ICSI GIRL wrote:my dear beck - why on earth is your account at the bank in the red???? (rhetorical question)........i'm an accountant by "degree" and let me just tell you that my check book balances to the PENNY every single month!! the thought of my account being in the red makes me crazy...... in fact - i won't allow my younger sis to talk about her accounting skills when it comes to her banking cuz she's OFTEN in the red and it quite literally drives me bonkers to hear her speak of it -- so it is now a topic that is off limits w/ us!!! ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!
I am with you on this one Angie. I can't bear the thought of my account being in the red. Becky, you need to give your money to us to manage. We'll give you spending money and invest the rest for you (and cause you're such a good friend, we won't even charge you management fees  ).

On the other hand, you do have a reason for that - you must have spent a fair bit on Brian's 40th, is that it?

Now I sound like someone's mother.....

Oh, I so do want to be a mommy for real...... :(

oh good god woman -- you just HAD to tell me those things, didn't you?? all i need is encourgement of my madness!!!!! thing of it is --- i'm quite certain that i'm actually HYPER-SENSITIVE to all the twinges and cramps -- which makes me second guess the "validity" of it all to begin with!! you know -- as in, have i completely lost my mind???!!!!!  :? (don't answer that!!)
you

It is true that you may have become hypersensitive, but if this month is different, then maybe not. Or it could be the stress, but then you have been stressed before. Look, if you are already losing your mind thinking about it, you may as well try to think about it some more.

Orders from Doc Ang are that you need to take your temperature tomorrow morning before you get out of bed (or even tonight if you have a good enuf thermometer).

Carolyn, what a fab idea going to a health farm to chill out. Your follies will have a good relaxed vibe to grow in. Enjoy that, and enjoy the time spent with your Mum. Its really nice of your GP to sign you off work. Hmm.... I think I will ask too for my next go instead to taking time off. On Apprentice - like everyone I wan't too impressed with Claire, but the transformation has been amazing. Yeah, I'm for her to win too. Apart from her I wouldn't mind seeing Lee win too - I know he lied, but we all do to a certain extent and he is a hard worker, good salesman, and always upbeat. More than the lying the thing that put me off him was when he had a go at Sara. Maybe I'm just partial to him cos of his looks. But if their team loses the task, then its gonna have to be between Alex and Helene. And I have a feeling that AS likes Alex and the fact that he is raw and can be mounled. Can't wait for the final.

Ummm...... Becky, those are wigs we are wearing, or have you forgotten already? You could be anyone of those 3.

So what diet are you starting? Is it Slimming World? I hate the idea of actually going to one of those clubs and getting on the weighing scales. I also really want to shed some pounds and most of the time I'm really good with my eating habits. But when I fall off the wagon its big time and thats my downfall. When I'm having some of those low moments, I really don't care and will demolish all junk that I can lay my hands on.

Any tips for me would be appreciated.

WOW - Look at her move ;)

Yeah i started Slimming World - i find its the only one that really works for me - i think thats due to the fact that we can change from red days to green days - and am allowed to eat as much as we like of the free foods lol ... oh and bacardi is only 2 syns lol ...

I find it really hard to start off - but usually after the first few days im back into it - and when i can see the weight comming off each week it motivates me - but - by the time i get to about a stone (14lbs ICSI lol) and people start noticing ive lost weight - i tend to jump off the horse i was riding and get on the donkey again - eat everything in site, thinking oh i can have this cos ive been good - its a bit like smoking - if i was to hae 1 puff again im sure i'd be back to 20 per day lol
