Good afternoon all!!

Yellow: Congrats on finding your rental house! And congrats on the follies! Sounds very promising!

DrJen: 7 of 11 sounds very lucky to me! Good luck!! I'll be praying for you!

Well, it looks like I might be 2 days ahead of schedule. I was supposed to call when I started my "Lupron period" and it started today. So the nurse called me back, and told me to come in tomorrow morning, and to called the pharmacy to get the microdose Ovidrel since I will probably be starting tomorrow instead of Saturday!! Woo hoo! Things are moving right along for all of us!

Congrats to all those that got the BFP!! I am happy for you.

Because I was told to stop the meds when the beta was negative (even though I had positive preg. tests) I ended up getting aunt flo.
I am moving on to a natural FET in June.

How is everyone doing?

Hey Everyone,

Donna- So sorry to hear about AF. Praying your next cycle goes well for you.

DrJen- yeah on the 7! That sounds great. Hope they do well for you.

Yellow- glad you found a house. I know how frustrating that must have been looking. It seems we have moved around a lot. We have lived in 4 houses in 3 states in the last 5 years!! Stupid hurricanes:roll:

jharris12 – I am jealous that you get to start early. It seems you have been to see your doctor more. I haven’t been in since Cycle Day3 BW and I don’t go till Friday for baseline. Sorry about your side effects. I have had headaches, been really tired and get emotional. I get choked up over nothing. My husband is dreading when I start stims and have lots of hormones running through me :) I just can’t wait to get started.

chelly – That is so sweet of your husband. I hope mine is similar, but he is clueless when it comes to cooking and house work. How are the PIO shots? I am worried about those. My husband is not good with needles. He has me worried because when he first practiced during injection class he threw the needle like a dart, but he let go!!

Hope everyone is doing great.

Well, better get back to my school work. I am finishing up my masters this semester if all goes well.

Hi Sameera,

I hope your relaxing and you're being well taken care of by DH.

Yes, we took another this morning. This is #3 and they are progressively getting darker. We'll do another tomorrow morning and maybe even Friday before the BW. (We have two of them left so why not use em?)

Oh, she started feeling very queasy this morning and she also just broke her bra, lol!

You know, the trigger was Wednesday the 16th and was only 250mcg, so it HAS to be out of her by now I would think? 250mcg isn't even the full dose as far as I can tell. Also, if it's still in her why would the test lines be getting darker?

Either way, we'll know Friday.

Hey, God Bless you and all the other girls here!!!

DrJen wrote:Hi everyone. I just got my fertilization report. Out of the 11 eggs, 7 fertilized. Last cycle we had 12 eggs and 7 fertilized. Hopefully this is my lucky #! They will call tomorrow with a tentative ET--I won't know exactly until Friday early am if it is Friday (3dt) or if it is Sunday (5dt). Keep up the prayers. Thanks, Jenny

Happy May 1st yall!
FYI this is the national day of prayer too!
I am 6dp3dt today...not much going on...kinda feel run down but that is probably just my job. I have bw to check e2/progesterone levels tomorrow.

DrJen- congrats on the fert report....7 embies is awesome! I am praying that they all do well and you have plenty to choose from!

jim- sounds like yall are well on your way to a BFP! I am too scared to POAS, I guess ignorance is bliss for me!

turtle- PIO is not as bad as you think. this is our routine...about 15-20 min before time, I put ice (i use a block of frozen lasagne...it seems to be the right size!) then I draw up the meds, and then I lean up against a chair with the side he is injecting curled up to take the weight off. The most impt thing is right after the shot DH needs to rub your tushie hard, and then put heat and rub it again. That is the key to keep from getting sore!

donna- sorry about you getting af...good luck with you FET!

jharris- glad to hear you are ahead of schedule! just means you are that much closer to your BFP!

yellow- wow...IVF and you are moving?! good luck! remember, you can't lift anything!

God Bless everyone!

Okay my fun-lovin' fertile turtles!

Today is a good day, I'm a go ahead for everything. I don't have any cysts or dominant ones. My RE said I have "lots" of follies and the nurse said there are "tons" YEAH! I know that all of them won't progress, but there are a couple at 13, a couple at 11, and a couple at 10- so that's pretty good. I'll be happy with anything, really. It just takes one, right?

My next u/s is set for Saturday.

Yellow- How many follies!!! When's your next u/s?

Donna- I'm so sorry that you've had such an emotional roller coaster, it just seems so unfair. But June for FET transfer sounds very good. How are you doing dealing with everything?

Sameera- i can only imagine how hard it is to wait for your U/S! when are you scheduled?

Dr.Jen- How are you doing post-Retrieval? Post after you get the phone call in the morning about whether or not your going in for the 3Day, so that we can all wish you well if you are going in tomorrow!

DriJim- Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I'm so happy for you and your DW.

chelly- are you going to POAS at all before your beta?

JesJes- when is your beta? I know you have a POAS +, but I want to make sure I give you big hugs for your beta too!

SD,

Sounds like they're growing nicely. They'll harvest you like a farm crop within a few days I'm sure.

I gotta say, this process is brutal. Sucks for the woman who has to take the meds, sucks for the guys who have to inject them, etc. And every step of the way is mined with concerns. Just brutal.

I'm saying this because everything has gone great so far, now we will find out tomorrow if we're Blessed with a BFP. Then, we have to worry about beta #'s and all sorts of other stuff!

I'm tired.

Good afternoon! How is everybody?

SD: Sounds like a good report! Since I can't seem to find the list, when is your ER?

Jim: Good luck and best wishes for a high beta tomorrow! You have been great through this cycle, and you deserve it!

chelly: Happy National Day of Prayer to you, too! I'm sure all of us here can benefit from a little prayer today! Good luck tomorrow. Oh, and thanks for your suggestions to turtle on the PIO shits. That is the part I'm not looking forward to, so any advice on that is great!

So now I'm waiting for a message from my RE. I went today for BW & an US after starting my "Lupron period". The nurse said everything looked good, and depending on the BW results, I should start stims tonight! Yeah, 2 more shots!! :D The nurse said I have to take them in the thigh or arm. We tried the Lupron shot a couple nights ago in the thigh, and I got an immediate bruise! This ought to be fun! But the nurse said I will probably bruise easier b/c they have me on daily aspirin. Oh well, not much longer now!

hey JHarris-

why can't you do the belly? I tried the thigh this morning, I like the belly better. I haven't tried the arm yet, maybe I should get a rotation schedule going! Yes, I'm bruising too, I didn't even think about the aspirin making it worse- I just thought it was from all the poking!

My ER is tentatively scheduled for 5/7, but I'm really hoping I could go a day sooner. I have 2 follies at 13 and my RE said that they do the ER when 2 follies are at 18. Hmmm...I wonder if I heard her correctly, maybe she said they give the trigger when two are at 18, that will make a big difference in terms of the possible dates.

Anyone else really ansy because they can't make any plans for anything during the stim/ER/ET time!!!
