I had my Stick and Stir this morning. My RE was actually there, which is pretty unusual. I still am showing only 5 on Right and 4 on Left. Two on left are now >10. My RE is a great doctor, but he is not so much on the "touchy feely" bedside manner thing. He said well, at least two are growing, we need four to be growing to continue w/ the cycle. He said he will know a lot more when my bloodwork comes back and he sees my estrogen level.

Now, I am freaked out, because I don't know if I can handle them canceling my cycle. I am just an emotonal mess right now. This shouldn't be so hard for all of us. I just get so mad sometimes.

Well, I will sit here at my very frustrating job and wait for the phone call from my RN letting me know if we are still going forward.

Thanks for letting me vent!!!

kbear...go right ahead and vent. No one understands more than us! I hate this for you, between the not knowing and the waiting it is wonder we havent all gone completely crazy!!! I hope your RN calls you soon.

And remember, what is meant to be will be...thinking about it and agonizing over it wont change the outcome. I tell you this, in part, because I have to remind myself sometimes.

Thinking about you.

kbear4211 - I know this is all so frustrating but hang in there.. My RE had mentioned that they look for follies > 18 in size for ER, so looks like you still have time and the others might catch up. I hope they call you with good news soon!

itsgottawork - I will be praying for the 3embies to be of great quality tomorrow for the transfer!! Just hang in there and try to keep a PMA. I can totally understand your disappointment - at the start of my ivf cycle I always expected that I would see lots of eggs, lots of embies and be set for some FETs etc etc..I was sooo disappointed by my numbers, but then the RE said the 2 embies we had were considered good quality, So I am keeping PMA!! Hang in there.. Good luck with ET tomorrow.

Jenis, kbat --- hang in there ladies, just less than 24 hours to go till you test!!!!! Can't wait to see a BFP post!!

J&C - sending follie vibes your way.. I hope the follies have grown and you won't have to switch to IUI. Keep us posted.

Good luck to all stimmers! Baby dust to all...

kbear: Hang in there. I think every clinic is different. mine only needs to see about 3 mature ones to continue, although the last 2 had I had 2 big ones and one almost big one (about 15 or 16) and the want to see at least 3 at >17 or 18. I hope it works out o.k.

itsgottawork--good luck tomorrow!!! I only had 2 embryos they took for this cycle and only one fertilized and was ready for transfer. So try to keep pma.

As for me I keep trying to tell myself not to worry about the cramping and af symptoms. I know that lots of people seems to have the af symptoms, but it's making me nervous.

kbat - it's impossible not to worry when you feel like it's AF...i wish we all were puking at 630am and at the site of every food so we would KNOW and have symptoms as clear as anything but unfortunately we are in this a bit longer...I am praying extra hard for you!!!! Hang in there...

One more night and we'll know.. Atleast we get to do this together *HUGS* We'll make it. Our BFP is less than 24 hrs away. NO GIVING UP! We came this far... it's within reach my dear.

I got the call, and we are okay for now. My estrogen level did go up as they had hoped, so hopefully the other little follies are just getting geared up.

I will be scared for next US/BW on Friday, but my DH is going to go with me, so that will help. I don't want to be cancelled, but I also wanted more eggs this time (got 6 last cycle only 2 fertilized).

I am praying I stay on track.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL 2WW LADIES, BRING ON THE BFP'S!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Ladies - I had another stick & stir this morning. I only have 1 follie at 18 and the rest are still a little small. My belly feels like I'm a whale. My estrogen levels are great, so they want to see me back on Friday. I'm guessing I'm headed for an IUI, but we'll know on Friday.

It's just frustrating when you start one process which seems more definite, and you know how many eggs there are and how many fertilize. We've never done IUI, but it seems more of a "chance" thing than knowing for sure what you're dealing with.

kbear - Ditto and well said. Please vent - it at least made me feel better. You and I are on the same scheduled emotional roller coaster. I'm actually okay at the moment, but I can break down at any time. UGH!!!! Keep us updated on the cycle. I know it's very, very frustrating. I'm right there with ya.

itsgottawork - Good luck with the transfer....3 good embryos are 3 good embryos.

JustJenis & Kbat - I am so excited and can't wait for both of your beta tests. We want some BFP!!

I AM TOTALLY KNOCKED UP!!!! WOOHOOO!!! My first beta 14DP 3DT is 672. What does that mean?

J&C: I thought my belly was HUGE during the stimming. It felt considerably better after the ET.

JustJenis: I totally had cramps...and still do....doesn't mean anything!

KBear: I had a total freakout after I found out I only had 6 embryos. They wouldn't tell me how big they are, so I don't know about that, but don't worry about it. They really only need 2. Out of my 6, 2 were transferred on Day 3 and 2 were frozen on Day 6.

Itsgottawork: Only two. I repeat: only two. That's ALL you need.

Cornybaby: Any news?

Runnerkate - Congratulations! That's a great number!

I'm sad to say it's over for me. My beta went up but didn't double so they have told me to stop all meds, that it's a chemical. I might call tomorrow and ask if they will do one more beta. I just can't believe they are going to give up on me already. Anyway...it sounds like the end of the road for me...again. I'll check back to see how everyone else did! Good luck to kbat and Jenis...you two are testing tomorrow, right???
