hiya right back at ya mir!!! ya know --- if i had to make an educated guess as to your sickness --- i would probably say it's EXHAUSTION my dear!!!!!!!!!! good grief -- moving into a new house is no small chore!! your body was probably just telling you to SLOW DOWN!!!

oh yes -- my dss's.......they are so much fun.....and yeah, we had the discussion on christmas being a bit lean this year on account of dad's layoff.....they have been pretty much unaffected by any of it! (a good thing)......and we went out last nite and did most of our shopping -- had some really good discount coupons for some different stores -- so we sat down, made a list and were on a mission!!! we've pretty much got them done -- maybe a thing or two to "balance out" after we take inventory of stuff.....

Hi there hun; on both threads you replied to me saying something like "remember, I was going to slimming class and lost weight" but given that I've never made any reference to your weight, I don't understand what you want to tell me by remembering this. I'm a bit lost here, maybe something got lost in the translation?? Hehe, I'll be 20 weeks on Saturday and now the weeks feel like days... but I remember how it was during the 1st trimester, the days felt like weeks! And I was counting every morning exactly like you! And I,ll say it again, just for kicks because it's beautiful, nice belly mama Becky! Love your gift ideas by the way!

I'm really sorry Ruby is so sick and you're feeling depressed. I know going to a party doesn't take away all the symptoms, but even if it's really tempting, staying at home is only going to make things worse. It's really important that you stay active and entertain yourself in all possible ways, even now. I hope you and DH had a good time and that he remembers to pamper you the way you deserve! Hey sexy lady! Always so energetic! Our little ray of sunshine! How are you doing? Looking forward to something exciting this weekend? So glad you were able to complete your shopping, must feel much better! I bought one gift for my husband (a mini lamp he can clip on his book to read in bed without waking me up). But I'd like to buy something else... I thought of buying Brain Age, but then (d'uh!) I realized I also have to buy the portable Nintendo console and geez, that's 140$! Way too expensive. I think I'll also customize a mug or a beer glass with "Daddy's the best" or something like that written on it. Plus my husband makes his own beer with friends, and he's really good at it (eh, he's a chemist!) so I thought I'd also buy something related to that. Any ideas?

My health is fine. I think Angie was right. I was just exhausted. After moving, cleaning, and decorating for Christmas I was just beat.
I cant wait for tomorrow!!! FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO!!! I am painting these ceramic Santa's and they are coming out so cute. I cant wait to finish them. I will post pic's of them finished on my myspace too!!!

Soph: The only reason i had suggested the losing weight on my part, was cos i didnt want the other ladies on the site to think i was 'just fat' lol ... that if they knew i had been really losing weight an not just saying that - that i was telling the truth lol ....

sorry ladies....have been meaning to post but have had lots going on this week....i had a meeting with work on monday about returning to work and flexible working hours, which was horrendous! we ended up more like arguing for 2 hours and i handed in my notice on tuesday evening!! so instead, i've been offered some part-time teaching with a different department so i'll be doing that for the time being. i've never tought before so am s***ting it!! lol...no, on a serious note, it's been really stressful as it's not been left amicably and now the HR department are trying to make things as hard as possible for me....

anyway, still around and will try and catch up soon and do personals...

They have treated you appaulingly - do they not realise you could take them for dicrimination - they have to be able to prove that owrking part time would have a detrimental efect on the business - I have quite an inviolvement in HR with my job so if you need any more advice or help just shout... they should not be initimidating and making life difficult for you

Hello lovely ladies! This will be about me me me, as I'm expecting my patient to arrive any minute now, but I wanted to let you all know that we had the ultrasound this morning and we are expecting a perfect, healthy, baby BOY! We had an amazing time with all the staff there, they explained everything and it made our experience absolutely lovely! It's quite incredible to see how the baby has grown, and we have lovely pictures! All the bones have developed nicely, the baby measures 21 weeks, which is normal and on schedule (there is a 10 days margin of error at this point), his brain is perfect (like I've been saying, he's got his mother's brain so it's no surprise, lol!) his heart, major veins and other organs are perfect too, there is amniotic fluid in his stomach and bladder, so everything is working the way it should!

I'm absolutely delighted to share this moment with you guys and I couldn't wait to tell you! I'm going to have a son! DH is very happy, he hopes we'll have a girl next time, as I do, we'll aim for that next time, lol! I played it safe and didn't tell him I wanted to know the gender... we were still hesitating at the beginning of the apt, but when the technician told us she knew, my DH blurted out with a big smile that he wanted to know! lol! So now we're calling family members and friends to let them know. It's a joyous day!

I'll write personals until my patient arrives...!

I,m so sorry about the BBQ... I totally understand your feeling. I too used to dread seeing pregnant friends or friend with babies... I would think about it for days or even weeks, wondering how I'd react and such. Usually, a few minutes after I got there or the guests were in my home, the uneasiness would go away. Above all, you must respect yourself and follow your instinct. If you're not up for it, then you're not, find an excuse, stay home and do something nice instead. It's perfectly human to feel that way sweetheart... *HUGS*

Sophie! No problem!! I was very excited to see you are having a boy. I think it is so neat that you had a inkling that it was a boy and you are having a boy!!! I saw you posted on my myspace! I havent had a chance to respond yet. I will tonight though! I am in love with your furbabies. They are the sweetest. Oh, i still cant find my charger...BUT i bought a new one. So, when I find my other ones... I will have 3!!! HEE HEE but you cant have to many chargers! I am sooo bad about "putting things away" and then I cant even find it. So it is kind of like hide and seek with me. I get so mad at myself...
Hopefully I will be able to post some new pics tonight. No promises though. I didnt end up going to the birthday party on Sunday. I just couldnt do it. The baby was turning one, and then all of her cousins are there, and one of them is only 6 weeks. I think it would have been really hard. So my sis and I had a nice time relaxing at my home! sorry to say i can't stay and play had a busy weekend.... my dss's had us on the go w/ THEIR social schedules!! went to youngest son's gfriends holiday dance recital (ballet/tap, etc).... always so fun!! they have the little itty-bitty kids out there and is just the cutest thing in their tiny little candy can striped tights!!!! oh and also had to take our murphy dog for a haircut.....he LOVES going to see his groomer!!
