Hi all welcome to a wet Monday Morning :?

pequele- After i lost my 1st nat preg to ectopic and therefore my left tube. I took clomid for 2 months and wass preg the 2nd month on just the 1 tube. So i think it helped me get preg. Roll on next Af and your tmt start...good luck x x

carolyn- Hoping ET goes ahead today and all is well with your 7 embies...sending you many hugs and tons of ***BABY DUST***. Looking forward to hearing how it all went. x x

Aunty- 9 days to the move eh! betcha can't wait to get in nd have your first nights sleep in your new home. It's great that your doing all the painting and decor 1st. then you can move in and relax :D Had a laugh at the mocha /yellow incident ha ha men Eh! sounds like your house will be lovely and cosy with all the textures and colours you have chosen. x x

Shantala- Good luck for the impending stimming...what stims are you on? I had problems stimming and getting more than 3 eggs. Hope you get a BIG batch load love x xx

Jackie- I totally agree with you about my naighbour....it's only the strongest that take on the challange of ivf/iui. Good news on the NHS support, that will help and to get a consultant date in Aug is soon for them too. Took me 4 months to get a tmt revie when i did an NHS cycle. so well done on your GP. It will soon be here. Hope all is okay going back to work. hugs x x

Gill- sorry to hear about new issues with your tmt. It does sound like they are sorting ut the best for you though. I have been in contact with IM getting ready to send out ll the pre- info and they have beeen replying the next day on e-mail quieries so thats good. What film did you watch the other night anything good? the patches you are on are they eostrogen?

jen- how are you doing today hun. any luck on a sooner or cancelled appointment? sending you big hugs

Hi to rachel, becky and everyone else i have missed...

Emotionally i am fairing better so far this week. I think it is deffo all been down to AF and hormones. although still no full flow ( now 2wks 4 days late) I was so PMT'ed on Sat. feels a bit like being on IVF meds. On Sun morning i had more of a flow but it stopped at lunch and agin no more flow. Emotionally i do feel better though so it has helped a bit. As Gill said it is probably due to stress of appointment looming. i dont feel stressed just excited about tmt at this stage. But you never know what Af decideds to do at important times   On a positive note we have emailed IM and are sending off details of last tmts and blood info by snail mail this week.

So time line is My friend is up from London this week wed- sunday, then next week DH is getting swimmers tested and then IM week is week after!!!! :D

love to you all must dash as i'm late for work now.

love jen

Morning ladies :D

I havent gotten out of my pj's all weekend - i was so shattered when we arrived back late on Friday night, that when i got up on Sat morning, i had to clean and sort out all washing (bear in mind we left eldest daughter home alone - house was a tip lol) went in the bath Sat afternoon, put my fav jim jams on and havent go out of em since  I will get dressed later on tho, i have a week off work (wippieeeee) so must do something positive with it .....

Pequele: Hello, how are you? Glad to hear ur appointment went well, i have a friend just like u who is doing IUI (she has her appointment in Aug) and in the meantime has been given Clomid to use, it being up to her if she wants to take it. She has used it for 3 mths before and nothing happened for her, so she is in 2 minds weather to start it again. I know that she didnt have to do trigger shot or anythiing like that - she just started them for a few days once her AF started (summit like 3 or 4) and that was it, they produce more eggs i think so when she was 'doing it' at her fertile time the chances of at least one eggs becomming fertalized was increased - but to no avail. She is 38 this year and has 'unexplained infertility' - i hate that 'unexplained' explanation!! Hope this helps, i could tell u of her side effects if u wish to hear them, i sometimes think that maybe it better not to hear tho, as u analyize everything expecting them. If u want me to ask her anything let me know - she isnt a member of this group - i think she feel if she joins a group then its real - its a fact that she has problems and doesnt want to face up to them - everyone is different. She's my best friend so usually comes to me with questions lol - if i dont know the anwsers, i come here for her  Hope this helps hun xx

Aunty: Phew - ur still decorating - what a job eh? I bet ur shattered. I dont mind doing one room every so often, but the whole house in one go - i would have lost the will to live by now lol. I never received no pics of the decorating - just the outside of the ranch, and the back of u and Sams heads on the veranda (decking lol) But i have a horrible feeling i may have deleated it by mistake  When i was on hol, i checked my email thru the internet on Brians lap top, and here was loads of junk mail that i clicked to delete - after it had gone i tht - ohhhh im sure i saw one from usbrummie  sorry if i did - could u re-send em so i can have a nosey. Thanks - im like a tit lol. Dont blame u for sleeping in a bright yellow bedroom - men just havent got the foggiest idea about colours have they lol. Brian usually leaves that up to me - each time we decide to decorate, he never likes anything that i do but i nag and dig my heals in so much he says - right - have it ur way  I have one claret red wall and the rest cream in the living room, and have all matching pine furniture - he hated it on the tin but loves it now its up - just have to trust a womans instint lol. Anyway, im glad its all comming together for u and its lovely to heqar from u (even if i do delete ur emails - BY MISTAKE!!! lol) xxx

