Becky - Thanks for that, I did WebMd earlier today and it just scared me so I gave up, but from Dr. Becky's research my money's on Pruritus ani - an unknown reason for the itch... but it's more of a burning/itching like a yeast infection but of the bumm. I don't know...

But thanks Dr. Becky!!!

I have started an IVF fund through Ebay, so far I've sold old flatware, a penny (for $15!!!!!), an old home brewing beer kit, called Mr. Beer, a phone amplfier and my old palm pilot. Now the IVF fund is up to $170 so we have $19,830 to go :?

Why didn't I meet you all earlier? I just joined this forum less than a week back, and already feel more positive with getting so much support and guess what? We now have a pan of action!!!! :D

Right, so this week we shall make an appointment with the GP and get her to write out a report/ make a referral.....ask tons of questions.

We'll fax the report to Hammersmith (CarolynB, we have decided to go there after all). And have a first consultation if necessary.

My lap is in June (thanks to you, I called the hospital and at least know when to expect it!!!).

I've made an appointment with the consultant at the hospital for mid - July, hoping that the reports of the lap will be ready.

Then we'll let them refer us to a fertility clinic on the NHS.

With the results of the lap, we can get on the waiting list at Hammersmith to begin treatment.

Can you even imagine what a relief it is to know roughly what we're going to be doing? I was feeling so lost, and as we haven't told anyone but immediate family about our fertility issues, it was really taking a toll as we didn't know who to turn to. Thanks to all of you again!

Aunty P

As others have said, you are more than welcome. Did a little jig when I saw that you were going to join in with us in the waiting game.

So fab to see you again. I have been wondering what you are up to. New house ehhhh. What's that all about???

Lovely to see you here.
Love and hugs

-----------------------------------------------------

Melissa - can understand your worry but sure that doctor is just seeing you to put your mind at rest. Hope that all is going to be just fine

Angel - so glad that you have a plan. Any questions about HH then just shout out either here on on the HH thread. Are you seeing Mr Trew or Mr Lavery? Have PMed you some more info re-op codes that might help with insurance for the lap. Hope so

Rachel - how did the weigh in go today?

Becky - what a medical researcher you are

Shantala - what news on the new job??? Hope that it is going well

-------------

So AF appeared over night. Just 1 day later than expected and 5 days later than normal after tmt. So D1 bloods day today at new clinic. They are very nice and welcoming. Booked for a scan a week on Friday so D11. More bloods at my local hospital tomorrow so at least I feel like I am moving forward. Just hope all this testing is worthwhile - it has cost me over £1,000 in the last week!!

Better dash as doing this while I dash down lunch at work.

See you later gators.

hey aunty so great to see you again - hows the house coming along - have you a moving in date yet, sorted out your colour scheme for the nursery yet??

Becky - way to go, I'll certainly support you - i normally do the race for life at work but hoping that this year I can't do it as I should be pg !!! Perhaps I should enter anyway - you know if I don't then I won't be, if I do perhaps I might be :? get my drift??

anyway getting back to you, I think it's fantastic - keep us updated with your training progress.

Angel - a plan - thats brillant - it really helps you focus at each stage and you know where you're going. good luck with the referral.

Mel - hows the bottom - not long to go.

Rach - I did wonder what you did, especially when I saw yr post at something like 4am ! uummm making cakes yummy. 2lbs is 2lbs which is better than no lbs and they say that the slower you lose it the better in the long run - well done, you should be pleased - it all counts.

Hope yr DH is ok, some people are so wrapped up in themselves - how dare they...!!

Carolyn - thank goodness, I was getting out of breath with all the AF jigging, so glad she came. it sounds really positive that the clinic is doing all this investigation (I know at a cost) but atleast you know everything possible is being done.

well no run for me tonight - my hips have seized up today  think I may over done it last night.

Jackie xx

Jackie - I am with you. I am like bring on all the tests. The more that they find out the better. I just hope that it will all uncover some piece of the puzzle that Hammersmith missed for me. I guess I am hoping that there is a magic answer - yeah right. Well if your hips seised up then they must have had a lot of exercise :?

Rachel - 2 lbs is good. I know that you lost 4lbs in week 1 but it is bound to be a bit more gradual. When I went to weightwatchers they viewed 2 lbs as a really good week. Look you have lost 6 lbs in just 2 weeks. That is almost 1/2 stone. That is a 1/6th of your target. That is a great achievement. Go girl. Sorry about your dh and his job. Really sucks. You make cakes - now I understand why you have to get up so early. It must be so hard to diet with all that food in front of you which makes 6lbs in 2 weeks an even bigger acheivement

Becky - good on you. Will go and take a look after I cooked some tea for dh. Cooked being an exaggeration. Warm now so some salad as trying to be healthy

Jen1d - where the heck are you? Gone to Spain already   HA HA

Shantala - your new job must be keeping you really busy as you are MIA again hun

Sophie - have a fab holiday

Melissa/Jackie - Thanks for jigging and wishing me well. AF is well an truely here. :D at the same time!!

Mel - good luck for tomorrow - hope that he can reassure you & give you something to calm it all down

Aunty P - cannot wait to get chatting with you again hun

Big hi and hugs for those that I have missed.

So she is here. Went for D1 bloods at my new clinic. They were very nice and not too long to wait. They open at 7.30am which is great. So was out by 5 to 8 and in work early. That helps especially as will need to go there lots and lots for testing before and during tmt. They booked me for a scan next Friday on D11 to check that I am going to ovulate naturally. They said that they'd call this afternoon with test results. Got call. FSH is at 4.4 which I think is pretty good. Know that is one where lower is better and can get quite high at my grand old age so really pleased. That is also the one where if it is high, then they make you wait for a low month to start tmt. So decided to be positive and figure that if it stays low that I should be able to start next month as long as all the other tests are ok. So altered my ticker so I can look forward. ARGGGHHH. Positive about it only being a month away - maybe - and also s*** scared as this will (probably have to be) our last Fresh go. OMG OMG OMG. Cannot believe that I could be that close to the end of it all - but long way to travel yet. Stop getting ahead of myself by months!!!! Anyway, the main thing is that it is another test done and it seems alright. Local hospital tomorrow early again for bloods (Hep B, Hep C and HIV). All done already but more than a year ago so need to be re-newed. Just keep getting all those tests done!!!!

Enjoy your evening ladies. Best get some salad ready for me & dh. All exciting around at my place!

Love and hugs to you all
