Looks like im on my ownsome lol ....

Hope u are all well ladies, no news here really. DD has moved to Uni and has texted me every day since things are much better at home (not cos DD moved out lol) things were getting better before she went. We settled her in and made her room lovely with fairy lights, girly things etc ... then we too her out for lunch and bought a cocktail so we could toast her good health and wish her luck - we had a great fun day. The hug she gave us when we left her there nearly made me run back in to bring her back home. It was sad leaving her there, but no doubt that half hour later she was partying lol. I know she been doing a lot of that this week already, she has been telling us where she been etc - sounds like she having a ball. Next week tho its down to business and some proper studying going on (ho ha ho ha!)

I watched that programme 'The Family' last night, and i have to admit altho i was sad for the parents when i watched it, i felt 100% better after watching it lol ..... knowing that im not the only one who's DD has been kidnapped by aliens and the aliens have given us a cloned body back .... she looks like our DD, but doesnt act like the sweet an innocent girl she once was lol

Its not easy admitting that things arnet a bed of roses at home, but u know what - i feel so much better for doing so, ive come to realise that we are a normal family - and these things go on in everyday life AND there are a lot worse case's of monster kids out there

Ohhhh ive made myself feel like im walking on air now LOL

Hey ladies, hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Haven't had a chance to catch up yet, but hope everything is ok with you all.

Miracle - hope you're feeling better, after having the weekend to rest up. I can't wait for your inventory to be over either.

I'm still sooo swamped at work. Boss got back and acknowledged that I'd kept things going, and also said that he's not going to be upset if we don't meet the deadline as it has been quite obvious there were too many problems and that it wasn't a case of us being slack. But I've still been working till late everyday including weekends trying to meet the deadline and effectively do 4 people's work on my own. The reason being that if we miss the deadline the work will spill over to the time that my tmt starts. And I'd rather not be stressed out at that time. So I've decided its in my personal interest to get this out before tmt. (And in the process let them think that I'm being very sincere!!!).

Anyway, sorry for the me post. Thought I'd just explain why I can't get online too often.

Becky - so glad things are better with DH I can remeber day my parents took me to Uni - dunped all stuff in my room in halls and went out for lunch - bearing in mind my citeria for going to uni was which was hardest place for my parents to get to on a weekend so they could not just show up - we lived in Leeds - went for interviews at Bournmouth, Nottingham and Norwich - ended up in Norwich - no motorway to get there - when they left me I remeber thinking - what have i done - I am miles from no where and know nobody - knocked on room next door and started making friends - best years of my life - well the bits I was sober enough to remeber!!!! - she will love it - but will miss you as much as you miss her - but she might not tell you that!!! - when does treatment start??

Angel - |I sooo understand where you are coming from with work load - think of number one - whatever will make life easier around treatment has to be most important - are you still waiting on AF???

Sophie - hope your ok and not chucking up to much !!!

been away for weekend to centre parcs in lake district - it was my mum's 70 birthday so they paid for DH and me and my brother and SIL to go with them - had well posh villa with sauna - been very active with walking, cycling and in excellent pool with all the slides and rapids etc - glad to get home for a rest!!!

nothing else to report - still waiting to hear back from Prague re appointment date - if get nothing this week will call them on friday.

Hi sweetie!!! I'm absolutely delighted that things got better at home before your DD left for uni. Yay! That must have allowed you two to part on better terms, which is amazing! Did she tell you about her roomates? Her teachers? I hope she'll make tons of new friends and party often! oh, and study once in a while too... How are you doing, about a week after she left? Thanks for what you said, by the way... it's tricky giving advice when you don't know the person really well, and I'm really glad it was a bit useful and it didn't offend you.. *HUGS*

FINALLY!!! Last week of inventory!!! WOOHOOO!!! hang in there girl, and please, PLEASE take one big cold nice beer afterwards! And treat yourself with lots of nice food! Hi there. Looks like your boss realized in what situation he put you when he left... it's only a small comfort, but at least it's there... So sorry work is still hectic... Will it be temporary at least, or will you have to deal with unrealistic deadlines again after this is done? Hehe, whatever your real motives are, I think it's great that you're clearing that all up before your tmt begins... october, is that it? Either way, I'm keeping everything crossed for you and I really hope your work life will become easier to manage very soon. *hugs*

Hi girl, nice to see you here on this lovely Monday! Your weekend sounded GREAT!!!! You always have those nice vacations, lucky you!!!! How is the weather on your side of the world? A bit chilly maybe? Must have been nice to do all those outdoors activities all the same! I hope you hear from the Prague clinic very soon!!!! There's nothing like writing down an apt date on your calendar!!!

As for me, things are good. My in-laws will arrive on Friday and stay for 17 days. I love them and I'm sure we'll have a great time. In the meantime, we're preparing the house, lots of cleaning... Plus we're trying to organize a trip to Quebec city to visit my family, but it's not easy. They're vvery busy and not very well organized. So it's complicated, always. I really hope we'll work it out though, it would be nice to have both sides of the family at the same table again (last time was after our wedding). I'm also trying to find a nice cottage somewhere not too far from Montreal, a place where we can bring the dogs. It would be nice to do some hiking wtih all the fall colors.

Other than that, the dog trainor came last Thursday. Whew, she stayed for 3 hours and we learned LOTS. We have LOTS of homework too! lol! But the dogs are improving slowly. It's nice to know what to do and not do and why.. what messages you shouldn't be sending, and so on. With time, I'm sure our dogs will become far more relaxed and we'll have fun interacting with them. They're both very eager to please, so it's almost easy. It's really funny to see our youngest sit down reeeeeeally carefully, as if he wasn't too sure it's the right thing to do. SO cute! Plus our eldest is really good with the "stay" command, even if she's still very nervous. The homework is not always easy though... LOL, try blocking TWO big dogs from jumping on the sofa when you can't touch them directly or look at them (because it gives them a super nice reward: your attention)... let's say I watched TV in veeery funny positions! Thank God I'm 6' tall!

Carolyn: DD IS loving it at the halls - i know when we dropped her off the first night, she met new friends (in the shared kitchen) as soon as we left and then they found their way to the local off licence (within 2 hours im led to beleive - more than likely the first half hour LOL) hehehe - she has met lots of new friends and so far is having a ball. She texts me most days which is great - cos i know she must be missing us and its always lovely to hear what she up to (last nite she was 'uptown clubbing' cos its freshers week) so i txt back this morning to see if she had fun and she said - oh yeahhh had a great night She came home at the weekend - an im sure she has changed already lol - i asked if she had lost weight an she gave me that look hehehe - ohhh to be 18 again! You make sure u get back onto those foreigners by Friday if u aint heard ntohing lol xxxx

Well im still waiting on this dam AF - she is now 10 days late, im bloated an fed up - wish she wud hurry up cos i dont think my (*)(*)'s can take much more strain and pain - i have to hold them when i run up (or down) the stairs lol ...... my chest is quite sore too cos they are huge ..... jeeze, im naming all the signs of being preggers lol - but im not i know that much ....

Yes, DH is still working out of town. He comes home Friday afternoons. It is ok. Not to bad. After this week, inventory will be DONE for the year. I am so excited.

I HATE IT! They should pay is $30 an hour when we have to do inventory. But...the good news is it is almost over!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
