Hi all, well I'm thrilled - my little sausage was moving around - her / his head bobbing for the camera!! Heartbeat looked great and 22mm CRL which is good size for age (bless) apparently. I'm really chuffed because you can get really paranoid between scans can't you? I'm now officially signed off from clinic and handed over to midwives - my first appointment is 6th Sept so I'm excited about that and then my 12 week scan a week later so only 3 weeks to wait now. I don't know how i'm going to cope in later pregnancy when it's occasional monitoring - I want a bi-weekly scan like Jacs suggested for ever more!!
Lil P - glad scan went well - hurrah!!
Cycy (sorry - not quite sure on name) welcome to site and congrats on your BFP!!
I'm off to do rounds with photo now,

Cheryl,
Great to hear the little one was fine and moving around.. you can relax for thr weekend at least till you start worrying!! I say that because its inevitable.. personally i manage to be ok till abt 3 days after the scan and then the jitters start.. "what if ?"kind of jitters!
have a nice weekend all!

Know exactly what you mean Smita - I've warned my friends that I'll be around for a few days and then I'll disappear into paranoid hiding again until the next reassurance point!! Still - I've read a heartbeat at 8 weeks gives you 97% chance of going full term so I'm goiing to make myself relax a bit. Have a lovely weekend everyonexxxxx

The scans can be a blessing and a cure. What a reasurance! But what a stress between each one! Can't imagine what it was like for my mother, she never had a single ultrasound while pregnant with me! Ahhh! Granted, getting pregnant was a breeze for her so I doubt that she worried the same way we do.
Lil P, I looked at your ticker and tomorrows the big day!!
loong journey huh??We've all come a long way and theres a long way to go too!!
Haven't seen you burning the boards yet so me thinks you're having a nice lie-in..
Enjoy!!

Morning all - it's quiet this morning - maybe everyone's having a lie in Smita? I can't sleep at moment - too excited looking at my scan pictures. I went and did a food shop, got some bits and pieces and was home by 9.30am - I'm not usually out of bed till 11am! Now I'm lazing around watching films - life is delicious!! Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend.

Hello All,
Found the courage to come and join you on this thread.
This was my 3rd (and final) IVF and I got a BFP on Friday (well, Thursday if you count the hpt I did).
Needless to say I've been on cloud 9 ever since. Now I'm begining to worry - can't wait for my scan on 8th September to see how many. The clinic said that my levels were high enouh for it be possibly be twins (343) - I'd be delighted. Mind you I'd be delighted to see just 1 heartbeat too.
Will be dropping in here fairly regularly no doubt as my nerves and questions begin.
Best of luck to all.
Love
Debbie

We went to see my parents yesterday - it was a great a whole day of being fed and pampered and doing absolutely nothing, just the life!!!
Not much to report really. My bump is now a beauty - DH bought me loads of absolutely beautiful designer maternity clothes yesterday, talk about being spoilt rotten!!!
Having a lovely restful day at the moment, but will be going out later to the pub to meet friends - although hush, hush is still the word at the moment.
