Hello all! It has been a while! All is great here, but Noah sure does get himself into some messes lately! This is the most amazing month - it is like when they hit the 8 month mark, everything starts to happen!! Noah has been crawling for a couple of months now (though really he does more of a "creep" than anything else), but now the little stinker has started pulling himself up - on anything and everything!!! Yesterday he stood himself up in his crib and leaned over the edge and spit his paci out THREE times! He thought he was so funny. I kept telling my husband we needed to lower the crib again...we just lowered it a few weeks ago when he started sitting up in his crib. My husband thought Noah would not be able to stand himself up in the crib because he sleeps in a sleep sack and he thought Noah would get tangled up in it. Nope! I grabbed the video camera and taped it and took pics. When my husband got back from the store, I showed him the pics. He said I staged it. Ha ha! I said, "oh no, I did not. You need to lower that crib again"!!! So, little Noah got his crib dropped to the bottom now. :D Noah still is not talking as far as saying mama and dada, but he babbles and squeals his own language. I am anxious to hear mama or dada. I have started feeding him all kinds of stuff lately...he wants whatever I am eating! But he still has NO TEETH! He will be 9 mos next week, so I am sure they are coming soon. I am curious how much he weighs now. So far he continues to like everything...well, not sure about beef though. I tried the #2 baby food that was called beef and beef gravy and he looked at me like "WTF was that?" hee hee But he proceeded to eat it and continue to hang his mouth open, so guess he didn't think it was too bad. I just love this age. It seems like everything starts happening all at once....

Sounds like everyone is doing well with their babies.
CT - So sorry that this IVF round didn't work out. I am sure that was very hard.

Loopie - congrats on being done with the semester! We put Noah in the pool in a raft yesterday and he loved it! We were having a barbeque and all these kids were over and there is Noah..just floating around the pool thinking he was all that! I really want to do swim lessons for him!!

Suga - The girls are getting so big! How exciting. I am sure they are going through all kinds of changes just like Noah. They grow up so quickly!

Ok, I am missing so many of you, but have to get back to work. My best to everyone!!

I am sure she will be waiting for you and that she has crossed the rainbow bridge. I know what you are going through and putting your best friend to sleep is one of the hardest things to do. I really feel for you and I am sending you many hugs!

Loopie - I tried letting a little water drip down his forehead afetr saying 1 2 3 go and blowing on his facec, he did ok. He loves the water since we go in our spa almost every day (97 F) he hated going into the floating position though and cried a bunch. Congrats on finishing the semester!

Katie - wow already going for #2! I am so excited for you! It seems like I will have to keep waiting a bit since bean shows no sign of wanting to be weaned off.

Tina- it is amazing how fast things get going after about 7 mos! Mine is also trying to escape the crib, the bath, everything!

How much solids are you girls feeding your babies?

My little one decide to start waking me up about 4 times a night to bfeed! Ouch! And still struggling with making him look right, so no sleep for mommy!

I got some really cute gifts at cafepress.com for father's day!

CT I too am sooo sorry about you dog. Its a hard sad thing to do even when we know its the right thing to do

Parker eats what I eat. He eats his food but I give him bites of my food as well. He also eats the dog food lol. I forget its down and next thing I know im digging it out of his mouth. Gross but sorta funny. He is getting his first toioth. It is almost all the way through the gums. The fun's began.
Rio I wanted to have number 2 in May begining of June before the hot summer, thats why we are considering august. If not maybe November it just depends on the house and life in general.

CT - I am sorry about your dog. It has been a year (May 4th) since I had to put my little dog to sleep and it was so hard to do. My thoughts are with you.

Katie and CT - I see our RE this Thursday and am tentatively scheduled for a FET the second week in August. They are going to be doing the water sonogram and trial transfer again since it has been a while and also do some bloodwork. But if all is well, I will be cycling again in August. I am sooooo excited!

Loopie - Congrats for finishing your semester. Whew! I am just hanging in at work. We have two more weeks until the end of the semester and it is busy, busy, busy. I am really tired of kids too....other people's that is.

