Hi mommies

corny- i am still thrilled at your news!
sassy- glad it's still a basketball team and that runty is hanging in there!

Tammy- blech! me, too! 12 weeks PIOs and Suppositories, and 13 weeks for sups alone- there is just no room left for these PIOs! seriously, DH is like "um, how about here?" everywhere is bumpy and sore at this point! do your spots itch? argh- i scratch and rub- i'm pretty sure folks think i have fleas!

gecko- hope your pup is doing better-it's so awful when they're sick
i wonder how our pup will do when the baby arrives? we actually adopted him bc the family who got him as a puppy had a baby, then ignored him and tied him up outside! I can only imagine what they might be doing to their human baby!!!! he's a great dane and sooo much fun- hope i can still walk him in the 3rd trimester!!

weezie- glad you're back- a vaca with the dh is just what you need!

cinci- you have an 18yo? wow- that must be wild! too bad she's going away to college, or you'd have a built-in babysitter!

i'm pretty good- got some m/s over the weekend- seems me and cars don't mix right now! didn't get sick, though! just a yucky tummy
am feeling more inspired at school, and have a bunch of art i'm itching to make, finally!!!!!!!! for a while there, i thought i'd never feel like making anything ever again!
hope you are all doing great
have a terrific day!

weezie/Sage/Corny - need your EDD, if you already gave it to me, sorry, Can you do it again? :D
Corny- Loved your twin u/s pic! thanks for posting! I told my DH and he said to say congratulations, he followed your story with me. :D
Sassy - no wonder you are tired, you have a crowded house! Image My goodness that was quite the u/s pic, thanks for posting it!!! Congrats on little Runt being healthy! :D

Girls check out Corny's and Sassy's pics on www.photobucket.com username is octmommies2b and password is eddoct

Cinci good luck on your Nuchal on Thursday, let us know how it was, are you getting the results then?
Gecko how is your little girl?
loopie I am so glad you rescued your pupImage! Poor baby! Tied up  DH and I are huge dog lovers and we have 2 German Shepherds, working on getting a 3rd (male puppy) soon. The female has been really clingy to me lately so I think she knows something is going on, the male is now 13 1/2 which is a lot for a GS but he is happy and spoiled! I fear the day anything happens to him since I will go insane. I can't wait for them to meet the baby! :D
Me I have an u/s today!!!! Wooo-hooo! I am so excited! Last time we saw the baby move and this time I am hoping for some acrobatics! :) I will post pics on photobucket tonight. Wow - I still get nervous about going for u/s, I guess with ivf the fear never leaves you! Right now at 11 1/2 weeks the chances of m/c are lower than 1% so you think I would relax more!!! I can't wait for the dreaded 13 week mark to go by to feel "out of the woods" so to speak and make it public!!! We are also having a Nuchal next Monday so we were waiting for those results! Have a wonderful Tuesday!.
Tomorrow is my birthday Imageand I get to celebrate with
DH alone Imagecause we are doing family dinner tonight! Wooo-hoo I know it is silly but I am so excited to be pregnant on my b-day - what a gift! Image

Sassy - How wonderful!!!!! I am so happy that "Runt" is hanging in there! Let us know how your appointment on Wednesday goes.

Katie - Glad you and DH had a nice time away. It is really nice to come home though. What testing are you doing?

rio- Thanks for asking about my little dog. She is doing much better. She has been pretty wiped out from the antibiotics and hasn't been eating much, but today she looked more rested and started eating again. I hope that she will be fine for a whlie. Good luck on your u/s today! They are so much more exciting now than at the beginning, hun? The beanies look more like babies and hopefully you are more relaxed now. I know that I am pretty much not worrying anymore. Have a wonderful birthday tomorrow and celebrate with DH in style. And of course, we all want a full report!

loopie- I know just what you mean about cars! I get motion sick in them if I am driving or not. Gross! I'm glad you have found some inspiration despite your uncooperative tummy!

cinci- Good luck on the Nuchal test on Thursday! Just having the opportunity for another u/s must be wonderful!

