day of second week). I then took Gonal-F 225 IU for 6 days and 150 IU for 4 days. On the 11th day I took Ovidrel and then started Prometrium the evening of my ER. I didn't react well to the Prometrium so I switched to a newer drug called Endometrin two days ago. It's much better and not nearly as messy. Anyone else taking it??

Hope everyone is doing well and remaining positive. Good luck with your beta on Monday Sameera!!

I posted on the other thread about Adriana's symptoms. They are from the progesterone. It makes us all feel pregnant even if we aren't...its evil that way! ANyhow, good luck to you...also since you don't know all the lingo yet, you are:

3dp3dt ~ 3 days past 3 day transfer. That will help people understand symptoms better knowing what kind of transfer.

Good Luck to you both!

BTW~ Is she going to poas?
