Hi Everyone!
I am glad there are a few of you with me on POAS! I can't wait. I actually already have 3 tests waiting for me. :) I think that means I'll probably be testing the 3 days before my beta.
Clearly I am ahead of myself. I had my u/s this morning. So far I have 7 follies measuring 10-12. I am now waiting for the call of what to do next and when to come back in.
Kbear, here's a link for POAS info. It talks about different sensitivities and stuff. It is a pretty humorous and informative site. http://www.peeonastick.com/hpts.html
I had a chemical pregnancy last time so I am actually thinking of buying a test that is the least sensitive this time around.

Kbat - I have never given myself the progesterone shot myself. Would your DH be able to give it before he left for the meeting? If not, I do believe you can do it. It is amazing to see all that we can do in these cycles. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

J&C - I think everyone is different and it is completely normal not to feel anything. Especially at the beginning of stims. Last time, I had 24 follies and didn't really feel bloated until the very end. I never really felt the soreness until the ER. I have to say though, I was quite emotional. From stims right on through to the beta test. IrishHope and JustJenis - Loopy didn't even begin to cover it. My DH said he wasn't looking forward to the 2ww because of what the drugs do to me! He was kidding when he said it but I know there was definitely truth to that. Good Luck!

aims327 - I am sorry to hear about your BFN on the hpt. I do hope you get your miracle today. Please keep us posted. You are in my thoughts.

Morning ladies.. just want to update on my status. My ER yesterday was a breeze, I couldn't believe how fast it went by. There wasn't too much discomfort/pain after but I still took it easy and let my DH pamper me the whole day ;-) They were able to retrieve 4 eggs out of 4 follicles. Got the fert report just a few minutes back - apparantly only 2 were good quality and fertilized through ICSI. So the bad news is that there will be no frosties but good news is that we are still on for this cycle. I will be starting my PIO shots this evening. Scheduled for ET on thursday. No blast for me because we did ICSI.

IrishHope - thanks for the tips on the PIO shot. I am dreading them though ofcourse I would be soo happy if I have to continue them for several weeks!!

itsgottawork - looks like your follies are growing well... sending lots of follie vibes your way.

aims327 - sorry to hear about BFN. Please keep us posted on your test today, hoping you get the miracle you want.

JustJenis - good luck with ET today.

J & C - I never felt a lot of bloating/discomfort during the whole stimming process. Maybe thats because of my poor response - we only ended up with 4 big follies. SO guess everyone is different.

Regarding POAS - I have decided that I am not going to do it. I will just wait for my test on 3/10 to tell me what happened. With HPT there are so many uncertainties and for me a BFN with HPT will only make the subsequent wait for test at RE's office much much harder.

indierad - glad retrieval is over and you are on to transfer...wow you test hte same day as me and I had retrieval on 2/21 - I think my clinic does not do preg tests on weekends so I have the 8th and 9th as pergatory dates...
honestly the PIO are totally manageable! I dreaded them the most but you can do it! I know I said this already but if you put a warm washcloth on the area right after and massage in a circular motion it helps overall...
Good luck!

you are strong not to POAS...

AIMS327---sorry to hear about your bfn    . I really wish you the best for the future. Try not to give up. I was almost going to give up after #5, but decided to give it one more shot. In the end, I know matter what the outcome is, I am glad that I continued onward.

I will let you know how the shot goes tonight.

aims327 - I am so sorry about your BFN. It really stinks to get that result after going through so much. The good thing is you do have 7 frozen embies. That is HUGE and very encouraging. I wish you the best of luck in April or May.

indie_rad - Congrats on the ER. I am glad to hear it went well and wish you all the best on Thursday!!!

kbat - good luck tonight. I hope it is quick and painless!

Aims - I am so sorry that it didn't work out this time around! It must be very difficult now but, I do agree, that having a plan for your FET's is probably comforting. Stay positive.

Kbat - good luck tonight. You are brave and you will do fine. My clinic told me that I have a 3 hr. window for progesterone. I guess it's better to be conservative about this stuff.

I did the shot. Whew it's over w/. I gave myself all the other shots, but something about trying to do it in an area that you can't see so well....Anyway, I looked in a full length mirror and used the other bruise marks as a guide. It was a little hard to push the needle in and to know if I pushed it in all the way, but it appears all went ok.
