yo ladies!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

ok, here i go.....

angel -   about randy. bless your dh!! the sun is out here again so more baby stuff on the line but it keeps clouding over...will it rain or wont it?? :? how are you today??

icsi -   yes, i can say photobucket.....listen....P H O T O B U C K E T.....lol....actually, i tried posting a picture of me on there yesterday (at 36w+2d) but it kept freezing so will have to figure out how to do it before she arrives!! yes, i think we're going to call her elliana (and then she'll be ellie for short)....but will definitely know when we see her. angel was right, i did mean i missed the conversation about randy....     but OF COURSE i'll miss you ladies more!!! having said that, who said i'm going anywhere when she's here?? give me a few days to settle and i'll be right back on here....you cant get rid of me that quickly mrs!!  as for the moses basket....hhmmmmm, i'll find a picture and post it on here rather than try and explain it. didnt get the stand in the end as i said i would have my brother for my mum (she's a single mum and works p/t) and although i was going to take him with me, he's not been well and his temperature shot right up just as i was picking him up so decided to bring him back to mine and give the stand a miss. i can pick that up another time. right, let me finish writing the personals and i'll find a picture of a moses basket....i dont know, the things i do for you....

stephjim - glad nimble sorted you out with a recipe...i'm not one for cooking, dh does that. maybe i should ask him...  yes, cant wait to be next... :D ...not long till your scan now hunny....xx

hope - woooohoooohooo!! so pleased you saw a lovely heartbeat. i can understand your worry about the next 2 weeks. you'll be fine though....we wont let any other outcome happen...only a good one!! LOVE the scan picture!! definitely a girl!

su - heyyyy!! great to hear from you!! wow, nearly 24 weeks already!!  thats crazy!!! how you feeling?? forgot you were from essex....funny you should say about hope dh isnt too far away when it comes to it...he delivers mainly to essex and london!!! you'll probably know ive gone into labour before he will so maybe you can let him know if he's your way??   great to hear that you're cutting down soon. its definitely worth it. i worked full-time (except for when i was in hospital of course) right until i was 35 weeks, then that last week, only worked about 3.5 days and it was sooooo nice. enjoy!!

nimble - ah hun...i'll come and help you out....right, what do you want me to do?? guess what....only 9 weeks and 1 day to go till your mat leave!!! woohooooooo!!!! sorry you're not seeing much of the sun....you certainly will when you go on mat leave though (by then it will be gorgeous) and it will so be worth the wait!!!

welshbugger - so you're still reading eh but just not posting?? thats so allowed and so part of the whole thing...think we've all been there at some point. you know where we are if wanna join in!! 17 days of d/r done already??  OMG, thats gone really quickly. (i'm sure it hasnt for you)....not long now till you start your stimms....xxx

chriss - where are you honey?? how did the results and the mock transfer go????

steph ---- hope you made it thru all of our reads to see that yes, shantala enlightened me to what a LORRY is!!! had NO CLUE!!! i don't think i saw one single "hell sucks" in your reads --- WTF?? you lovin it these days???? ha, ha, ha, ha!!!! kidding............. ok - so another question on "timing" --- did you have your insemination of DAY OF your surge (when you were still POAS - OPK's) or day AFTER?? i swear i'm going to drive myself crazy trying to figure out the PERFECT TIMING!!!!
nope wasn't in hell yesterday I was working at the hospital. i was training with a chick that wasn't all that great in training that is for sure...in fact it was quite boring as I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

timing huh, nope. When I got my surge, I went in 24 hrs later. You are supposed to O 24-48 hrs after the surge. Fer me tho, the only one that worked when I did the pee sticks I called them when my lines were just starting to get dark, they weren't even tho...the next morning they were even and that was the day of my insem....SOOOOO Just go mad I guess haha. I personally hated those damn sticks! I felt like they didn't work, cuz that cycle #3 was all screwy with 2 surges, cycle #1 maybe was timed right but then my luteal phase wasn't long enough I dunno. ARRGGHHH! Are they monitoring yur follies at all?

steph --- nope!! atleast not initially (monitoring my follies) -- they basically said, "it-is-what-it-is"..........OH, but i'm also NOT doing a "trigger" --- they said like to try complete "au-natural" timing and just do-it based on when pee sticks show positive.....and ya get the best "sample" when there's been no activity for about 3 days (no fun times for hubby leading up to!!!) ha, ha!! so am just trying to time so that we have "good amount of days" in him --- timed perfectly for the day i get my "smiley face" on my pee stick!!!!! good-grief --- the things we go thru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i know i need to come out from under my rock!!! i'm tellin ya --- i've led an extremely sheltered life!!!! i grew up in about a 3 county radius in the same state and have pretty much been here my whole life!! went off to college -- but even that was in same state...........so i just have to rely on my bff's out here to ENLIGHTEN me!!! it's all good....i'm a real good learner!!

nappies are cute!!! do they just fit on OVER the diaper? or are they actual cloth diapers???? (YUCK!!! i'll take the disposable ones thank you!!)

I think nappy is just another word for diaper. These are reusable cloth ones but I bought disposables. Those are just scary
hope wrote: Su - Congrats on slowing the week down to 3 days!! That's fabulous! I wish I could already!! Glad you're buying some stuff. Let us know when u decide on the pram, I am clueless and hoping that you all will give me some direction!!
My favorite at the moment is the Britax Vigour, not sure whether to go for the 3+ (3 wheeler) or 4+ (4 wheeler) tho'. The new Mama's and Papa's Herbie looks good too but some reports say they're car seat is heavy.
ICSI GIRL wrote: su --- you and nims need to just get your butts in gear and get your prams purchased already!! silly girls..........i'm sure you'll be quite happy with whatever you end up with considering the amount of research you've done!!! oh yeah, thanks for the info on IUI stuff too..........so i guess i'll pose same question to you as i did steph ---- what day was your actual insem??? day OF your surge or day AFTER???
The lady in the shop said I should order the pram at about 6 months so I figure that gives me a couple more weeks of indecision yet
My insem was the day after trigger but they were never bothered about the exact time of it. For this cycle I had the trigger at about 10.30am and insem the folowing afternoon (about 3.30ish I think). If I'd had a natural surge they would still have got me in anytime the following day.

Yeh I'll look out for him and send him back asap.
It'll be so good to reduce my hours. I'm using a lot of holiday up to do it but it'll be so worth it I think especcially as the weather gets warmer.

Rachel - All the best for tomorrow, little Ruby will be here before you know it. Will be thinking of you.

Hope644 wrote: As far as the relaxing - i don't think a mom ever relaxes from this point forward - am right, ladies?! ;) I dunno, but I'm 35 and my mom hasn't stopped yet. But, for me, this was the time during my last pg that I lost my little one. Everything was fine at 6w, saw heartbeat, all was well with the world. I had no problems during the next 2 weeks but when I went back for the 8w U/S, there was little growth and no heartbeat. :( The scary thing was that I had no indications that anything had gone wrong. I think Chriss went thru a similar experience.
Yes Hope, I did go through the same thing. (Terrible time)

I am glad that you saw heartbeat. I know that you just want to get past that 8 week marker for sure. Keep thinking positively.
