HI all,
Hope everyone is doing fine this weekend. Our little bellies are starting to show aren't they? I don't care if it is hormones, gas or a growing uterus: I dress pregnant and that makes me happy as happy can be! I didn't fit on any of my buttonned and zippered stuff anyways

I placed a "do not touch" sing on my bra. Bubbies are bigger and plummier but...so sensitive! I may change the sign to "be kind" later on.
Thank you all for the shared info on car seats. We need to geat ready$$$$!
Carissa, I have checked the prices and the ecological problems of diapers and decided to go 100% cotton. I did this long time ago, with my older children and it worked very well. I didn't even had the luxury of a dryer.
I may be cheaper, better for the baby skin and it won't clog the landfills for three centuries. I am open to other ideas but for now that is what we are considerning more seriuosly.
Dear Siouxie, I hope the joy of a healthy heartbeat helps you and DH to heal the sadness left by the little seed that could not grow healthy.
As of milk...I have two friends who fed their babies with soy milk. One was lactose intolerant and the other had serious hemophilia. They are big and tall boys today. So much cheaper, home-made...When I think about how strong is the lobby of formula and dairy commodities, I see all recommendation for formulas with
extreme caution. Pasteurized goat milk can be added to the diet as well, but we need to shop for nutricionists and pediatrician who are not aligned with the formula makers. Let's remember that they didn't hesitate to sell formula to developing countries and poor women (through WIC programs) in the US, even giving samples away at hospitals - openly discouraging breastfeeding and other healthier alternatives. I don't trust them a bit.
Adding it all, it may be more economic to opt for old-fashioned organic!
Wishing you well,
Literatriz
