hello - i wanted to join your post - anyone else have preg test around may 5th. Our story....We did icsi. Transferred 2 blasts - this is our 1st cycle. I had a lot of stomach issues for about a week after the retrieval. We had 23 eggs and only 1 made it to freezing. We were a bit bummed. I forgot to take my estradol and baby aspirin this am. I h ope its ok. I took my pm dose as usual.

Courtney, sorry to hear about your embies. It does only take one. My clinc freezes about half at the 1-cell stage so I may never know how many would have made it to a 5-day freeze.

I had a really horrible stomach virus on Saturday. I haven't been that sick since I was a kid -- fever, naseau, yuck. I called the clinic to make sure it was ok to stay on stims. They said the virus wouldn't interfere with stims. So grateful for that. Thankfully, it didn't last very long. I feel a lot better now.
Stimming is going well (I think). I have my next u/s Wednesday.
I think there was more I wanted to respond to, but I gotta run. Hugs to all!

My thoughts: My RE said that it is very variable how long the trigger hangs out in each women's system, but having said that I think you've got a VERY good shot that this far out is not the trigger and could just be a BFP. Here's the thing. We broke down and got the 1st Response Early Results HPT. I chose this one because it is supposed to be very sensitive.
We did the test and waited for the three minutes. About 2 1/2 minutes in a faint pink 2nd line appeared. Since we got the 3pack we'll test again in the morning because the manufacturer says that's the best time to test. We're hoping for a brighter 2nd line. The line WAS faint but it WAS there.
Now, I know we're stupid for wasting money because it may be the remnants of the trigger shot that was given to her 12 days ago.
I guess I don't have any real question other than, should we be happy with the faint pink 2nd line or dismiss it?

DrJen- Good luck on your big trip, I can't wait to hear how the ER goes. I'm hoping for lots and lots of eggies!! I know you're super busy, but make sure you give us a super complete fertility report. We're all rooting for you!
I'm doing quite well with stimming. I feel so much better since being off the clomid. I have to say that I think the clomid crazies are far worse than the shots (at least so far anyway- hopefully I won't be eating my words!)
Question for the group- I've been on stimming for 3 days now, I don't feel anything...no bloating, nothing...my E2 was where they want it, but I was thinking I might feel something by now. What do you think?

Okay, we did another HPT Frist Response Early Preg Test is the brand.
The preggo line is twice as dark as it was last night! Could be just the morning test vs the evening, but we are now 13 days past the trigger Ovidrel 250mg, so I'm hoping this is the real deal.
She IS still having some cramps and her boobs really hurt, so she's very cautious. Should we be concerned about this?
Oh, and she is VERY much appreciative of each of you. She's just do freaked out and has been working so much overtime she doesn't have time to get on here. Plus, she knows what a nut I am!

SD~ I didn't feel bloated or like crap until after ER. Then it took about a week for my ovaries to calm down, I was going to the bathroom every 2 hours durning the night since they were pressing on my bladder. Don't worry, the best is yet to come! SDtrying~As long as your estrogen (E2) level is where they want it, your body is doing exactly what it needs to do. Dont worry, you will feel those ovaries and cramps soon enough!!
Jim~Sounds like a BFP to me, Congrats!
Yellow~I am so sorry you havent felt well, that is a double whammy. Good news that it didnt effect the stims. Feel better!

It's been a while since I posted (not that I've been posting a lot anyway!). A lot has happened....congrats Sameera!! I'm very excited for you!! Good girl waiting until the night before to POAS. I do not have that kind of will power.
I POAS 7dp3dt and got a negative, which made me happy to know that the Ovidrel was out of my system. I got another negative 8dp3dt...and then Saturday morning I got up feeling nautious and wiped out, did it again and got a positive! I've been testing every morning since and it's still going. I'm completely exhausted all the time and am loving every minute of it! I have my beta on 5/1 - will let you know the result. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
