Hi everyone

Have started DR now and so far no side effects! However, no side effects and no AF yet. My doc says I should have AF b4 my first scan which is booked for 5/11. Does anyone know what happens if it's late arriving...will everything be put back? Ooo, I do hope not.

Souris...stay strong and resist temptation! How many a day now?

Lumis...isn't it weird how there's all this scientific help and intervention, yet it's still all controlled by what your body's up to naturally - can't get my head around that one :? Stay strong my lovely.

Hope all you other pups are ok...sending big hugs to you all.

Lumi,
I know this waiting sucks and its a shame this cycle was cancelled for you..
I'll wish away time for you.I hope you get your natural cycle soon, so that you can stat the pill soon- though I fail to understand your clinics protocol for 2 months/cycles of pills??
oh well all for good i guess..You hang in there honey..
i've heard exercise helps so i hope you're still on your routine? You csan enjoy a nice holiday with dh this next week onwards!!perhaps even have fun trying the natural way huh :)

Souris,
Its good that you can go in Jan- new year, new hopes and dreams fulfilled..
Lavender,
usually everything hinges on the first day of AF, so I hope it starts soon.

Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you..

Lumi, I can totally understand your frustration - my cycle was just cancelled too.

This process has so many lows - it had better have one heck of a high at the end of this to make up for all this nonsense.

Hugs.

hi girls

I can always rely on you lovely people to know what to say! I am feeling okay - incredibly bloated and waiting for AF and then I can start at the gym and stay fit and healthy. We are planing holidays at Xmas so there is stuff to look forward to. It is a bummer and always good to know others are going through the same thing.

One thing I have learned is NEVER think you know what the next step will be in the treatment.....having done 2 other frosties, chem. preg., ectopic scare, OHSS after EC, PCOS, slow swimmers...........you THINK that the first 2 weeks DR are straightforward...NOT!!!!!!!! we have to laugh otherwise we will go MAD    Well, I have 4 frosties waiting and I am so grateful for that.

denise - love to you. this really sucks because it's so frustrating.

Smita - I dont understand the pill thing. I think its because it will stop me ovulating naturally and then i wont be so hypersensitive and produce loads of follicles when I am supososed to be downregging. I spend Most of my life NOT ovulating and then any stimulation at all sends my ovaried crazy.

Lavendar - in the past i didnt bleed in 2 weeks of DR and I just had to keep supressing for an extra week - so not too bad. the other time i didnt ever bleed because the lining was very thin and never thickened at all. but as you have just heard - my body is weird!!!

Take care all -- LUMI xxxx

Hi Lumi

We're starting to look at booking a Jan holiday - so, yep, its good to have something good to look forward to.

When do they think you can cycle again?

On a side note, I asked my sister if she would think about donating her eggs if we came to that.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, we're not close at all any more, that she said no. I think if our positions were reversed I wouldn't even think twice. We're not at that point, and hopefully never get there, it just sucks to think that through infertility, tmt, m/c, and cancellation my sister has never been there for me. The most I've gotten from her is an email to say that she was sorry I had a m/c. Cold stuff.

Anyways, sorry for venting. I guess the constant hormones and the extra weight, ect. are catching up with me today. Hope you guys are having a better weekend than me.

Hugs.

Hey guys

Went for my first accupuncture yesterday - very relaxing

Anyone ever hear of having to remove a naval piercing? The therapist just about had a bird when she found mine. I think I'll actually put a thread out there about that one.

Hey girls!
Can I join the under 30's?!
I am going in tomorrow morning for my ER so I am so nervous!

I was reading all the funny stories about everyone's friends and man can I relate.
I try not to be jealous of others but it is hard at times.
We've been trying for 3 years so yes everyone I knew who wanted to get pregnant has and I am left!
But I have to believe that God's plan is different for me and this is going to work. I wish I would have conceived naturally but I have to admit this IVF process is pretty cool. It's like I am more involved and I understand my body so much better now. I can actually see the different steps as they are happening. But I like order and planning so I guess it fits my personality!
Always gotta find the good in everything!
Y'all take care!

Hello all

I have started to browse again. I sorry I have not been on the boards since around August. You may recall I didn't get any embies. It was all such a shock to me that those sperm and eggs didn't even want to meet each other. I was really down and then just forgot about it all, well hid from it really. It was such a big fall from being so high and feeling so positive and it hurt so much. To top it all DH's daughter was being a particularly awful teenager. Not drinking, or boys or alcohol which is good just really disrespectful and horrible towards DH and me, which really upset DH and I. You will know how spiteful some teenage girls can be!

I went back to UK for a month which was good as I got away from it all, I missed DH heaps though. I was meant to start injecting whilst I was in the UK. Do you know in the 4 airports I went through not one checked all the needles in my hand luggage - amazing! Anyway, I hoped my AF would come - it didn't until day 54!! So I will now start on Sunday. Hopefully they will fit me in before Christmas. They said they can still proceed even if I don't have my next period - has this happened to anyone before?

I hope we can go in before christmas as the clinic shuts down for January for the summer holidays to give the staff a well earned break. They also say it forces the patients to have a break as well. So if I don't get in before Crimbo it will be at least Feb / March before I kick into the next cycle.

So I'm not going to think that way and just wait and see what happens and fingers crossed for December.

I hope I'm allowed to stay on this thread as now I am 30!!!

I will catch up on all your news. I may not be on the boards too much as I hope to get out walking more in my spare time now that it is summer here and lose some of the weight I put on during the meds. Unfortunately I can't lose it sat infront of this thing, my butt is definately telling me that  But rest assured I am thinking of you all and I was thinking of you all during my time out period.

Take care lovely ladies