Is anyone having problems with separation anxiety yet? I can't even leave Declan to go to another room without him having a total meltdown! It is really hard. I just end up taking him with me wherever I go. It is even starting at daycare - and he LOVES daycare. Any tips?

Mellie - Glad the weather is working out for you! I just love taking the baby for long walks and he really likes it too.

Suga - I wish Declan would just crawl already! He tries but just can't get that gigantic caboose off the ground. It makes him really frustrated. He does sit up without falling over now, though and tries to scoot around while still sitting. And he loved to stand. He can't do it by himself, but loves it when we hold him up. I hope crawling is next.

Rio - Dek gets cereal and fruit (2oz) in the morning, a 2oz jar of fruit or yogurt for snack in the morning and a 2oz jar of veg in the afternoon and then turkey or chicken and veg (3oz) at dinner. He also gets 5 bottles (6oz each - 30 oz a day). I know, he's a oinker!

Hope you are all doing well. Have a great week!

Big day today!!!

Mackenzie: tooth is in! Another on the way! 18 lbs 12 oz and 27 1/4 inches tall. 90% over all and not adjusted for age!! 50% for height and weight not adjusted and 20% for head not adjusted. Started to say "gaga" and something that sounded like "dada" but I can not be sure. Crawling backwards...? lol.

Brooke: 2 teeth coming in at the same time! 19 lbs 3 oz and 26 3/4 inches tall. 50% for height and weight and 90% overall. 10% for head. Of course, not adjusted for prematurity. TODAY she said "mamamamama" "dada" AND "babababa" ALL IN ONE DAY! It is like it clicked and she was ready to talk! I was flabbergasted it all came in one day! She scoots on her bottom.

CT: Sorry about your dog, UGH I know how you feel. It is a horrible thing to lost a family member.

Gecko: Mine do not have it bad to where if I leave the room they scream. However, since they were young I would leave them on their own and go to the kitchen and clean or something (seriously, like 5 steps away and I could watch them) but they could not see me. Maybe a twin thing too? I dunno. However, if I leave them with someone they do not know...that is another story. They are only really used to me and the hubby.

AND Holy cow yours eats a lot lol. Mine do not eat nearly that much! 7 oz in the morning of bottle with a few bites of fruit or something, 4 oz for lunch with cereal, fruit, veggie (however much they want to eat, usually a jar of each between the both of them) 7 oz for a snack then dinner is cereal with fruit, and veggie then 2 oz of a bottle. But their bottles do have rice mixed in so that makes them fuller. Probably why mine do not gain as much weight as quickly as others. But I am ok with that as long as they are healthy.

Mackenzie was to drink out of my cup all the time. I only let her if I have water. But she is getting pretty good at it unless I tip too much :D They are still working on sippy cups.

Anyone notice with biter biscuits that if they break a piece off they choke on it as it does not melt fast enough? Mine seem to do that a lot and they do not know how to chew too well still. I can not wait till they are eating finger foods. I still have awhile I am sure.

Hey girls- I want to do some personals before I vent..

suga- wow...teeth! Still no teeth for ella at almost 9 months, but I bet they are coming soon. Isn't it amazing how one day can change everything at this age?

gecko- wow dek eats alot! I am trying to get ella to eat more solids, buyt it is a slow go. I give her a bottle when she first gets up (7oz), then early to late morning she has some oatmeal with about a half jar of fruit, then another full bottle befoire nap. After nap I set her up with a gerber crunchers for a snack with some water in a sippy, then she will get another bottle, oatmeal and veggies around 7, and then a smaller bottle before bed. So I guess I need to just try and feed her the baby food more often.

And yes...Ella hates to be away from me, even if I am in the other room. Ih ope it passes fast, or she is going to make my brothers wedding in july miserable since I am in the wedding party and can not hold her all day

katie- so glad to hear you have a tentative fet coming.

tina- rio- thanks for the kind words...

everyone- love all the photobucket pics, keep them coming, I added a few

As for Ella- she is so close to crawling. She will lay on the floor and pull or drag herself around, not lifting her belly. As soon as she figures out to get up on her knees and lift her belly, she will be on the go!

