Morning ladies,

How are you doing? How was your weekend? Mine was busy, as usual. We met our neighbors officially and they seem to be nice people. We also attended a funeral; the mom of one of DH's colleagues passed away. Then on Sunday, I spent most of the day either knitting or sewing curtains for the living room. I'm quite happy with the result, and it's now MUCH warmer in the room now that the thick curtains block some of the cold air. Yay! I even have some extra fabric (did 2 panels instead of 4), so I think I'll sew curtains for the dining room too.

Becky,
Hey, PUPO girl! How was your weekend? Is the pain gone? Usually, it takes a few days... I'm so glad to read that your DH understands the principles of the princess status, lol! :D I hope he kept spoiling you all weekend!

Angel,
Thinking of you and DH sweetheart, and sending you lots of warm hugs.

Carolyn,
Ah, well, I guess all good things must come to an end eventually! What kind of exercises do you do? Good luck for your work week and I hope the Xmas shopping wasn't too painful! I'm SO happy this year; my father FINALLY accepted to do things differently this year. We'll do Secret Santa, which will allow us to spend less money and less time on gifts and more time having fun together! I swear, usually, unwrapping gifts takes about two hours in my family, a real pain! Oh, and to answer your question, we want to wait until the delivery, if we can. Apparently, sometimes you can't help to see "it" on the monitor even if you don't want to. ;)

Shantala,
Hello dear, how was your weekend? How are your two babies? ;)

Rachel,
I'm really happy to hear that Ruby is getting better. Poor sweetie, it always breaks my heart to see a small child being sick; it's not like you can explain what's going on and reassure them! *hugs* Any news about that pain in your side?

Angie and Mir,
How was your weekend? What kind of week are you planning?

I'm getting a bit sick of the thread I started on the "other" side... I started one in November and it did the same thing. People post a lot during their first few weeks, we lose a bunch after they see the heartbeat, and another bunch after the first trimester.... people have been completely silent for weeks and weeks now, or they just post their next apt date so I can update the list. Ahem... I much prefer to hang out with you guys! :D

Take care,

Sophie

hey soph.....OK - so you're not across the pond......you're actually in the same neck of the woods as i am!! (well - sort of....) ya know - honestly my dh is pretty great MOST of the time....is just as of lately w/ him losing his job ---- is affecting his mental state of mind....you know - the whole "i am the man of the house - i must provide for my family - blah, blah, blah"......he's just really "old" school - oh wait, did i mention that (i think everybody else out here knows......) but that my dh is 20 yrs my senior?? i know.....but it works for us (most of the time anyway!) anyway.....hence our infertility "issues".....again - not the point... my point is just that he is of the generation where the man WAS the primary breadwinner.....in our family though ---- i make more $$ than he does....(another thing that has taking some getting used to for him)... not that i've EVER made a deal of it -- but there have been times where he's felt 'threatened' by it.....so there --- aren't ya glad you asked?? well - you didn't really ASK....but i have this amazing ability to tell w/out even being asked!! ha, ha!!

beck --- where did our newest resident mummy run off to??? how you doin hun????? feeling ok??? ******* STICKY BABY DUST TO YOU ********

mir --- short work week for you??

angel........(((((((((((BIG HUGS))))))))))) and that's all i have to say about that.....................................

to all my other bff's out there ---- hope everybody stateside has a happy thanksgiving!!! don't eat too much (yeah right!!! is my fav part of it all!!) i'll be out of touch for a bit as my mum is coming into town (lives 10 hours away) and we'll be 'rockin around the christmas tree'!!! we plan to put up all decor, make cookies/candy, have a cocktail or two..... so take care all and i'll catch ya on the flipside!!!

Hello girls!!!

Well Sophie, we did tell you that we are the best around!!! Stick with us. No other threads can compare!! So what is going on with you? When is the next appointment??

Hey Angie! Awwww your mummy is coming?? That is fab!!! So is your mom and Dh the same age???? totally kidding!! My sister and I have a cookie tradition too!!! My mom was never really the "motherly" type so my sister and I started our own traditions. She is five years older. Every year we make a whole crap load of Christmas cookies!! So much fun, I love it!!! Well it is kind of a short week. I work till Wednesday then off THurs and Friday.

Rachel!! I am sooooo happy baby is doing great. So glad it was a false alarm. Take it easy.

Angel...love I am thinking of you....

So Carolyn, how was your first day back? Sucks doesnt it?? How did your Christmas shopping go??

Steph, your twins are so cute!! LOve the new picture!!

Becky...where the heck are you???????????????????

Dh and I are so super busy this week. I cant wait for Monday. I am off and relaxing!!! We are moving into our new home this week. So tonight I am packing up, doing laundry and cooking dinner. FUN FUN!!! I am trying not to stress about anything. We will see...

Actually --- YES......and my dh is 1 month OLDER than my dad  (yeah - -then went over like flies on shi#!!!!!) Am happy to say though - that after they saw us together and really opened their minds to it all, everybody was pretty much ok with it.....i think my family accepted it better than HIS.....his oldest sis (who is in her early 60's) is head BEATCH - let me tell you!!! In the early stages of our relationship - there would be a wedding shower or something in the "extended" family and she would EXclude me -- but INclude my dh's ex wife  nice huh?? oh i really hated that woman!!! she's still not my fav --- but we atleast get along for the most part....the great thing is that all of his family live an hour'ish away and none of them care to come out to our neck of the woods (thank GOD) and so we really only have to see them at major holidays!!!! YEAH FOR ME!!!

So hey ---- HAVE FUN MOVING INTO YOUR NEW HOUSE GIRL!!! hope all goes smoothly for ya!!!

Take care.....

Again, im sorry but this a me me me posting:

I have been up since 4am .... it now 6.10am and AF pains are comming thick and fast .... i couldnt lay there in bed no longer. Not just the fact that DH's snoring an poofing was doing my head in lol .... the AF pains were just too much. I got into DD's bed at 4.30am (lucky she at Uni) and layed there till now ...... have to take paracetamol to stop the pain now ... i knew this wud happen, i cant belive im only day 7dp3dt. I suppose its just a waiting game now, for when the dreaded clots show up ... i already have a sanitry towel on cos it feels pretty soon .... why is it, thats after having a good day - a bad one always follows. I was so hoping that this time was our time ... dunno wot im gonna tell DH, and the family, they all know too ... i really thought that with such good embryos that this could be it ....

Silly moo aint i ....
