Hi guys,

I'M SO SORRY, I've been MIA... :( I have to make a short post, because I have to go to bed, it's really late. But I've been thinking about you guys and sending you positive vibes...

Ericka and Amy, I'm really sorry that the HPTs were disappointing... I really hope this was all misleading and that you'll still get good news with your betas... hang in there girls... I always feel better after I know the result for sure, so I wish you the same... *HUGS**HUGS**HUGS*

Kim,
Aw, don't be nervous sweetie! It will be all right! :D Do tell us about how it went though!

Kldavis,
WELCOME! :D 2ww is hard, especially at the end, but we're here with you!

Good night ladies,

kldavis -

Welcome to the hell that is the 2ww! ;) I've given myself a progesterone shot a couple of times when DH and I both forgot before he left for work (I work from home). I'm left handed so I did it in my left buttock with relative ease. I haven't had to try the leg yet but I understand you only push the needle in halfway.

Baby dust to you!

Kldavis:
Welcome to the 2WW. It is such a hard time, with emotions swinging all over the place. Analyzing every little thing your body does. We can all relate!!

Kerpupples and Ericka:
I don't know about you, but this day is just dragging by waiting for someone to call with my results.

Official BFN here. :(

I'm so mad at my clinic I could spit. I just had to call them for the results! WTF!!!!! They said my chart was on my RE's desk and the door was closed so they didn't want to go in to get it. Well whoever put it there needed to call me! If there were any advantage to switching clinics before another FET I think we'd do it, but I understand the freezing process is a big factor in FET. I think we'll thaw the rest of our 6 frosties next round and have them but every viable one back. If that doesn't work, we're moving on.

I'll be watching and sending baby dust to the rest of you!

Kerpupples:
I am so sorry, I can't believe you had to hunt them down for your results! So maddening!! I didn't get my call until 4pm. I was a basket case when they called. I am so sorry you got a BFN. I would stay with your clinic (IMO) and use your frosties. I am not sure if I shared with you, my frosties were in California and we live in AZ. We moved, and I just didn't want to tranfer the embies down here. I hope your next cycle gives you a BFP. I went back to back on my FET's, and I am glad.

Ericka, did you get your results???

I did get my beta today and it was 332. I was very excited. However, my progesterone levels were only 9....gulp. I go back Wednesday in hopes that everything looks good. Why on earth would my progesterone be so low? Do we ever get to stop worrying?

Hugs and Baby Dust,
Kim

Kerpupples.. so sorry for your bfn. you will be in my prayers.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Beta is scheduled for 8/19, but I will be working out of town. Will be home on 8/21.. could test then, but AF may beat me to it if it is BFN. I guess I could test out of town... but not sure I could handle the news without dh being near. So basically, I will have to wait 2 xtra days... if I cant figure out something else.
The lab called today with my progesterone and est results so far.... estr is 262 and progesterone is 27.6.. RE has protocol of 1:10 ration for est and progest, and I fit in that ratio. Anyone know if 27.6 progesterone is low??????

Kim Congrats on your Beta!!!

Hello ladies,

kerpupples,
I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN... :(:(:(:( Your clinic was just RUDE!!! They DO know that we're going crazy when we're waiting for the results, they should have NO excuse!! How hard is it to knock, apologize for interrupting, and take a darn file????? I understand your dilemma dear... before my clinic changed their protocol, we considered moving our frosties to another clinic. But indeed, it's VERY complicated... you have to plan the transport very carefully, and I'm sure it's expensive. So... we made the same decision. My thoughts go to you and DH, and I'll keep everything crossed for you guys. Hang in there... *HUGS*

Kim,
Great beta girl! Congratulations again! :D I wouldn't worry too much about progesterone dear. My clinic does not measure it. They don't even do a 2nd beta because they know too many numbers make pregnant women freak out and worry too much. You're doing all you can right now, taking your meds and everything.... and your body is doing its best at the moment; so is your little beanie. Beyond that, there's nothing more you can do sweetie.

kldavis,
awwwwwwwww, that's a tricky one!!!! Waiting TWO more days, ouch!!!! I really hope that AF won't show and that you'll almost have your answer by then! :D:D:D I'm the same... usually, AF shows up one or two days before beta. Hang in there sweetie! You're almost there! :D

As for me, the ultrasound went well. My FET will be on Thursday. Tomorrow, they'll thaw four of our frosties. They'll call on Thursday morning to tell us how many survived and when the transfer will be (usually around 11am). I'll keep you posted! :D

Take care ladies,

Sophie xxox

Sophie:
Thanks for the nice message. I am excited that your ET is tomorrow, and you will be PUPO!!
I really appreciate your comments regarding the progesterone. I could barely sleep last night worrying about it.