Ok...so venting time! This past weekend I threw my out of state future sis-in-law a bridal shower at my house. Everything was wonderful, we had a great weekend, until I found out that my grandma and aunt felt uncomfortable at my house and were mad at people because they thought it was done on purpose...ugh...I can't go into all the details leading up to these kind of feelings(because it would take forever and my blood pressure will go up too high again), but basically everything blew up and relationships between family members will never be the same. People are dwelling on some petty stuff from years ago...some stuff that happened before I was even born. It is very sad to see my family in such turmoil. I honestly feel like the past 4 days I have grieved more than when I put my dog to sleep on monday, because I feel like I lost family members. I have tried all week to smooth things over, but I know it will never work and I am surrending. All I know is that all of this has given me a whole new appreciation for my own mother, my siblings, my husband and my child. I am so thankful to have the loved ones I do.

Sorry for venting...but I know these forums are truly one of the only places I can open up and not be judged for it.

Michele - I am so sorry you are having family troubles. They are just the worst! It sounds like the issues are way beyond your control - especially if they stem from before you were born. Hang in there and just try to be there for your brother. That's what counts. Make his special day a happy one. That's all you can do and if others spoil it, it isn't on you.

Suga - Sounds like the twins are thriving!! Awesome! I am so jealous that they already say mama and dada. We have been practicing with Declan and so far -nada.

I saw the RE last week and we are set for an August FET. I passed all my bloodwork so far and am scheduled to go on BCP when I get my next AF. I have the water u/s and trial transfer on June 10th and should get my calendar shortly thereafter. I am so stoked! She said my 4 blasts were of very high quality and wants to transfer two. Asked if we were ok with twins. We said we aren't ok with twins so she is considering a single embryo transfer depending on how well they thaw. I can't believe I am doing this again.......

Declan crawled yesterday!!!!!!! Today he was into all the kitchen cabinets so I guess we better baby proof even more than we had. He is so much fun these days! He still gets freaked out when DH goes on shift. I guess he feels abandoned. I hope that gets better. Other than that, he is doing great!

Have a wonderful weekend!

gecko- wow, crawling already? Does he get his bottom off the ground and is full on crawling on his knees, or more like dragging his body across the floor? Ella is still dragging herself around, one of our friends called it the "army crawl." I think she will get it anyday now though.

And congrats on almost starting a new cycle. August is soon...maybe we will be bump buddies.

Happy Memorial Day everyone....enjoy the holiday. After nap time, I am off to some picnics.

Hello all!! Hope everyone is well. Noah's last day at my friend's house was today - I am sad. Her mom has been watching Noah since he was 8 weeks old and starting Monday, he goes to the Goddard School. I am a little freaked out because all the babies nap at the same time in the morning - at 11 a.m.! That is late for Noah - he usually goes down by 10 a.m. I don't know. I am just kind of freaked out about him going to a more formal day care, rather than my friend's house which is right up the street. Oh well. I took Monday off so I can spend a lot of time there. My roommate from grad school has her kids there so I know others there, but it is just weird. :?

Noah is still army crawling. He goes so fast though...I don't know that he will ever do anything else. He flies down the hall like that. Still no teeth!! We swam in the pool tonight while my husband was grilling food. It was so nice. Noah loves the water!! I need to get him in swim lessons.

Noah doesn't have separation issues at all, but a friend of mine has a baby that has it BAD!!! I mean, all the time. She is really struggling with it. I don't know what the answer is...I mean, do you let them cry? I don't know. Noah doesn't seem to care when I leave the room. Supposedly they say that this is the age that they start to notice these things, so I am sure it is something they outgrow.

Noah still isn't talking. Hmm...we try to get him to, but he is still babbling. Oh well.

