Heather its great to hear from you. Looks like work is keeping us all busy of late (keeping us out of trouble more like  ). All the more reason for you to enjoy your long weekend.

I'm so jealous of you girls in across the pond - you have one extra day off work :) while we'll be back on Monday :( . I know we just had a long weekend last week, but time off work is never enough, is it? Wish we had a law that gave us all the option of working flexi time - I would definitely be off every Friday afternoons at least!!!!

Carolyn, the clinic is Zlin sounds reasonable (ish). Well, I know you have loads of things to think about in terms of making a decison, so hopefully you'll be able to make your choices soon.

I hate decisions. It feels so much more relaxed when everything has been organised/ booked. Hmmm..........maybe we should hire a PA between all of us to do those kind of things for us

I know, I know.....wishful thinking!!!!

Angel- I'm here today:) dd ran a high fever yesterday that we couldn't break, then complained of pain while going potty, so we thought bladder infection. Well, I got sub and decided to stay home from work with her today. Of course she woke up just fine today. Go figure.
Oh well, I won't complain, now I get a 4 day weekend.
However, I must admit that I would almost rather be at work today and Monday. It's too early in the shool year to be taking a break.

So, what are your weekend plans?

OH man. Poor baby!! So she doesn't have a UTI? Are you still going to go to your brothers?

Yes, i agree. Inventory should be banned from March-November!!! But the people that make those decisions dont have to count in the humid hot nasty weather, so they dont care. Nope, no plans for the weekend. Just taking it day by day. I like it that way. I like to make plans sometimes but I like to just go with the flo ya know??

Where is everyone??

Hello ladies!

Wow, it's amazing to see how active this thread is!!!!

Miracle, Angel, Heather, Carolyn, thank you very much for your kind words! :D I put them all in my pocket!

Can I just precise a few things about what I said the other day about over-anxious people? Because I think I might have been misunderstood there, given Carolyn's comment, and Miracle's. I really didn't mean to say that I would like to read positive things only on the threads. Venting is normal and healthy! Everybody has bad days, and it's normal to talk about it here! :D I apologize, really, if my comment seemed rude, insensitive or judgemental.

Miracle,
OH my, I'm sorry your DH got laid off... and I agree with the others, OF COURSE we're there for you!!! :D Has he started looking for another job? Does he have a few prospects? I really hope so! It must be very stressful for you guys, especially with ALL the things you have to do at work and the extra pressure and everything... *HUGS* I'm keeping everything crossed for him so he finds another job quickly!

hrobinson, Carolyn,
whew, works seems so busy!!! I really hope that the weekend will be quiet and fun so you come back to work all fresh and happy! :D Heather, what kind of group do you have this year? Do they seem like troublemakers or angels? ;) I hope your little cutie gets better soon; UTIs are not fun, and it must be particularly scary and unnerving when you're a child and don't know what's going on!!!

Carolyn, I hope your boss comes back soon! And that he'll realize what situation he put you in when he left!!!! wow! Is he an understanding boss usually?

Angel, don't worry about Labor Day! I'm sure you'll soon be able to tease about a holiday we won't have! :D

As for me, I just came back from Quebec city, where I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, some time with my youngest sister (we're quite close) and some time with my father and his wife. The 3:30 hrs drive back was quite difficult, but I made it in one piece. My furbabies missed me a lot!! When I came back, my boy just jumped on the sofa and lay down over me with his head against my cheek!!! Looks like the antibiotics are working, lol! And the dogs played together in the hallway, it was so funny!! DH was busy; he tainted and varnished more doors, and he installed the two remaining doorframes in the bathrooms. We'll install two more doors today! Yay! :D Other than that, I'll have meditation tomorrow morning (last of the season, snif!!!) and then we'll have a quiet weekend together before work starts again on Tuesday. :(

Okay, take care ladies, and have fun!!!

Hello strangers!!!! I just wanted to drop a quick hello and see how everyone is. First let me say Congrats Sophie.

So I will be around a lot more often now because as of yesterday I have been pulled out of work by my doctor. I had an episode of painless contractions at work last Monday and had to go to labor and delivery for like 5 hours of observation. Of course they stopped when I got there but they were only taking place when I stood up. Then this week my ankles (cankles) started swelling along with my feet and my hands some and my face is poofy and my BP was elevated at my last doc appt so the doc said with everything and considering my job is being a nurse, she wanted me out of work. So I have like 10-13 more weeks before the babies come. So I hope you guys can help me stay entertained.

Sorry no personals, had a midnight snack attack and could not sleep so going to try to go back and try. Talk to you guys soon.

Sorry Carolyn,

So so swamped at work. I started at 7.00 and still here, and will have to take work home with me tonight :( The boss was supposed to be back today - no sign so far :x . It would be good manners to at least inform me considering I'm trying (and failing miserably) to hold the fort. At the moment, everyone seems to have deserted me and looks like we won't make the deadline. But how much can one person do when there was supposed to be a team of 5????
