Hi Ladies! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Courtney - I am so sorry to cycle is cancelled. It is good you were able to discuss it with your RE and get issues out in the open. I wish you all the next in the future!

Keita1981 - Good luck getting AF. I was late this cycle too. I am sure she will be there before you know it!

Welcome Anne Marie - I have no idea about multiples but wanted to congratulate you on your BFP! Great beta numbers!!!

J&C - Congrats on surviving the shots! I do believe they definitely get easier as you go along.

RunnerKate - Jenis said it best. You are definitely pregnant until proven otherwise!!! Stay positive. My dr also said that we will experience both AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms during the 2ww and that we can't worry about it. Good luck. I hope Wednesday gets here quickly!~

AmandaM - Welcome. I wish you the best when you test on Thursday. I really hope you are in that 10%!

Brandy - Great news that your embryos are doing well! Good luck with your transfer!

IrishHope and kbat - I am SO sick of the snow! I had to shovel my way out for a Saturday u/s and bw. It seems every time I have to go in it is bad weather. I can't wait for spring!

kimbers312 - Good luck with your retrieval! I am on the same schedule! I triggered last night and will have my retrieval at 3:15 tomorrow afternoon. I am getting very excited. Just a few more days until the 2ww. :)

Good luck to everyone testing this week. I am feeling many BFPs coming our way!

To everyone waiting, hang in there. It will be our turn soon!

I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. I will be keeping my fingers crossed!

I have a question I hope someone can answer. I have been having a little spotting for a week now. Have any of you had spotting and still gone on to have a baby? With my HCG levels being so long I feel this is another bad sign.

Thanks

itsgottawork and kimbers - Good luck with your retrieval tomorrow.

Well - I'm very depressed. I had another "stick and stir" (b/w and u/s) this morning. I have plenty of follies on both ovaries, but they are still too small. My RE is increasing my Follistim for the next couple of days, so I'm praying the follies will grow to the size that they need to be.

I just feel sad. I'm going to be really disappointed if we have to cancel this cycle.

Hello Ladies! I hope I can also join this thread with you. I have been stimming for 4 days now and this board has helped me immensely so far.

J&C-I have your same fears about follicle size; but rest assured it seems they can grow very rapidly during an ivf cycle. I did some internet research and found they typically grow at least 2-3mm a day during a stimulated cycle. But I also have found some firsthand accounts of women who say that they show much greater growth rates than that after only a few days. So hang in there:)

Thanks again ladies and good luck to all of you!

J&C... I know EXACTLY how you feel. But if you remember, I went through this very thing. They actually mentioned canceling my cycle cause they were to small.. but within 3 days.. they grew like weeds!!! So don't you give up hope.. you take your meds.. talk to those little follies and encourage them to fight!!! It'll work out. Things change so much from one stick & Stir to the next. Ya know?

Good evening ladies...

thanks a lot for your replies. I dont' know if i posted it or not, but AF showed yesterday. I do have an update for you all. Thanks again for your quick response and your answers.
May be some trigs in the message.

So, i went into today to have u/s and b/w. ok the u/s scared the crap out of me. the doc whom i never seen before came in and did u/s and she wasn't easy at all and it hurt. then she proceeds to say well that is probably due to this HUGE cyst on your ovary and i'm like WHAT? I'm thinking to myself, i don't have cysts like that except for when i ovulate. and that has been about 2 weeks and plus i was on lupron, so how in the world could it be a cyst. she acted as if she didn't want to tell me anything...then she says it could be a hydro in the tube. I'm thinking to myself, hold up a minute. I had surgery 12/29/07 to remove BOTH my tubes, so how in the world is there a hydro. it was on the side my RE closed up, so i know there will be no leakage per the hsg i had recently. Anyway. So i get the call and thankfully everything is a GO! So i asked the nurse that called if it was a cyst and he said the doc noted it as a hydro b/c my b/w came back good. So, now i'm going to make a call to my RE tomorrow to find out what the heck is going on and why my tube is still in. He didn't perfom the surgery on 12/29/07 an OBgyn did as I was in the emergency room due to an ectopic. Anyway, enough rambling. I start my follistim tonight. i have to take 300 units tonight along w/ 10 units of low dose hcg and also reduce lupron to 5 units. of cours dh and I are taking the antibiotics. So, monday going forward i'll be taking 150 untis of follistim in the AM and again in the PM. I go in Friday for b/w and u/s. so wish me luck!

