Stephjim,

Thanks for your kind words. You're right - it does feel like we have lost our embies. Especially as we've seen them and know that they are living beings at that point and growing everyday. But people who have never had to deal with IF wouldn't understand that.

Really pleased that you have started your cycle. You must be looking forward to poking yourself with the needles. Hope you have loads of follies. Will do a follie dance for you in a few days.

Angel, i am so sorry, i know its just words but time is a great healer, and it sounds like your DH is a sweetheart. Take time together to get over this treatment. Then decide on your next steps. I hope you can find it in you to try again, big hugs to you.

Oh Angel- I'm so sorry! You have been through so much this cycle with being sick and all, too! DAMN IT! Image Why is life so unfair??? It is ok to be sad, angry, confused. It is all part of grieving! You have EVERY right girl! Don't give up! I know it is hard, but your time will come!

Hello all!! Good morning!! WAKE UP!!!!

I am feeling great and excited and like a pin cushion. I have officially stabbed myself in the belly and will do it for the next week and a half give or take a few days. I really hope for a retrieval date of the 18th but I will take sooner if needed, I don't want later.

How is everyone doing? Angel hope today you feel a little stronger.

Mia hope you are a little less sick.

Steph, hope you are a little less tired.

Chriss, how are you feeling? You had ER right when are they aiming for transfer for?

Hope, your er is just a few days away right? YAY!!! My cycle buddy is biting the bullet a bit earlier than me.

Angie where you at? Did you have the appt with the other doc yet?

Hello to all the preggos out there that I missed, Nims, Lara, beach, Su (I have not heard from Su in a while)

Lara the baby punching you now to say don't worry?

I am off today so I will be in and out of here gonna clean and do some yard work and maybe run to my favorite store, Hobby Lobby.

Hi Ladies :)
Sorry I haven't been on much lately. Work has been hell (as Steph would say). One benefit of working in the nhs is we do get a lot of holiday but that means this time of year everyone is trying to use it all up and we're really short staffed. Can't wait til my week off after easter :)

I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you this time. Don't worry about being down on here - that's what we're here for, to support each other through the ups and the downs.

Stephjim - Congrats on becoming a pin cushion. Its funny the things we get excited about isn't it. Image

Jenbabes - A belated welcome back. Keeping everything crossed for you. I hope the 2ww isn't too hard.

Jayne - How did the scan go? I can't wait for mine in 2 weeks. I hope you're feeling better.

Steph - Good news on the scan :) Just a few more days til you get to see the heartbeat

Rachel - I hope that little one isn't playing anymore games with you. It won't be long now til you get to meet her, I bet you're so excited.

Mia - sorry you're still of your food. Hope you feel better soon

Hi to everyone else - Chriss, miracle, Becky, Jen1d, Hope, Carolyn, Shantala. sorry if I missed anyone.

As for me, work is hell (did I say that already?) and I've had a headache all week. Had midwife appt this morning and blood pressure is fine so I think its just my sinuses playing up. I love my new midwife (the other one retired thank goodness!) I've started to feel the baby moving the last couple of days, just at night when I'm most relaxed and drifting of to sleep. Can't remember who asked but, yes I've got a little bump now and maternity clothes are sooo comfortable :)
Oh and I got some fantastic news at work today - the regrading for my level of technicians that my boss has been fighting for for well over a year was finally agreed AND they're gonna back date the increase to last June so I should get a nice little sum to add to the baby fund.

Love to everyone

Hi Ladies,

Su, good news on the backdated pay, every little helps at this stage. I got a tax refund in Jan which went straight into the baby fund.

Thanks for asking the scan went really well, 2 healthy babies, although they were being very awkward, kept turning over/moving all the time, took over an hour and we have to go back on Monday as we could not get a close enough view of twin 2's spine, its lying right up under my ribs. Feeling them move occasionally, but not constant yet, think its harder with 2 in there, felt them a lot last night though.

I have now got the okay to spend money, so getting my list finalised.

Catch you all later, dinners ready

Angel: Sorry again hun. It is devestating, adn whether this is the end of the road... Dh and I always said we would go as far as we could so that we wouldnt look back one day and say if only.. Everyone's "as far as we could" is different though. Just so sorry for you - but know that all of us understand exactky what you are going through. So glad mom and dh are there for you!

Beachbaby and Su: Glad your pregnancies are going along smoothly. i am not sure if I can wait until week 20 to buy stuff! Su when did you start noticable showing??

Stephjim: Arent we crazy to love shooting ourselves up?? I swear if someone looked in my bedroom they'd think I was a junkie!

Hello to everyone else. I am watching my god daughters (9 and 3) for the week, and it is tough to get on the internet at their house. Today I am feeling good - managed to eat some - lost another puond. I go in tomorrow for the u/s and will ask the RE about the weight loss and what to do about my loss of appetite and aversion to all food. Praying they see a strong hb tomorrow (last time it was just a flutter). But I am feeling confident since I have felt so icky! Oh did I tell you dh has the man flu (translation: cold) so no sympathy from him! :) oy men!

Ok I will be on next time I get a chance!

I've only bought a couple of bits so far but will prob start shopping after my 20 week scan especcially as I have the following week off work, perfect opportunity.
Its hard to say when I started showing, I guess over the last couple of weeks its started to become more obvious but it depends what I'm wearing, some days I look bigger than others. I've not had any comments from people who don't know so maybe they just think I've put on weight
I remember being off food a bit in the early days but not as badly as you (I've only just started eating chocolate again, in time for easter :D ) Just try to eat little and often, whatever you fancy. Baby will be fine - just remember he/she will take whatever they need to grow and develop. A friend of mine lost weight at the beginning of her pregnancy and didn't regain it til about 26 weeks. She gave birth to a very healthy 7lb something baby 3 weeks early
