Thanks for that enthusiastic reply Miracle! it,s great to make your acquaintance!
And Nimble, thanks for explaining, too! it's great to chat with you again; it's been a long time since we were on the same thread!
My confusion originated, I think, from the comment I read on the second thread that says it's not exclusive to pregnant women... but I think I'll stick here!

I totally approve the decision. Yes, it's hard sometimes to read about pregnancy stories and see pics when you haven't been blessed yet. And it's also not a guarantee that the thread you join in the "pregnant" section will go on. The thread I started for the November mummies has been inactive since June! Ouch!
Okay, so I guess I'll learn more about you lovely ladies in the coming weeks. For those who don't know me, my name is Sophie, I live in Montreal with my husband Christophe, our dog Daria and our cat Moira. A medical faux pas gave me an infection, which destroyed my tubes. Three surgeries, two IVFs and one FET later, I'm still alive!
I am now fully recovered from my last surgery (May 30th) and my body is in the best of shapes to become pregnant again. Given the surgery's successs, our BFP in March, and the clinic's amazing success rates at the moment with FET, we're very confident that we'll get pregnant again in no time. It still hurts a lot, sometimes, to think about the events surrounding my miscarriage, but I'm okay and enjoying life to the fullest! However, given the poor support we were given by our relatives during the miscarriage, we decided to keep our attempts and results a comple secret until the first trimester is behind me, maybe even more (only my best friend and my sister know).
I just started a new FET protocol. I'm now happily sniffing Suprefact and taking baby aspirin. The charming downregging headaches started yesterday, still very tolerable though I feel the fatigue kicking in. I'm waiting for AF, which should arrive in the next few days. FET should happen around mid-August. Last time, we had very strong embryos and we're hoping it will be the same this time.
Other than that, we're in the last miles of a big renovations marathon in our new house. The house is amazing, but we're really fed up with all the renos. We're also about to adopt a little brother or sister for our dog. Right now, we're considering Shadow, a golden-Newfoundland-chow mix (he's beautiful! the size of a big golden). We still don't know if it will be a match with our family; we're waiting for the shelter to call us back.
There ya go! Have a great day everyone!
Sophie