Shantala: Give ur DH a big hug from me, he has been doing well after his op - its hard to get over summit as dramatic as that - and to be living with u aswell - the man needs a medal (hahaha - just kidding hun) Im not sure what days ur looking off work, i cant figure it out - so u want this Friday?? Or the Thursday and Friday for EC week? Think u are gonna need EC week deff - Was u working the last time? Try and remember how u felt, will u be 'fit' enough for work. My EC was on a Wed, so i took that off (obvisouly lol) then the Thurs, then took Friday too as it was ET, then had the weekend to relax before work on Monday. I think u should relax after ET and not rush back to work hun, ur a very busy bee at work and u dont want to be too stressed. I will be taking at least 2 days after ET to relax this time - i know its hard being at work at a time like this - but u have to think of urself and ur embies, much more important than work :) So what do i need to change on the list for u then? Let me know and i'll update it xxxx

Jackie: Im sooooooo sorry hun, i didnt mean to make u cry :( I j ust wanted to say how wonderful u are - s'all  Glad u have an appointment with consultant already, it will be good to have a plan set up, and so VERY pleased that u booked a holiday. U so deserve some time out, but im not gonna start being sloppy again, u know what i mean :) Hugz to u and DH Xxxx

Gill: Hope u enjoyed the film, which one was it? I love going to the cinema - i love the pop corn more than the actuall film lol, there nothing better than pigging out on popcorn watching a movie - making or buying ur own at home just isnt the same. Hope u enjoyed xx

Rachel: Gonna try and stick to my weight loss plan (not that i had one lol) but if i can lose 4.5lbs in one week, and on holiday then i must e able to do summit at home. Mind u i have been thinking, my AF was 9 days late, maybe she had summit to do with the weight gain before and after - either way, im not giving up yet - i can do this <Becky stands up and vows - go forth and be thin - er lol> Hope u enjoy ur hols too hun, and i hope the=is shite weather brightens up a bit, im so depressed with the rain now - im sure i have that S.A.D syndrome lol, need to go and buy some lights lol xxx

Carolyn: Hello you :) Congratulations on having such great quality embies :D They sound perfect and are heading to a much wel deserved pregnancy. I love the fact that ur putting 3 back in, gives u a much better chance. What time are u expecting to be hearing from the clinc today? Did u go back to work? Sorry for all the questions, but im so excited for u, excited that u might be getting ur wee ones home today, but also excited that u might not be because they are 'front runners' and are waiting untill Wednesday - Ooooooo the excitment is too much for me - u have to understand, this has all happened so fast for me lol, last time i was here u was still a drugie lol, now ur about to become a mummy :) Let us know whats happening as soon as u can hun, i have everything crossed for u and am sitting at the PC awaiting ur news. Good Luck Xxxx

JenB: How are u hun? Hope all is well, sorry i missed u before i went away, its hard all this IVF lark isnt it. and as for ur neighbour - well im sorry, i would have had to put her right! It really annoys me how people can sit there and judge when they ahve NO idea what we and other women are going thru!! I know i already have 2 children, but that doesnt mean that my want for one with Brian isnt there because of that. These people just dont understand, and have no right to judge when they dont know the half of what u have been thru! I recently sat and told Brians brother and his wife what we are doing, they were so shocked that we had already had one shot, they were shocked that i actually wanted another child having 2 teenagers and wanting to start again. But what they also were, was supportive. I think u need people like that around u, sod ur bloody neighbour, she's an arse (sorry for language) and if she opened her eyes to the world around her she would realise that IVF isnt something to turn her snotty nose up to, its a miricle of life and an option to hundreds and thousands (Bloody millions actually) of couples whom want the joy that she has everyday with her children! Bloody cow!!! Hope ur feeling better about it hun, dont let her get u down - we are here for u thru thick and thin, take care xxxx

Jen1d: Hello :) Am i right in beleiving that u have to pay for counselling?????? No, thats not right!!! Ur meant to get that free weather ur a private patient or on the NHS! Thats is wrong if they are making u pay for it!!!!! I cant beleive that, im gobsmacked (makes a change for me lol) My clinic (private) offer it free, and my clinic (NHS) offer it free too - how come u have to pay????? Im so bloody annoyed at that now :x Did u get a response to ur email from the clinic??? Keep us posted :) xxx

Phew ladies, sorry i didnt mean to make that such a big posting. Will wait for news about Carolyn, then off shopping ..... Catch u all later ladies, carolyn - GOOD LUCK :D :D :D

Things seem to be sorting themselves out now for us all, the thread is starting to become a little more cheirey now (spelling crap i know lol)

Right, i better go and get dressed and get out of these pj's lol

Hi buddies

Carolyn - Cant wait to hear how you got on today. Bet 12 o'clock came round so slow but lets look on the bright side, your embies are back home and snuggling down with Mummy

JenB - Got you must be feeling so crap. I will defo do an extra bit of jigging for you for the ***** to arrive  Not long to go now, you must be getting excited---or anxious??

