FYI - off the web...I think fatigue is very normal...so anyone on the PIO or any form of Progesterone thought u might find this helpful...

The rise in progesterone that sustains a pregnancy causes many women to feel tired continuously. The rise in HCG might also trigger the tired response too,

Progesterone has a sleepy effect to it and makes women much more tired and want to sleep more or later.

Sue Hu - I have had HORRIBLE headaches while stimming. I am not really prone to getting them although I do tend to get one every month before AF. But, they usually go away and I don't worry about taking anything then. These are brutal though. I have found that decreasing my exercising helps and getting plenty of water.
Good luck with them! I am now on day 10 of stims and for the last day or two they seem to have gotten a lot better.

Thanks all!! You guys are the best. I asked the nurse prior to getting the replies here and she laughed and said "Oh yeah, all very normal". I scheduled myself a spa day tomorrow. Hour massage, mani and pedi!! I requested no scents though cause I can't stand anything that smells lately.

I can't WAIT!!!!!! Should be heaven

THOSE DARN CRAMPS!!! They really mess w/ your head. I had them all during my 2ww my first cycle. I had pulling, I had sharp pains, I had cramps, I had everything and still a BFN. Those darn medicines just mess w/ your head so much. I had every symptom, sore boobs, nausea, the cramping. It is so frustrating. All I can offer is, keep the PMA and try to relax as much as possible. (I know that is so hard and everyone tell us that).

As far as headaches, I find that stims give me headaches as well, and I rarely get them.

Oh well, I am glad everyone is doing okay. I am off to my Acupuncture appointment. Have a great day everyone.

been having on and again off again cramping. Nothing too major, but sounds like it's par for the course. I've been feeling really tired--hard to get through the work day. Oh well, it's worth it.

Ladies - I am officially PUPO now! Had my ET this morning and it was a breeze. We put back the only 2 embies we had - they were graded as 7B and 6B. The doctor said these were considered as good quality. I didn't get a picture of the embies for my refrigerator.. oh well I will save the space for my first u/s  Now I just hope these embies decide to stick and stay in for the next 9 months  I am going to assume that things have worked and pamper myself till the bloody test on 3/10! That might be the best way for me to get thru the 2ww.

JustJenis - the spa day sounds so heavenly.. For the massage do you have to tell them that you are in 2ww so they do things accordingly??

Hang in there ladies.. its hard to resist (and easy for me to say now) but try not to analyze every cramp or other symptoms. In the past that just made the 2ww much much harder for me. Just relax and pamper yourself... you all deserve it!

Good luck to all the stimmers.

Indie.. I don't know to be honest. I told them I was pregnant and went through Fertility.. AND that i wanted no scents cause right now.. everything makes me yucky. I only get swedish massages which are VERY relaxing. Nothing deep and hurtful for me. Besides I bruise so easily these days I'd look like a battle field LOL!

Sue - I'm so glad you asked the headache question, because I've been getting them too. :? And I never get headaches.

I had my first u/s today after starting stimms. The nurse said all of my follicles were below a size 10. What does that mean?

We add shot #3 (of Menopur) tomorrow.

J&C - The nurses are measuring all your follicles to determine when you are getting closer to ER. By the time I was ready for ER, my follicles ranged from 15-21. I'm sure everyone is different though on size. They also determine when you are ready by your E2 levels.

For the ladies (Irish Hope and Just Jenis), did your doctor make you take Estrogen supplements/Estrodial? I went in for my 8DP 3DT blood work and the RE put me on Estrogen supplements. I was wondering why...and if others had this experience.

Morning Girlies!!!

Kate -- They did not but I do understand why. They check our bloodwork to make sure that the PIO shots are taking.. which increases the babies being sticky :) And the Estrogen as we all.. is a must have with this. Sometimes throughout the drugs the Estrogen drops a little. Which is why they put you on it. It's nothing to worry about. Just making sure all your ducks fall into place hun. I thought for sure I'd be back on the estrogen but I was ok this time. I just went in yesterday.
When do you test hun??? Isn't it coming up ??

*HUGS* How ya feeling? I woke up this morning tired, aren't we all, but otherwise feeling great!!!!

Spa day for MEEEEEE today!
