Hello ladies! I hope you have room for 1 more :-)

I am excited to get started (for my 6th time, lol!) with our upcoming cycle. AF is due around 7.1 (if on time, which I usually am), so that means the next AF will be due around 7.29 (I'm usually a 28-day cycler). Based on those 2 dates, I will be starting Lupron around 7.21 & ER will be around 8.14. I am very excited! There will also be a lot less stess surrounding this cycle since today was the last day of school & I'm off until 8.29. We leave for vacation next Friday, 7.1 (to GA to visit DH's MIL for a week & then to VA Beach for another week) & will be back on 7.16.

I "see many familiar faces" & am looking forward to getting to know others :-)

On another note...we just got home from putting in our 1st offer ever...  :? :?
ME: 32
DH: 38 (Severe MF)

IVF 1: BFP...M/C
IVF 2-5: BFN
IVF 6: BFP...it's twins!!

A strong, positive attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.

THANK YOU so much guys for your kind words! i felt better today. i talked to the coordinator and it sounds like i can do another transfer at the end of july - so even sooner then i thought. just have to wait for my AF and then start again. and i swapped emails with my embryologist and we are going to thaw out all my 6 embies and let them grow and transfer whichever ones make it!

Margie - i am trying to remember did you transfer day 5 or day 3 - and how many of them - was it 5 embies?

Ester - so happy to see you cycling again. here we go!!! this is it!!

gosh darn it, 4 cycles later i am starting to realize how incredibly lucky i was to have it worked on the 2nd try. because now i am on my 5th cycle trying for a sibling. for some reason i really want to give my DS a sibling in light of the fact that my DH and I are not young and may not be around for the second part of his life - i want him to have a brother or a sister if i possibly can help it. but at the same time i am counting my lucky stars that we managed to conceive once!! my embryologist keeps telling me how my DH's sperm is the worst she's ever seen. she is a scientist she doesnt mean it in a bad way - but enough already. i get it. hat's why we are here :) she said that with bad sperm it helps ot have younger eggs because the eggs can help correct or the sperm's abnormalities. the older eggs are not as good at doing that - so it gets harder to overcome male factor as you get older apparently.
anyway, sorry for all the detail - i feel like i teach an ivf class at this point. urgh!!! i wish i never had to learn any of this. oh what would i give to be oblivious to all of his and just find myself pregnant over and over again like "regular" people.

anyway, i am seriously happy that my job is keeping as busy as it is otherwise i would be obsessing way too much over this.

Lyd: I am glad that you are feeling better today and are working on a plan. I think it is great that you are working so hard to give DS a sib...I did a 5dt and because of my age (you are still fairly young in my book! :D ) 43 1/2 and my history of losses and BFN's we pulled out the stops knowing this was likely our last shot. I was literally bargaining with the RE during the ET--trying to get him to put in as many as possible. LOL. He was wanting to be more conservative because they looked so great for an "old lady". We transferred 3 Blastocysts and 2 morulas. My betas were really high--I still wonder if we had a vanishing triplet, but I guess we will never know. Twins at age 43, with own eggs is pretty unusual, I admit. I feel very blessed after a long and difficult journey. But we didn't have male factor, so that does change things a bit for you. Listen to your RE, talk with DH, and follow your heart. That LO is waiting for you, I know it!!!

thanks Margie! i ve been following you on the pat board and aside for bedrest i am thrilled that things are progressing well with you!!! cant wait to hear your delivery story :)

i think i am ready to get more aggressive as well. i think the male factor combined with 39 1/2 is probably the equivalent of 43 1/2. that's just my wacky estimate :)

Wow, we've gotten really busy.

My transfer went really well. My bladder was way too full so they let me go a little, thank goodness! It didn't help that they were 30 mins late when they were supposed to take me immediately because of my bladder issues. Anyway, it all resolved just fine.
It was super cool to see the embryos on the tv screen waiting for their turn to shine. This was a day 5 transfer and the embies got a great report. We have 3 blasts frozen with 3 more waiting it out till tomorrow to see if they make it. We only lost 1 so far. Hopefully the rest of this goes as well!

Wndrgrl-Enjoy Victoria! It's so lovely there.

Lyd10: I'm sorry this cycle didn't happen for you. Best wishes for the next try.

Kynlee: Cheering for you! Your beta is coming up quickly.

MadameX: Don't give up yet! I'll hold out hope for you.

Akdelp: Great fert report!

Everyone I missed, I think of all of you each day! I hope and pray that we all get our angels one way or another.

Welcome Ester! I am so excited that you will be joining us! We've been cycling together since last Fall, but maybe this season will be our lucky one! I really hope so for so many of us have been super patient. So far I feel this board has been on fire with some really good ET reports and several BFPs already. May God to be with us and bring us closer to making our dreams come true! Also I can only imagine how excited you must be about the house offer, let us know how everything goes!

AFM: Had a great day out with Belles. She wanted to dress up so I played along and wore something fancy too. We found so many crafts on the 80% off aisle at Hobby Lobby...She selected some fun-looking fabric thats hot pink, lime green paisley with black and white polkadots. I'm going to attempt to make her a sundress with matching flip-flops. What spoke to me today at H.L. was a plaque I saw there that said "FAITH...The Realization of what is hope for and the evidence of things unseen." It was so beautiful and even though it had a little chipped corner I had to buy it. After our shopping trip we had lunch at Willows, it's a new british restaurant in downtown Panama City and we had the best time there..delicious finger sandwiches, sconces and fruit pastries served with that blueberry tea. It was good but tonight I am suffering with heartburn and I would give anything if I could take something but I am going to sip on my sprite instead. Sorry I got off subject a little, :D but promise to send out more personals tomorrow...Welcome again MooreBaby! :D

Anyone else deal with hives during this wonderful process? I thought at first that I was getting eaten alive by something in my house, except I'm the only one itching! I have them on my leg, belly, and hip. I'm prone to allergies and have had random hives before. These have started since my retrieval. I'm thinking it might be the PIO shots.
