Hi ladies!
Wow!

The thread is on fire! It's so nice to see so many posts!

I've been reading your posts and thinking of you all but never found the time to make one big post! I'll try to catch up the best I can!
Becky,
I'm SO happy that your doing EC today! I really hope they'll find LOTS of juicy follies today! I can't wait to hear about how many embies are formed; that wait for the embryologist's call is a real agony! You're a real trooper dearest, and I'm sure the staff will care far more about your lady garden than your make-up (or lack of), lol! I'm sending lots of good vibes your way sweetie! oh, and that boudoir bedroom looks fantastic!

Silk sheets and covers... mmmmmh... so inviting!
Angel,
Those last 2ww days... it's hard not to become obsessed with the test day, and the "what ifs"... *hugs* I really don't understand the "no blood test" policy of some clinics. Some of my friends still tested negative on their HPTs and they were 40 days into their cycle... and they still had a healthy baby 8 months later. I'm sending lots of sticky baby dust your way dear!
Hey guys, we sould help Angel and Becky with the wait! What did you do, during your 2ww, to keep yourself entertained and calm? Here are some of my tricks:
Invite friends over for dinner
Cooking
Knitting
Going to the movies
Watching TV
Make DH a happy camper (like he said, I've still got a pair of hands and a mouth, eh?

)
Taking a walk in the forest with the furbabies
Work work work
Yoga or flamenco class
Shopping with my best friend
any ideas?
Carolyn,
Your party and trip sounded like a LOT of fun! You lucky girl, I really wish I could have a black tie party for my 40th! Can we see pics? I'm sure you were a complete knocker!

What an incredible story about those people from Prague! Things do happen for a reason, and sometimes things just fall into place in the most unexpected way!!! How NICE of those people to offer their help and hospitality! I'm absolutely thrilled that you can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, and I can't wait to see how things evolve from now on!

:D
Lara,
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!

:D:D:D How exciting! Congratulations my dear! So cute that Ruby will get a little brother or sister real soon! I'm absolutely sure that the small age difference will be a plus; it will be easier for them to find games that they both enjoy; they'll soon be out of your hair, having fun together!

:D I hope the fatigue isn't too bad during your first trimester, but I'm sure it will be easier without all the IVF meds!

How is DH? Is he thrilled? About the antidepressants, though... I worked for a year in the obstetrics department, and I can assure you that pregnant women CAN take antidepressants. You might just have to change your presciption. Sometimes, the increased estrogen helps your mood and your symptoms go away. I hope it's the case for you sweetie. But if they don't, please,
please don't stay that way. Major depression while you're pregnant CAN do harm to your baby, it's empirically proven, and you must do something about it. Oh and by the way, you never, NEVER just stop taking antidepressants or anti-anxiety meds cold turkey. I hope your doc had the good sense to wane you off gradually. The brain can react badly to the sudden stop (go into a serotonine shock for example), and it can be very dangerous.
Jayne,
Hi there! It's great to have news!!! Figuring out the work schedule seems like quite a complicated task at times, but it looks like your relatives are there to help the best they can. Your boys seem adorable and I'm thrilled that they're growing so well!

Congrats on losing all the baby weight! I'm sure you'll get your fitness back up and figure in no time, you sexy mama!
Steph!
Oh wow, SO NICE to see you around! Your littie angel looks SO sweet! Gosh, I would cover those chubby cheeks with kisses all day long! how are you doing dear?
Shantala,
Hi sweetie! How are you doing? I'm so sorry to hear that DH is still stuck at home with his back problems... By the way, I saw your psy post and figured it was for me, thanks for the pm too! I just didn't find the time to post! I'll pm you back right after I post this.
stephjim,
congratulations on getting your two cuties back home!!!! I hope things go really smoothly now and that you can settle down in a nice routine all together!
Angie,
We don't really know each other, but I've read your posts and I wish you good luck with the adoption process. You've been through a lot and I really hope you get your dream baby real soon. I'm sorry DH got laid off. Geez, money REALLY shouldn't be an issue when you really want a baby and could offer him/her love, a good home, and much better living conditions than an orphanage!!!! I hope you can restart the process real soon. Good luck!
Miracle,
Where are you sweetie? I hope things are okay on your side, and I really, really miss you!!! Come back and play!!!
Okay, I'm sure I'm forgetting people, but I send you kisses and hugs!
As for me, things are very good. Time just seems to fly, and I'm amazed at how fast weeks pass. The weekends are super busy too! LOL at least work is really uneventful these days, and I can relax there! How crazy is that? It's just that I've continued yoga classes on Mondays with my best friend. We finished the initiation class and missed the subscription for the prenatal group because we were misinformed (bummer). So yesterday we tried the "deep relaxation" class. Booooooooooriiing! I prefer more active yoga, one that really tones my muscles, works on my balance and makes me sweat a little. So fortunately, we found a yoga 1 class at the same time on Mondays. We'll go to that one. On Wednesdays, I have flamenco again. I've been a bit lost with the choreography, having missed so many classes. But I will catch up. It's not really stressful because I know I won't be able to dance at the show in May. It's amazing to see the chicas again, I really missed them. I've been to two workshops during the last two weeks, plus I've accepted to teach two meditation classes on Saturday mornings, and more after Xmas. So life is busy, but I'm really happy with it. I've started several knitting and cross-stitch projects, which is also fun.
On the 8th, DH and I went on a date together. It had been a WHILE. We went to a nice and expansive restaurant (the food was amazing! well of course it was, it was Belgian!) and then we went to a play. A Lion in Winter. Lots of dialogue, complicated at times... and the constant drama and quarrels was a bit annoying at times. But overall, we had a great time. Hehehe and it's the last time I buy tickets right next to the stage! It was REALLY intimidating to give a standing ovation to the actors that were standing RIGHT THERE in front of me, looking me in the eye (we were at the center in addition!). On Friday, my best friend and I will go to a Lord of the Dance show. I'm sure it will be exciting! And after Xmas, we'll manage to get ballet tickets.
Ok, I think I've babbled enought for today! Take care, lovely ladies, and keep posting! The ladies on the other side of the board, on the forum I've started, don't really post, and they don't interact with each other! It's a better place here!