I am just barely hanging in there with the m/s and headaches. Yesterday, I had a bit of reprieve and thought that maybe the worst was over, but NOOOOOOOO! Today it is back with a vengeance. Nothing sounds appetizing. I am snacking on dry Life cereal and even that is making me sick. If there is any link between m/s and healthy babies, then mine is doing just GREAT!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Gecko: Ugh sorry you are still dealing with m/s! Dont worry about not being able to eat - my RE said that the babies are fine - even if I dont eat!! - Just take that prenatal vitamin!

Katie: Hey there! What kinda testing??

Rio: Happy early bday!!! Cant wait to see the pic. You are a week ahead of me - so it is nice to see what I will be seeing. Though my baby wasn't moving at yesterday's u/s :( Hopefully Thursday I will see it swimming around!!

Hey girls! Just wanted to give you a quick update on our u/s - I already posted a pic on photobucket (Mia- it's your preview :) for what your baby will look like next week). The baby moved around some when the nurse had the belly ultrasound checking for HB, I would run away from someone poking me too!!! During the real ultrasound, the baby stayed quiet, strong HB and here is the good news the baby measured 6 days ahead!!! little bugger is 11w2d and measured 12w1d! The Doc said "It doesn't get any better than this!" The rest of my bloodwork came out great. Now for Nuchal next week! :D :D :D

Corny - Congratulations! That is so wonderful. I'm so happy for you.

Sassy - I'm glad you're doing well! Can't wait to see the pic!

Rio
- Happy Birthday! We're almost exactly the same age (I turn 37 in May). I remember how sad I was on my last bday and I've already been thinking about what a difference it'll be this year. I'm sure you've thought about that, too, huh?

Hoekey- glad to see that you are taking care of yourself and doing as well as can be expected.

Rio- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Hope you have a great day tomorrow.

I had my u/s today and I'm sad to say that one of my babies didn't make it. the RE said it just happened (probably thrusday). The baby measured 9w0d, so.... Now I'm just praying that my body does absorb the baby instead of trying to pass it. I will go back for another u/s Monday and then Tuesday to my OB. I'm really struggling with this so I think I will lay low for a while. I hope you all have a wonderful week. Rio, my EDD is 10/24

Oh, Weezie I am so sorry   . Please take care of yourself and I will say a prayer for you and your lost little one. Did the Dr. expect you to be able to absorb it? Are they concerned about the other twin? Hang in there hun. Again, I am so sorry.

Hi Girls...Hoekey - it is so good to see you around. I don't think I could do it (continue to hang on the boards). You are truly amazing.

Weezie - I am SOOO sorry about your baby. I hope for you that you will just absorb it and I will pray for the other lil one to stay strong.

Rio - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you get to do something special with DH!

As for me, I just wanted to give you all the rest of the information from our u/s yesterday. I was so excited to tell you all about the twins, I spared you the rest of the details. With the u/s RE was unable to detect a separation between the 2 babies. This indicates they are possibly sharing one amniotic sac. Twins who share the sac are high-risk and have a 50% fetal mortality rate because they get tangled up in eachother's umbilical cords. The good news is, he said it may be too early to detect 2 sacs. He said I will have to have weekly ultrasounds until we can determine whether they are monoamniotic twins or not. If they are, I will have to be under the care of a perinatologist and bedrest will be in my near future. The good news is, since I'm traveling next week for work, I get to see my babies again this Friday! Here's a link to some info on what we may be facing (if anyone is interested).

http://www.pregnancy-info.net/monoamniotic.html

This information sounds pretty scary, but DH and I have decided that we will not worry about the possible complications until we know for certain if they are in one sac. And as you all know, our RE has been wrong about a few things so far, so we're taking everything we hear with a grain of salt.
