aims - so sorry to hear about your BFN :( :( :( please do not give up...those frosties made it for a reason :) :) they were meant to become your BFP...please keep us posted on your upcoming FET.

kimbers - I thought i would reply to your ? i am taking lupron for 2 weeks, then add on gonal-f (similiar to follistem) then few days later, add on repronex (similar to menopur)..so I will be taking all 3 at one up to trigger shot.

Well, I took my first Lupron today....finally getting this ball rolling :P

Talk to you all later.

Feeling like I am gettin a sore throat. I've been drinking fluids all day and it seemed to help, but know I seem to be developing a cough :? . Just hope that it doesn't affect anything :? :? (I know I can't take any over the counter stuff, and I am just hoping that it's because I got 2 nights lousy sleep and am feeling a little run down.) Anyone else ever have this happen to you?

*HUGS* Aims I'm sorry that you didn't get your BFP.. but you will. When your body says it's the right time.. It'll happen. Take some time for you.

I went in for my ET today. Was there for awhile.. apparently i was the last one of the day.. Wish that had told me that prior to me drinking from 230pm on LOL! But all is well. Everyone was right. Didn't feel a thing. The worst part was laying there for 20 mins before going to the bathroom. We transfered 2 5day blasts, both were picture perfect he said. 100+ per embie.. Not that I know what that means LOL! But it sure looked good to me. Got my embies pics on the fridge.

Going to take it easy for the next couple days. Do y'all think it's ok to sit as opposed to laying around?? I have a hard time laying on the couch/bed for hours on end.. but if I can sit, without walking around unless need be.. I can do that.

Thoughts??

*HUGS*

OHHH! And I test on 3/6!! NEXT WEEK!!

I don't know what I would do without everyone's help. Thanks for everyone's response! It's so nice to be able to ask questions.

aims327 - I'm so sorry about the BFN. :( We'll pray that the frosties are perfect for round #2. **HUGS**

kbat - GREAT job on the shot!! If we're pregnant on this first round, I'll have to take a 1 day business trip in April and will have to give myself the PIO shot too. You've given me hope that it can be done.

kimbers312 - I've been on Lupron since 2/13. I started Follistim on 2/24, and I'm still waiting to hear when to start Menopur. I think I'll start it at the end of this week though.

JustJenis - Go embies....go embies. :D

justjenis--I think sitting on the couch will be o.k. My clinic said to take it easy--to be a couch potato and they also said that taking it easy does not mean bedrest--just no housework, etc.--so I think just hanging out on the couch watching tv all day will be fine. I also test on 3/6.

I hear you about the bathroom thing. I thought it was the most uncomfortable thing.

Went to bed early last night. I still am tired, but don't feel the sore throat, cough, etc I felt coming on. the past few nights I didn't sleep so well--kept getting up a million times to go to the bathroom, but last night I did sleep betters, so hoping that feeling like I was coming down w/ something was just due to lack of a good night's sleep.

Morning!!!

Kbat -- That is wonderful news that the flu has passed you by. Nothing worse than that.

I woke up this morning, after MANY trip to the bathroom throughout the night, exhausted! I can't remember the last time I felt this tired. It's insane. But, you have to listen to your body. Ya know? I have offical done nothing LOL! OHH wait, I did make an omelett but that surely isn't work :)

*HUGS* Good luck to everyone.. There are more ER this weekend right??? I can't remember everyone is moving so fast. I'm sorry all

MRS. G: Congratulations on AF :D your ET will be close to mine. Doesn't it just feel wonderful to be getting the show on the road.

KBAT: That is great that you were able to give yourself your own PIO shot. I don't know if I could. I had to go to my DH's college class and we found an empty stairwell one night for him to give me my PIO shot for my last cycle.

JUST JENIS: My clinic said 24 hrs couch potato time, not bedrest, so you should be fine just relaxing. Some clinics say three days, some none, everyone differs.

COURTNEY: Your follie count sounds great, especially before stimming. W/ the microdose Lupron protocol, you should have great results.

I got my first microdose Lupron shot this morning, so I am thrilled to be starting again. Two days of microdose Lupron every 12 hours, than I add Gonal-F and Menopur. Back in for my next "stick and stir" (bw and us) next Monday.

To all of those stimming: "GO FOLLIES GO" Image

To all of those in the 2WW: I am praying for the BFP's to start rolling in. Remember you are: Image

Everyone take care of yourselves, you are all wonderful and brave women and I am glad we all have each other for support!!!!!!!

kimbers312 - I took lupron/follistim/menopur. Took lupron for nearly 15days starting with 10units and going down to 5 units when I started stimming. The menopur started same day as fsh. I took those for 9 days before they said I was ready for ER. But I guess everyones protocol is different.

Mrs. G - congratulations on AF!!!

JustJenis - Glad to hear that your ET went well and the embies look so great. I agree that laying there for 15-20minutes with a full bladder is not fun at all. Had to do it for all my IUIs and the only thing I could think of during that time was bathroom!!! I am going to take my ipod tomorrow and try to distract myself with some music.

kbat - congrats on giving yourself the PIO shot!

courtney - that seems like a great great follie count. Can't believe that you haven't even started stimming!!! Also thanks for keeping the calendar up to date.

Good luck to those on stims - sending a lot of follie vibes your way. Praying for BFPs to start rolling in!

Hello Ladies -

Kimbers - I am on Lupron and Follistim. No Menopur.. what does that do I wonder?

Kbat - I was sick for 8 days! Terrible flu going around.. It seemed neverending. The nurse said it is only concerning if I have a temperature. I never did, fortunately. And, man, you are a trooper on giving urself the PIO shot! Kudos!
I had my first (hormone induced) meltdown last night. It was terrible.. it lasted an hour. I was bawling and could NOT get myself to administer the shots.. (even though I'd been doing it for 15 days).. so my DH had to do it and then I was fine. It was craaazy.

Good luck to all!

I forgot to ask 1 question on my last post. I have ET tomorrow morning at 9:45am. DH will drive me there. The notes from my doctor recommend bed rest for the day. We are planning to meet some friends for dinner tomorrow night - again DH will drive. I just have to go there, sit, eat and get home. That should be fine - right? I am planning to take it easy the next couple days.

Indie... I had my ET yesterday and I went all by myself :( I drove in rush out traffic and then just came home and vegged out. Taking it easy is fine. Just don't want to lift anything or do alot of turning/twisting motions I was told. You can sleep, sit, small walks to and from. Just nothing stressful.

I'm been going between the couch and the puter LOL! That's one flight up, one flight down. I think you going to dinner with friends and RELAXING would be wonderful for you. THat's what the important factor is.. RELAXING!

*HUGS* Sticky vibes to you hun.

P.S. I had no discomfort after ET :)

IndieRad - I read that the way to determine if you should or shouldn't do something during this time is "if you will question it if this cycle doesn't work" - like "should I have gone grocery shopping 25 hours after transfer?
I dont' think anyone can say for sure what is right or wrong regarding going to dinner...it sounds harmless enough though...Good luck w/ E/T

courtney - congrats on the 15 follies...great news.

kbat - I knew you could do it! Good job!!

Question: when do you think it really is ok to do a HPT? do I base it off of my HCG trigger shot? or E/R or E/T date and count out...remember I am the one whose clinic has me out to 3/10 even though retrieval was 3/21- that's 18 days! No way am I waiting 18 days...
