I would - if there was someone to tell to bog off. I'm drowning on me own here. Everyone seems to be on leave now.

He's a member of my team, so unfortunately I will have to deal with it. But its annoying how no one thinks when planning their leave about how one person will cope with 3 people's responsibilities.
thing is Angel - more you do more they expect

What would they do if everyone off and you were sick - worth a thought - someone would have to help then!!!

Take a chill pill, relax and it will still all be there tomorrow

Saw a documentary on Discovery health the other day about couples having to go abroad, and featured Brussels and Turkey apart from the Spanish clinics.
OMG Angel - you have opened the floodgates am not sure how I am now going to decide - went to the 'other side' and logged on to fertility friends website - have now emailed clinics in brussels, Dublin, Barcelona and Athens - good reports for all with BFP's from all and good success rates - also found interesting forum on clinic I went to.. don't worry won't abandon you - there is like a million threads and so much to navigate!!

Just have to wait for them all to et back to me - at least paased a couple of hours with Dh away

catch you all tom!!

Hello ladies!

Wow, you guys have been increadibly busy these past 24hrs!!!

First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your enthusiastic replies. LOL Now I know what Miracle meant when she talked about extra glitter! Seriously, I'm overwhelmed, especially as this is an "awaiting treatment" thread. You guys really didn't have to help me sail through another cycle, given that none of you was cycling at the same time. And yet, you guys and this thread were exactly what I needed; a place where I could talk about anything, sometimes about my FET, but not exclusively about it. It was incredibly refreshing and I was VERY lucky to have you guys by my side. I really appreciate it, believe me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! :D:D:D:D

We just came back home; it was a busy but fun day. We went to the botanical garden this morning, then we headed to the clinic. They will only tell me my beta tomorrow morning. Lara, LOL, I don't know if it's twins, but we may have a clue tomorrow. I sure have a lot of symptoms... dizzy, nauseous at times, my IBS is acting on me too... but! Not complaining! :D:D:D

So far, my due date is May 3rd; I'll probably join a new thread before long. The Clear Blue HPT is dead now, so I'll have to buy another type of test and POAS so I have a positive stick to put in the baby's album. Silly, I know, but it's really special to look at a positive test. Other than that, I've fished out the pregnancy books I had bought last time (had stored them in a box with all baby-related stuff). Libby Purve's book, How Not to Be a Perfect Mother is still amazing and so funny!

On Thursday morning, I'll drive alone to Quebec city and spend some time with my family. I'll only tell my grandparents about the pregnancy. They will keep the secret, I can trust them. It's a bit lugubrious to say, but my grandma will turn 84 next week, and my grandpa 80. He has a double aneurism and can't risk a surgery. I would not want them to pass into the next life unexpectedly without knowing they have their first great-grand-child on the way. They raised me for over 6 years, so we have a special relationship. I'll spend the evening with my brother and sisters, and my father and his wife. Then I'll spend some more time with my grandparents on Friday morning, and I'll head back home.

Nimble,
Glad to hear that you're still alive! :D I'm sorry to hear that little Eva is keeping you awake at night! Poor thing! But I'm sure she'll get better sleep habits in no time! Hang in there dear! *hugs*

Angel,
Sorry to hear about all the extra work... will your boss be gone for long?

Welshbugger,
Awwwwwwww!!! Empty nest syndrome! :D:D:D I really hope everything goes smoothly and you DD has a lot of fun at university! *hugs* And I hope the distance brings you even closer! ;) And I agree with Carolyn; it's a good time in one's life! Adult enough so you can have more freedom, and yet young enough so you can still do silly things like there's no tomorrow, lol! :D

I'm sorry I don't do more personals... but you guys posted so much that I can't read all the last posts!!!!

Oh, and before I go... I guess it would be more appropriate from now on if I posted more on other threads? It's just that I don't want to annoy anyone with the baby stuff babbling (I understand completely!). But I do want to check on you regularly guys, see how you're doing, and if you're doing cycles during the fall (BFP! BFP! BFP!).

Take care ladies! :D

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwww Stop right there Sophie!!!!!!!

Yes, we understand u wanting go 'bog off' to the other side and i for one will be keeping my beady eye on you ;) BUT - that doesnt mean u have to. The only reason this thread was split the last time was cos there were so many other women who were pregnant an i flet that the thread was being over taken with baby pics each time we logged on we were bombarded with someones nursery pics, or pics of baby clothes they had got etc. I didnt mind this, but just felt that should we be given the choice then i would have preferd to have known they were there before i had logged on .... we dont mind u staying here but understand ur need to want to talk baby talk (as we would all be the same) but we dont want u to leave an forget all about us lol .... we want to hear about ur beta an what it is, we get excited for u too :)

What im trying to say is ....... every woman who has joined the awaiting treatment thread an have got pregnant has moved on to other threads, but we have all stayed in touch an keep each other going. Please dont feel that u have to 'bog off' cos it isnt like that at all hun, we love u an are so pleased for u, we want to share in ur joy as we do with all the other ladies .... so - when u get ur beta results, please let us know an please pop by to say hello every now an again..... your an amazing lady who's support i for sure dont want to lose out on ....

Now im off to 'the other side' to have a wee nosey ;)

Love ya :)

Xxxxx

Hello ladies,

How are you all doing today? I'm still very stressed at work and feel like throwing all the paper and computer away!!!!

Sophie - I second everything that Becky said. We are pleased for whichever ladies tmt has worked and always support each other with whatever we are going through. All we ask for in return is a bit of sensitivity. Thats not to say that we don't want to know how you are doing. So we'd better be the first ones to find out about your beta young lady........

Carolyn - Glad to have been of assistance :D . But we still want you here, so don't go away please. Have you had any responses yet from any of the clinics?

Becky - when does DD go off to Uni? Once you get used to being just the two of you (and god only know the things you'll get up to  ) you will probably enjoy your space. And bet they'll be coming home to do the laundry and see the two of you love birds.

Helllloooooo.........anyone else around?????

70% refund does sound good - but like you said, you won't be needing it. You get to keep the baby :D

I'm on the flare protocol, thankfully no long downregging involved. I'll go with my Oct AF.
