uhhhhh ---- yeah, don't ya remember the PORN episode on my home pc??????????? is the reason my computer at home is all f*#*&'d up right now!!! cuz of stupid virus!! anyway -- yep, they are 14 & 16.... and both are MADLY in love!! (or atleast they think they are!!)
love those kind of days at work!!! enjoy your wine and telly girlfriend..... i'll be out of touch for the weekend i'm afraid.....but atleast back to work on monday.....
OH - did i mention that i POAS (hpt) this morning??? yeah, i'm not generally the POAS kind -- but we're doing this charity event at my hubby's work tonight (is an annual event that our family ALWAYS volunteers for -- is great fun)...but anyway - we always have a beer (or two.....three....) during and after the event and i wanted to know if i could participate --- so while i got bfn, it is only CD27 for me and i'm a pretty routine 28-30 days for AF -- so is still just a tad early, but it was one of those "test up to 5 days early"......so i think i'm ok for a beer this evening!! hey --- gotta CHEERS to something right???? so CHEERS to my next cycle!!! (au-natural......still hoping for dh's super-sperm to kick in!!!)
Yes, I remember the virus episode with your computer.....14 & 16 - yeah thats when you are soo totally in love right. Thats the age when you can't posiibly think of any other problems you could possibly encounter. Aahh....let them enjoy it. Gosh I sound like an old woman
About POAS it is way too early for a natural cycle. The doctors usually advise you to POAS 2-4 days after a missed period. So go easy on the beers. Now I sound like someone's grandma
I'd better get off before I start advising everyone here.
actually --- 14 & 16 year old boys -- not really IN LOVE....... more like in LUST!!!! this is the very age they develop the dreaded "thinking with our penis's" disease!!!!! believe me when i say they are mostly thinking with the wrong heads these days!!! (lucky for ME -- i believe my boys are still virgins......for now anyway!!!)
i know you're right about the beers.......and i agree......but i was thinking that i could probably get away with ONE --- especially when ya weigh in the odds ---- we've been TTC for about 5 years now and continually get nothin!!! so i'm kinda leaning that direction now as well --- NOT that i'm being pesimistic -- because i'm not that kind of person --- BUT..............speaking of beers/pregnant -- i just found out the other day that my grandma smoked & drank beer like fish all day every day during BOTH of her pregnancies!!!!! (and my dad and aunt are both seemingly normal people).....anyway - yep, says that is just the way it was back then!! (wow!!)
We have a 4 x Cell Grade B embryo on board, Dr VERY pleased with quality said that we had a very well behaved embryo and its on par to hang around fot the next 9 mths .... so im officially on the 2ww - oh god here we go again lol ...
Hope everyone is doing well - thank you ALL for being here for me, i have taken every bit of advise u have given, ive stocked up on pineapple juice Ems and invested in a round cusion to keep around my tummy for work and at home i dont care what i look like - as long as it works
Im being chased ladies - gonna have a wee lay down, just HAD to let u all know ... thank u all my friends - and in the lyrics of Ms Turner - you are all
I know, some women seem to drink alcohol and caffeine by the bucket, smoke, and yet manage to deliver healthy babies. And here we are trying to go to the other extreme by giving up everything and nothing happens!!!! Not fair. Actually my RE did say that women should continue to do everything in moderation after ET as there is really no medical backing that complete rest = BFP. Even he said that some women go out on wild parties and get so totally drunk before they find out they are pregnant. So ya, you should be fine to have 1 or 2 beers.
Have fun tonight. Is it one of those dressy dos? Swanky evening gown and the works???
beck is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yipppeeee!!!!! so beck -- when is official test day?????? we need to know!!! also adding to what all the gals said ----- also RUB your tummy while talking to yer lil guy.......he likes that too!!! absolutely THRILLED for ya sweetie!!! (oh and i didn't have the pleasure of cycling w/ you before.......just so that i can get my "speech's" all lined up ---- are you ???)
oh yeah....and angel -- just fyi, my very bestest friend in the WHOLE world (she's one of those bitches that got bfp when she "wasn't trying" --- bless her heart!!!) anyway.....she drank bucketloads one weekend at friends wedding --- and it was an all weekend event - let me tell ya!! yeah -- she didn't know it at the time, but was pregnant.....and she has beautiful little girl.....no issues.....and of course she didn't sip another thing once she found out!!! just goes to show........
far as outing at dh's work ------ NO, is not a "glam" event by any means!!! is actually an outdoor walk/run event......raising money for ---- hmmmmmm, not sure of the recipient this year --- it changes from year to year (breast cancer, diabetes, etc......) last year was for domestic violence prevention.........that being said --- we always wear jeans and sneakers!!! is partly why is so much fun cuz we're all very comfy!!!
Since it is Friday, does that mean this is a 2-day transfer? My clinic usually does 3-day transfer. So if ER was on a Tuesday, the transfer would be on a Friday. Seems like different places do different things. I've heard of some places that will only do a 5-day transfer. And I think I heard of a place that did a 1-day transfer!
Sure that pillow thingy will look real sweet around your belly. Ha, ha. Where'd you get it? Stay warm and I did hear the pineapple thing too.
Great news Becky! I will be willing that embie to stick now! All my prayers are with you honey.
Glad you've taken the little titbits of advice I gave you! I remember having a jumper tied around my waist for 2 weeks whilst at work, and every evening I used to sit with a blanket wrapped around that area watching TV. Another thing I used to do was take myself off to bed early, about an hour before DH, and just have some "me" time. I had a good book and a cup of decaf tea and just chilled out. I swear all these things worked for me, rather than spending the 2 weeks stressing out all the time (although believe me I was anxious of course, after they told me to prepare myself for the worst!) and of course I prayed hard and spoke to the little embie every day!! Nuts I know, but it just helped me get through it
So, good luck again honey. Stay positive, sending you lots of PMA and sticky baby glue!
When is D-day?!
