Thanks for the good luck wishes, its lovely of you all to think of us. I just cant wait to get there now.

Jen- All your info will be a great help , Dh is looking forward to the DVD lets just hope it does the job! I hope I will get a chance to use the internet while I am there, but we wont get there until late tomorrow night and our appointment is at 10:30 on wednesday am and then we fly back that night, so we wont have much time. I promise that if I dont get chance I will first thing on Thursday morning.

Rachel-Thank for the good luck wishes, I will try to post but as I said to Jen we will be a bit pushed for time so no promises! Glad you had a great weekend, there is nothing better than a good spend every now and again!

Jackie- I am so pleased for you it is such an exciting time for you. I for one love to hear what you are up to and how you are getting on , sorry to hear about your sore (*)(*)!Look after yourself and thanks for the good luck wishes.

Hey lady's sorry things have been nuts...and im all sad so been reading but not posting...always thinking of you all though

well we have a closeing date this wednesday.(thats fast you say!?...yes we found out an hour ago)..but the sellers arent moving out untill the weekend .(not going to even get started on that one)...so hope to get our keys saturday also found out our mortgage lady didnt lock our rate in so all the money we have saved for our ivf now has to go to pay to get the rate we thought we had...so sad cant even tell you.

Rachel: Gemma got home yesterday from the download festival and ive never seen her and her b/f (Wayne) looking so well - they both had caught the sun and even tho were wearing hats (to hide their greasey hair lol) they looked really well They had a ball and were shattered. I made her favorite tea, cos i missed her (awww) and when i told her what i had made she turned to Wayne and said - see, i told u mammy would make me summit nice cos she had missed me (and poked her tounge out at him lol) Its nice to have her home - to look after me and Natasha, cos we both have this flu now Ive put u down for 18lbs lost on the list, i think u've lost more than that havent u - please keep me informed and i'll update it for you - well done hun, ur doing great

Hi to everyone else

been busy with the house clear up after viistors have left...and now getting flights and hotel booked for 2-3rd Aug and Big b appointment...I am so excited but we are only going to stay on 1 night as we have a 9mth old pup and putting him in kennels for longer than that isn't really fair. By Et we should have a friend lined up to dog sit .

Big brother is getting really interesting...I am loving that the Ziggy/Chanelle or "Chiggy" loved up explosion is causing Charley to "***** fest " so much with Shasbam! Wow if words could kill!!!! And i really think Seany has a mega agenda under wraps...he says he is gay but ????? is he????? Time will tell. i really think they are bonding so well (or bitching so well) that it will be sad to loose any of them at this weeks nominations. don't like many of the housemates but like watching the stirring they produce if you know what i mean.

Well we are here at last! I am so excited . We found the hotel ok and we walked up to the IM clinic. It was made easy with all the instructions that Jen gave me. Our appointment is at 10:30am and we fly back later tomorrow night,so I will let you all know how it goes on Thursday.

Gill - Have been thinking about you all day. So glad all the info came in useful and i know your appointment will go well. Who did you see? Are you starting at next af?. Was the dvd player any good ??????????? We want all the info.

Carolyn - Glad your home safe babe. Cant wait until you start, i'm getting excited for you. Sniffing is not to bd, i never got any side effects except maybe a couple of headaches. Dont like to boast but i am one of these girls who dont get any side effects with the drugs------sorry girls, know that will make some of you mad

Becky - Hows the cold? Hope your getting pampered?

JenB - Havent started meds yet, will be on first day of af, which is the beginning of July as long as the ED agrees to start then. The Doc told me there are no side effects with the drugs. First i have Belara pills to take on first day of af, this will be stopped when clinic tell me, it depends on ED. Then 2-4 days after stopping Belara i will get a period. On the first day of this i have to apply an Evopad patch and change them every 4th day. Then i have a scan and if all ok ET goes ahead soon after this. They have also given me Ultrogestan progesteron and i have to use these right up to test day. If and WHEN i cag a bfp then i hve to take them for approx 3 months to make sure the pregnancy "stays". Hop this helps. Its not too long for you to go, glad you got the hotel sorted out, you will love Big B, its fab.
Have missed BB for 2 days as i was working, am getting withdrawels

Aunty - Hope your stress levels are going down. We moved last year and its mad----but great fun once you are in your new house. You will be all cosy and settled for when your bundle of joy arrives

Jackie - Brilliant news about your appointment. Dont worry about sharing your news, we will be the same when we get our bfp's

My results came back from the clinic Big B via email yesteday and all is fine. Just have to wait on af and confirmation they have an ED-----think i will collapse when they email that news

Going to relax, have spent most of the day getting abuse and one of the charming young girls at the unit tried to hit me----she would have seen the floor before me

A big hello to all that ive missed, im trying to be quick as im quite busy at work today (3 days of work to catch up on!!) When i came in this morning, my boss toook me to one side, i was dreading what she was gonna say, but she said - listen Beck, i have to tell u this, i dont know how ur going to react, u must keep it quiet for now tho (and i knew wot she was gonna say) yes, u guessed it - she's pregnant - i hugged her before she got a chance to say the words, and the tears were streaming down my face - i am genuinely over the moon for her, and i respected the fact that she took me to one side to tell me. She knows about the IVF and so tried to be carefull, she was concerned that i was goiing to be upset - but im really not, and she is so pleased about that - she has been worrying for the past few weeks and finally told me today (she is still only 9 weeks - so no one else at the office knows) i think she wanted to share her news, have somebody to tell, and im glad she confided in me Hopefully we will be attending ante natal in a few mths together lol

Thats it for me now ladies, have to get back to work - everytime Dawn (my boss) walks passed, im smilling im so excited for her ....

HI Everyone

First of all THANK YOU all so much for thinking of us.

Well where do I start?, First of all we will probably be starting tmt in aug!!

Our doctor was lovely she explained everything well. She was concerned as to why treatment had not worked for us in the past, she said I was young and with all the embies that I have had put back over the past four treatments she thought there may be another reason why tmt had not worked so she suggested we have some tests done to try and find out why.
I will have a doppler scan and a diagnostic hysterscopy(which checks the blood flow through the uterus, check the uterus cavity, check for some cells in the endometrium which can stop embies from implanting, cultures incase of an infection and a small tissue biopsy to check for any abnormalities all of which I am going to have done there. It means an extra trip and extra cash but I dont care, I have said from the beginning that this time I want to do everything possible to get a bfp and at least if then it doesnt work I know that there was nothing else I could have done. It sounds bad but if they do find anything there are things that they can do to fix them so its good all helps towards a bfp!!
Dh is also having some tests done on his sperm they are doing DNA fragmentation and Fish Im not quite sure exactly what they do but they check for abnormalities etc I have a dvd and loads of paperwork explaining it all but havent had time to read/watch yet.
The last thing we are going to have is PGD preimplantation genetic diagnosis where they test the embies for chromosomal abnormalities which can cause bfn.
They could have just gone ahead and done the treatment whithout doing all of these tests but for our best chance of it working we decided to have all the tests going to try to make this work.
I will start medication after my next af and go back for the tests a couple of weeks later (you have to take the meds for them to do the test)
I will then stop the meds have an af and then start straight back on the meds ready for the real thing. So the tests wont hold things up to long which is good.
So not quite as straight forward as Jen but goes to show we are all different, I wasn't very happy about all this in the beginning (tests mean delay and lots more money) But now I realise that it is for the best and if it means that we get a bfp I'll have everything they can do and more!!!
Well my fingers are hurting from all this typing so I will leave it there INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!!
