Staci,

Thanks for the message.

You made me smile when you said about your yoga tape. I too have no coordination (my grandmother always tells everyone how I've never been able to catch a ball!). I do struggle with some of the moves but I love it, it helps to empty your mind especially if you have to concentrate so hard because you find it difficult like me!

Don't beat yourself up about your sister in law. I know that in the past I have felt exactly the same way. It's strange mostly I don't really feel jealous of people with children, but am always very jealous of pregnant women.

Good Grief! This board is HUGE!!!!!! How totally fabulous :D :D :D

Glad/sad to see some familiar names from my cycles in January and February. We'll all get there in the end.

Very excited to see that people down-regging/waiting to begin in June have a great and new bunch of July buddies to cycle with. It goes without saying how much harder this would all be without our buddies. Not sure how people do it really.

Good luck to you all. Lots of Baby Dust.....

love
Debra.

Tracey,

Has anyone ever told you that you would make a great psychologist or counselor of some sort? You really have such a way of understanding people and giving very good insight. You are going to be a fab mom!

I am going to try my best to be positive about this going forward. I do even feel a bit better now that the start date is set....for the moment anyway. I seem to keep losing sight of the reason why I'm doing this....it's like I'm running a race but focusing on every little ache and pain during the run instead of the finish line. And, I guess to complete my analogy, I'm paying too much attention to the runners who are passing me instead of just doing the best I can.

Anyway, thanks for your support. I hope you are feeling well....you must be getting close and here you are taking care of all of us!

Julie,

You may have never been able to catch a ball but I'm one of those people who freezes when I see a ball coming at me and manages to get hit by it  ! On our first try playing tennis together, DH and I hit the ball back and forth all of two times before he hit the ball really hard back towards me. He said the look on my face right before I got slammed in the chest with the ball (not that there is much there to damage anyway) was like a deer frozen in headlights. Needless to say, he felt terrible and we haven't played tennis since. In another amazing display of clumsiness, the first time he took me to play golf, I managed to hit him in the head with a golf ball....at the driving range. I think that most new sports I've tried have resulted in either an injury to myself or to some other unfortunate person. I try to stick to things like running and cycling. Yoga is living on the edge for me. :)

Jen,

Good to hear from you and glad you're joining us (well, I'd be more glad if you didn't have to join us but you know what I mean!).

Getting late here, so I am heading to bed. Hope everyone else is having a good night.

Hello July Girls

Thought I would pop myself on here, have been posting on the June cycle but as I am now on the 2ww and don't test until 11th didn't think you would mind me joining you here too.

Staci - I sooooo understand where you are coming from with all those thoughts and feeling whenever anyone gets pregnant - its only natural to feel so envious, but hard to deal with all the same

Tracey - such wise words (as always) especially when you say you know some of us will have our dreams come true, and such a shame that it can't be all of us :?

Trying to remain positve and not thinking about the 11th - am mentally preparing myself for a -ive, its a self preservation thing, I'm sure you will all understand my reverse psychology

Keep going forward and stabbing, sniffing and waiting

IT has been said  but probably because I am as nutty as a fruitcake - are these nutty? fruity as a fruit cake - what am I like? You are doing fabulously well - just remember the story of the tortoise and the hare ok - you don't have to get past the finish line first do you - you just make your way past it and like the tortoise you will be the winner. You do have the strength to do this I know that and so do you. Keep going and let yourself have a wobble every so often - it's only natural.
Dee Dee - early birthday pressie for me if you get a ++++++++ (15th July) you can do this too. Reverse psychology - tell me about it - been there and have a couple of those t-shirts! LAst time I did the thinking it was positive all the time routine until had a wobble and finished off the blue cheese and loads of red wine - seem to be ok!

Deb - know you are plodding on with the lovely 2ww - hang in there.
To the rest of you special cyclers - it is never easy i know - been there - dig very deep and go and live your dreams - they are there for the taking!
Love

Staci,

Your note made me smile, which is good when we are trying to remain chilled and positive. Having just come back from my yoga class that is just how I feel.

Funny you should mention tennis as beacuse hand eye co-ordination has always been a problem it has always been a sport I have feared!

Keep feeling positive, I know it can be hard. One of my staff is pregnant as is another girl in our department not to mention the guy who sits next to me told me that his wife got pregnant the first month they tried (too much information!).

I can't believe that it only a week til I start down regulating, its exciting but frightening at the same time.

DeeDee,

Good luck for the 11th.

Tracey,

You are such an inspiration to us all, I hope that some of your good luck rubs off! It is brilliant that you are having twins, it means that when they are growing up they will always have their best friend to play with! I had that with my twin brother.

Julie

I have rubbed the twin tummy and sending over to you - not going to throw it your way as from your messages to Staci it seems you just might drop it - but good luck - you can do this and not long now........... Thinking of you the whole way - shout if you need anything.

To the rest of you - still doing really well and lovely to see you still laughing and smiling - not easy but does help to have a laugh even in the middle of this lot!
Take care

Hello July cyclers

Hmmmmm :? I suppose I am a July cycler too now as it's July today and my EC is on the 8th and ET hopefully the 10th. I will float from one to the other but there are so many July buddies already which is amazing

Nickie - Glad you have got going now AF has arrived. Good luck with your scan tomorrow. I have my first follie scan tomorrow morning so that should be interesting. Let us know how you get on.

Staci - Your tennis story made me smile :) I know exactly how you feel about running the race and forgetting why you are doing it. Tracey put it so well, she really is an inspiration like you said. The thing with the whole IVF process is you can't go any faster than you want. We are controlled by our bodies and the specialists. Everything happens when it's ready and not before. It can get really frustrating but we have to deal with it as and when it comes. You will be fine once you get going it's the hanging around that's the worst bit - well apart from that evil 2ww

Julie - Hope you get going on your down regs next week. It's great when you know you can start moving forward. The waiting is such a pain and you become despondant just hoping and praying the time goes quickly but it's just round the corner now so, hooray.

DeeDee - I've followed you over from the June buddys too but will be floating. Best of luck for the 11th.

Jen - Hope AF arrived today?? How's it going??

Sand, Angela, Cerise and anyone else I have forgotten - Hope you are all doing OK.

Love Dagny xkx

I'm really late joining, but can I join the July'ers!!!

I am currently injecting and EC is scheduled for week commencing 12th July!

This is my 3rd attempt (both attempts were last year and despite good embryos, no luck!). I am 32 and DH is 31, we have been trying for 8 years now.

I am exceptionally nervous this time, because I hate to admit it, but after the last attempt, I became very depressed and really lost control!!!! But so far I feel a lot more together this time.

Good luck to everyone else, I am thinking of you all!

Love
