wooohooo - my horse came in first so have alittle money to go towards beanie! Hubby's horse came in 2nd too

angel - hey this is wot this site is for - no matter how you are feeling, happy or blue, we will listen whatever - not that I'm nagging but you should go back for the results. You have take life at your own pace and if that means being a little anitsocial then so be it - it will get better honest but just in your own time.

Mir - hows you hun - think I may have missed a post or two - but take it you're starting tmt again soon and with DH's swimmers - thats fantastic  - whats your schedule? We had ICSI too so hoping that they got the best looking swimmer !!

Rachel/Shantala - not long now - hope your DH's know how to get onto the site to let us know when the happy day arrives!!

Image to all the other girls - sorry haven't done you all personals but have so many pages to read and catch up!! Been so so busy with work over the last 2 weeks, feet haven't touched the ground and it isn't going to ease up either - thankfully have the whole w/end off to recoup and rest before feet hit the floor again running on monday morning for another week of sheer hell. Although one positive, I have my leaving date...yaayyyeee so now on my own personal count down.

Brought my first babe outfit too (i know, i know a bit slow on the uptake) however guess just still a little cautious about it all.

happy w/end
nims xx

Thanks for the congrats nims. I bet you are getting excited. I can't wait to get to the point where you are. Now you are not finding out the sex of the baby right?

Believe it or not, once the 12wks is out of the way, it does seem to go a little quicker - time seems to stand up to 12wks but yes, as each week passes the more excited I get/

No havent found out the sex - think with IVF all elements of surprise are taken out so wanted something still to look forward too - if you get my meaning.

Yay it is finally back!!! I have been fretting all weekend so I have question for all the preggers here besides Steph because I have been talking to her.

How many betas did you have and what were they? I was just curious because my doc is stopping at 810 and I have to wait soo long for the us so just having paranoid feelings.

Also if you are on progesterone, did you get switched from shots to supp and was it a regular suppos or was it a pill that was inserted vaginally? Any help would be appreciated.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Oh thank GOD I was having withdrawls!!!! I got my new puter and I thought I broke it cuz I couldn't get on here!!!!

Hi Nims! You sound good!!!! I'm glad your horse won...I hate when they turn them into glue  Yup my sugar #s are great...the last one was BAD though....bad in the sense it was too low! NOT COOL! But that is wut happens when you don't let a pregnant woman eat for EVER then load her with sugar!! If I have to do the one later...and I know I will, I am gonna ask if they can just do 2 hrs so I don't risk the COMA episode again!

UGH 11 1/2 days (hehehe Steph) til US! AND it is my last day of vacay

Made potatoe (Mia) and cheese soup from scratch fer dinner...mmmmmmmmmm. Only thing that sounds better at this point is fresh baked cookies! Hmmmmmmm

Good morning ladies.

Hope you all had a great weekend. From the lack of activity on this thread, it seems like you were all quite busy. Unless of course Steph sabotaged the forum again!

Hope, Chriss, Mir, Nims, thanks for your kind words. It just feels so surreal sometimes that we can reach out to each other over the net and feel and understand each others pain even though we haven't all met in person. Sometimes we can "sense" that someone is down. Some of my friends haven't sensed that I am feeling quite low. I had a friend come and moan to me about her work and boss. I just wanted to scream and tell her that I have bigger problems than her. But that also made me realise that so many people out there probably have some type of problem or the other and are probably hiding away a lot of pain and hurt. And if everyone of us wallowed in self pity, the world would be a miserable place to live in. I'm lucky that I found amazing friends like you to help me get through this difficult journey.

Image

That goes for the rest of you too. Just cause I didn't mention your name (and do a Steph    ) doesn't mean I don't appreciate you. We're all in this IF roller coaster together, some ahead than others. Those of you ahead give us hope - and you had better not abandon us, cause we will still need your support on this journey.

Love,
Ang

Chriss - you didn't give me a hard time at all. I was actually quite touched that you asked, especially as you are going through a lot yourself. I don't know what I would have done without the support I have received here.

hey ladies!!!! :D :D :D

sorry ive been MIA for so long....but ive been trying to keep myself busy since ive been on maternity leave and trying to get lots done before the little one arrives. i've also been getting VERY strong practice contractions these last 3 days so have been taking it a bit easier but have been very tired. wow, lots going on here though!!!

firstly, MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to steph and hope on your BFPs!!!!!!!! thats excellent news and your betas sound fantastic!!!!!!! well done!!!!

mir - i think i read somewhere that there is hope with your dh's swimmers?? thats great news!!!! we had to do IVF/ICSI coz of male reasons but were lucky enough to be able to use dh's sperm. the fact you get the chance at your dh's baby is just amazing!!! so pleased for you!!!

nimble - good to hear from you!! no doubt you must be busy, what with the T5 stuff going on. bless you. wow, cant believe you're well over half way there now, thats brilliant!!! and SO pleased to hear you bought something.....about time!!! lol....but i know why you havent and thats completely understandable. are you feeling little one a lot more now??

welshbugger - thinking of you hun. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

pequele - great news on numbers and palpatations....sorry you've had to go back to hell today!! x

angel - so sorry to hear you've been feeling crap. but this site is unbelievable support. and like you said, its weird how people on here sometimes know more that you're feeling low than "real life" friends. we're all going/have gone through the same thing so we can all identify. and its great, great support. make sure you come on here any time you feel like it!!!! xxxx

rachel - hey hun, glad you're still around and the b/p has settled. not long to go now hun......it will all be worth it very soon. xxx

god, there are so many of us now.....hi to everyone else!!!!!! i promise i'll try a bit harder to come on here more and keep up.

xxxxx

stephjim - just remembered to come back to answer your question.....they dont do betas in the UK generally so cant help there unfortunately. as for progesterone.....i never had jabs but always had pessaries, right from EC. when i got my BFP they told me to stop them (which was 2 weeks after ET) and i've not had anything since....but i know ever clinic is different. it did feel weird stopping everything once I found out about my BFP (in actual fact i stopped everything one day earlier as i got my BFP a day early due to being in hospital with OHSS and being tested early)...after all those drugs, to then just stop seems wrong, but it must be ok!!

You sound a little down? You ok?
Thanks for checking in with me Mir. No I am not down. I was just expressing to Angel that she is not alone in the way she feels. I do the best that I can each day. It's just the way it is. I put a great deal of effort into keeping the PMA each and every day and it is something that I have to work at and it takes a lot focus and determination. I just wanted to share that with Angel because I can relate to her last post.

Hope you are well. And thanks for checking in on me. You are a good friend.

Stephjim, congratulations on BETA. You are on your way. Thanks for thinking of me. I am not "Down In The Dumps". I'm actually doing pretty well. I guess what I've been expressing is the general IF complaints. They don't go away. It's been almost 2 years for me now (2 years with a specialist that is) with lots of ups and downs in between. So I am never quite right. Thanks again for thinking of me. Remember... I am going to a new RE with lots of confidence and fresh ideas. PMA.

I will look at the myspace stuff when I get home. Can't access it from work. Glad you are well.