I'm sorry to hear how much you have gone through over the last year. I hope this time it will work for you. I just had my second blodd test of my second cycle and my HCG levels are really low. When you had your eptopic pregnancy did your HCG levels so up low? I am hoping that isnt what I have. My level were 9 on 2/26 and 16 on 2/28. I have had spotting for 9 days now.

I hope this cycle works for you.

Can't write much as I am to be on bedrest, but wanted to let you know that I had a successful transfer today, but the embryos were only 4 cells. Has anyone had success with this low of a cell count on 3- day transfer?

AmandaM--back in Dec. I did a post that was entitled something like Can anyone help--i'm confused or something along those lines and it talked about some of the things you are going through.... If you do an author search under my name (kbat) and scroll down, you might want to check it out and see what others had to say about my issue. Back during that cycle, I had to 2 embies transfered. Now, I am going to give what may be TMI--so I apologize in advance. I did have some bleeding (but more than spotting) and I had cramps. At some point, it seemed like I passed some tissue. After that the cramps stopped. I just assumed I had a misscarriage b/c I had one natural pregnancy and it was the same thing that happened when I miscarried then--only difference was I was about 8-9 weeks along w/ the natural pregnancy. But then at about week 5, they did u/s and discovered it was etopic. The only thing I can figure is that one embryo just didn't make it and the other settled in my tube. I wasn't in any pain or anything that they seem to indicate that I would have. i am not trying to scare you are anything.

Have you told your clinic that you are spotting etc.? Good luck to you.

BRS888- I had 4 cell embryo, but it was a day 2 transfer. The paper the clinic gave me seem to give hope w/ even a 4 cell embryo was a good thing...

Kbat

Thanks for the info. I called my clinc after i first noticed the spotting (before the first blood test) and they said they werent conconered. Over the weekend it has gotten a little heavier and more red. I think I will call them back tomorrow. Tues will be week 5 so maybe they can do a u/s to see if it is a tubal.

Thanks
Amanda

Jenis - THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! If I could reach through the computer and hug you, I would. I have been so worried all day long, and your post has given me so much hope. 3 days is exactly what I have, so we'll keep praying that those follies grow. I have a massage tomorrow, so I'll just keep thinking about what you said and try to relax. Thanks again!

Keita - I am so sorry you're having to go through all of this. What a mess! Let us know how it goes on Friday.

Brs - Congratulations on the transfer! Can't wait to see your BFP!! :D

Hello Ladies!

I have been MIA a little bit as we have some friends visiting from out of town.
I tried to catch up w/ all the new developments..

So, just a brief update on me.. I had B/W done Fri., then Stick & Stir :-) on Sat., Day 6 of stimms (they meausured my 2 largest follicles to be 10 and 11 and decided to decrease my Follistim) and some more Stick & Stir tomorrow AM and then I should find out when I trigger!

Thanks for all the feedback on those of you who have also had headaches. Apparently, it is quite a common side effect.. my IVF nurse confirmed.

IndieRad
- you have such a great attitude, GL!

Jenis - You are so cute, you are wonderful at lifting spirits. We are lucky to have you on here :-) GL!

Welcome to June, Amanda and Anne Marie and GL!

Mrs G. - GL w/ FET!!

Courtney - so sorry things didn't work out the way you wanted them to this time around. But, I believe, things happen for a reason. I am sure things will be great next time around!

Brandy - GL to those 2 precious embies!

Kimbers and ItsGottaWork - GL on upcoming ER's!! (p.s. Kimbers, I have also started having clear discharge as of yesterday, Day 6 of my stimms)

RunnerKate - Keep up your spirits! You have been so essential in keeping ours up.. stay strong!

J&C - I'm sure upping of the Follistim will do the trick.. believe! :-)

I hope I didn't miss anyone.. if so, sorry and GL to you too!!

Sue