Becky - PJ days, dont you just love them. My clinic do give free counselling but they only have one counsellor and she works just two days a week. I told them last week they need to get another person but they are not interested. She sent through some info today about using ed and although its interesting, i need to see someone

Am running off to work at 2.30 so this is brief, sorry and hi to everyone else.

Called the Dr today and cant get off work to attend the app with dh this afternoon so he is going alone and will ask our Dr to find us a counsellor a.s.a.p.
Clinic emailed today and told me to continue my medi until the 7th Aug then after my af i must start the patches so my body is synchronised with our ed-------does that mean they have found us one??? I emailed back straight away but still no answer  :?:  :?:
I am getting more frustrated and annoyed by the day aaaaarrrrrrrhhhh.

Ok must get ready for work

Love to you all

Becky and Jen Thanks for the info. I'm not so worried about the side effects of the clomid (I'm a pharmacist so I can look all that good stuff up. Most the time I take it all as a grain of salt anyways until I "feel" something then I look to see if it could be related to a med I'm taking. I'm just debating as to whether it will help my cause, speed up the process, etc. I have been on b.c for awhile now so I have no clue if my body knows what to do anymore on its own haha.

New question I have is I just got my OPK today so I can "practice" this cycle. Hopefully next cycle I'll be a pro. I got the Clear Blue Easy brand.
The questions I have.... It says to do urine any time of the day but to
have not gone within the last 4 hours. My RE said best to do 2nd
morning urine. Well my 2nd morning urine CERTAINLY isn't after 4 hrs
of the 1st. What should I do? Just do the first one of the morning?

Also, I have heard many people do a morning and a night test. What does
that help? How many people recommend that? Neither the RE nor the box
suggest this. Now I am confused.

Thanks again guys for your help!

Really quickie as meant to be chilling & feel shattered

Jen1d - certainly sounds like they have a donor for you hun. WOW!!!!!!!!

Clinic called at about 10am to say 3 front runners so ET today at 12 noon. We had to wait almost 2 hours for transfer but it was then done by the top consultant at the clinic so no complaints. We had an 8 cell and 2 6 cells back. All good quality (even and clear) and two were starting to compact. Transfer took ages but pleased that he was taking such care. With a half full bladder so not as bad as in the past. Had acu before and after transfer which was great. Have a complete drugs cabinet to take. Progestorone (twice per day). Ritidone (4 times per day). Clexane jabs (1 per day). Plus baby aspirin (once a day). The other 4 embies are - 2 7 cell, 1 5 cell and 1 4 cell. They will allow them to carry on for 2 days to see if any make blasts for freezing.

Test a week on Saturday which will be 12 days after 3 day transfer. At least not a work day.

Consultant really encoouraged me to take this week off work. So I told some more tales and told them I was signed off. They'll be mad with me but this is more important.

Will catch up and do personals tomorrow. Thanks for all the support. Means the world to me.

Love to you all.
Carolyn

right I'm back, had my daily dose of BBrother - sorry but charley has just got to go, can't believe she is not up for nomination this week!!! So dislike her.

Gill - hope you have a lovely time tonight - not too much vino I hope

Carolyn I'm intrigued - did they explain what you're cocktail of drugs is for? I've only taken progestorone and just wondered what ritidone and clexane do?? Oh, I meant to say, fingers crossed for some frosties, but then again you won't need them when you have your triplets.

Pequele - welcome, and good luck with IUI. Sorry can't you with you with your pea dilemma - I would go with the first one of the day though!!

Becky - have you managed to peel those pj's off yet - what are you like (just very jealous as I had to go to work !!) So what are you plans for your week off ?? Hey, be sloppy any time you want hun - you bring sunshine to my pc

Shantala - poor DH, hope he is ok - what have you been doing with him eh  Sounds like you've been under the cosh a bit with work, so def take some time and go with hubby. Hope today has been a little less manic. Hey, saw Aunty comment about Charity to you and went on to her myspace site, wow what fantastic news - she was so down after the last failed IVF, really pleased for her.

JB - whats up with your AF - she comes, then goes, then comes, then goes...not surprised your stressed - I'll do a little jiggy around the room for you.

Off to have tea, waiting for DH to come in from footie, always bloody late, so decided to eat without him, its nearly 20.45 and I'm starving marvin - its always just one pint after....uummm it must be one hell of a pint glass!!

Have a great eve, hugs xx