Take care all!!! Can you believe the summer is already here???

Hi moms! Well I went to the RE and we are starting bcp at the end of June on my next period. It looks like me and Gecko will be going at the same time. My doc suggested that we do 2 embies. I want to b/c we did 2 and got Parker but my luck is this next time that both will stick. 3 under 2 blows my mind---So who knows. Plus the cost of it makes me want to do 2 but since we have 11 embies maybe just one. Not sure yet.

Parker is everywhere. He crawls and pulls up and stands on everything. His tooth finally broke through last week and he has been in a much better mood. The boy eats!! he will eat his dinner and some of ours too. We give him pretty much everything. He is starting his mommy phase. I hope its temporary. It not tooo bad except when he is tired.

Hope everyone has a great summer.

Katie - Looks like we will be on similar cycles. I am glad to have a cycle buddy!! I will start my BCPs with my next period which will be this week and I have a water u/s and trial transfer scheduled for June 10th. I guess if that goes well, I will get my actual calendar and meds. My doctor is also making me meet with a neonatal high risk obgyn that deals with hypertension even though I controlled my blood pressure just fine last time and get an EKG with my regular doctor to make sure my heart can handle another pregnancy. I don't have any heart problems, but I guess it is standard for any proceedure after 45 years old. Sheesh, I'm not elderly!!!! We are determined not to transfer two blasts although that is standard. I couldn't handle three children under two. No way, no how!! My RE said the final determination of how many we transfer will be made the day they thaw them. If they only have between 50%-70% of the cells undamaged we might consider transferring two, but if they are at least 80%-90% intact we will only do one. I have four remaining 5 day blasts. There is no way I would do another fresh cycle so I am hoping we can get one sibling for Declan out of the remaining. We will see! I am excited though.

tina - Let us know how Noah's transition to daycare goes. Our bably loves daycare because there is so much more stimulation for him. He gets bored easily at home (even though our family room looks like an FAO Schwarts store). Our daycare has the babies sleep whenever they are tired. I don't think they do uniform naps until he goes into the older babies room at 12 months.

Suga - Awesome on the crawling! Declan is still doing the "army crawl" but he gets around. We totally need to baby proof our house!

Loopie - I am so glad that Pulman liked camping! The one time we took Declan on an overnight trip he absolutely refused to sleep at night. We haven't tried again but do want to try to take him to our family camping trip for a night in July. How did you do it?

Michele - Looks like your cycle will be before mine. How is it going? Are you downregging yet?

Happy Monday to everyone!

Gecko- I am not even sure what downregging means, even though I see it all the time here. I currently have af, I stopped bcp's about 5 days ago, and I have been on lupron for about 10 days. I go on thursday for u/s and bw, which is when I am supposed to decrease lupron and start estrogen pills, transfer scheduled for june 24. Glad to hear you are on your way, looks like you and katie will be cycling together, but not that far behind me, we will still sorta be "bump buddies" if we all get preggers.

katie- I hear yaabout having 3 under 2 years old, but if that is what we get, I am prepared. I just want this FET to work no matter what, this recent bfn was so devastating. But I can imagine how hard it will be. Good for parker for eating so much and for pulling up and crawling. Ella is army crawling all over the place, but not pulling up on anything yet. And she is still mostly eating baby food, I give her little bits of certain things, but not much, since she still doesn't have any teeth, but I know they are coming soon.

tina- how is the goddard school? I have heard awesome things about them, but also know they are ridiculously expensive! And yay for army crawling too! I am sure it is just a matter of days or weeks until they are up on those knees, and all over the place!

Suga- has brooke taken mackenzies lead yet and started crawling too?

loopie- so glad pulman had fun camping. The first time we did an overnight with ella, she was only a month old, so she slept fine. But we have a couple of away weekends coming for my brothers out of state wedding, and I am not sure it will be so easy this time. I think she likes being home and it will be weird for her to have to sleep in the playpen, she always sleeps in her crib.

Ok ladies, gotta run, but talk to you all soon!
