Good morning ladies!
Wow, lots of posts! yay!!!!
Carolyn,
I'm absolutely thrilled that you had a good experience at the spanish clinic! Looks like it really clicked with them! Was it the same for DH? Wow, it really seems like that doctor has the dexterity it takes! And geez, we CAN tell the difference! Yes we can!

Their stats are quite impressive too! Quite similar to my clinic's! Ooooh I got a good feeling about all this Carolyn!!! You're going to be PUPO very soon!!!! When will you leave for Prague? I hear it's absolutely lovely during the holidays... Oh, and about names, we have a problem. My husband rejects a name if he's known a person with that name. Can you see the challenge here? It's not even about remembering bad experiences about someone he knew and so on... no! If he's known someone with that name at some point during his life, the name is out! So after submitting several lists, and about 10 names yesterday (all were rejected), I gave up. He agreed to scan the web before the birth and come up with a list himself then. He wants to do it at the last minute, but I'll try and make him do it during my 8th month. I think it's a good compromise. So far, the only name we agreed on is Jeremy. It's quite rare nowadays, and lovely in French (Jérémie), so it's a keeper! I want to have three choices at the time of the delivery; we'll make the final choice once we get to know the baby better.
Hi Rachel!
SO GLAD to hear that Ruby is feeling better!!! Way to go little cutie! Ooooh how nice that she's getting excited about Xmas! Did you get a chance to do the decorations? I bet she wants to grab everything and looks at all the bright and sparkly stuff with wide eyes! How are you feeling?
Angel,
Hello sweetie! So glad to hear that you've allowed yourself to indulge a little during the holidays!

Yay! If you're interested, I can give you a recipe TO DIE FOR! Oh my GOD I never thought a vegan chocolate cake could be so decadent! And with no eggs and only 5 tbsp of oil, it's super low calories too!

Tell me if you're interested!

That being said, *HUGS* my poor thing you sound quite at the end of your rope. Seriously, I feel for you dear. I wish your boss could just allow you to take it easy and relax. Do you take time off between Xmas and the New Year? I sure hope so, so you can have a long break between the two, regroup, pamper yourself and spend time with DH, friends and relatives maybe... do things you like and recharge the batteries. Gosh, I wish I could send you a big pack of giddiness and energy in a nicely wrapped box to give you a nice boost! You're really.. an angel to ask about the nursery in a moment like this. Yes, I've picked a theme; the forest. Green, cream with red and brown accents (red and white mushrooms, brown branches and animals).
Su,
we don't know each other but I agree with the others! Your boy is GORGEOUS!
Miracle!
Hi darling! I sure missed you! Yeah, sorry about not posting much yesterday. I decided to work from home because the sidewalks were extremely slippery, I had to attend a meeting in one part of the city and then travel back to my hospital just for one patient... not worth the risk. However, I finally sat down and worked 12 hours in a row on building a website. So yeah, I worked too much yesterday but it was worth it, tiring, but not stressful at all. That website is my pride and joy and I accumulated a whole day of overtime, which I'll take during the holidays!

And yes, of course, I've planned my Xmas menu weeks ago. We'll have several appetizers, followed with a cream of celery soup. Then we'll have a wild mushroom Wellington with cranberry sauce, green beans, Duchesse potatoes and roasted root vegetables. Then a winter salad will follow (roasted cherry tomatoes and nuts with leafy greens and a simple dressing), and then we'll have a cranberry upside-down cake. Most recipes will be taken from Martha Stewart's Holidays Special magazine (except the Wellington and appetizers). If you're looking for a super simple and extraordinarily yummy appetizer that you can make all year long, go check this out:

Just double the balsamic vinegar and you'll be in heaven. I'll never, EVER boil beets again my whole life! Roasting them's the best!
OH MY GOD I can't believe what your furdevils did!!!!! You must have been SO FURIOUS!!!! And it's really maddening, because you know you can't punish them by then. They understand what's going on, but they misbehaved too long ago and the punishment is useless... what a mess! Oh, it's maddening to find this at the end of a hard day's work!!! Did they break anything?? Looks like they had a belated reaction to the moving... I hope everything will be okay thsi evening!

My girl is the same. She KNOWS she did something stupid and bad, and the moment you pick the half-eaten thing up and look at her, her tail and ears just drop and she becomes real small... and you only have one word to say and she goes straight to the front door and stays there... for a couple minutes... and then, like a child, she'll tiptoe along the corridor and stretch her neck and take a peek to see if you're still mad... I often have to run to another room so she doesn't see me laugh, but it's absolutely irresistible, even if you're really mad. I can't resist those eyes.
Angie, how great to have news!!!! Carolyn asked me the same question for the name thing, and I answered her at the beginning of this post.

I can't wait to hear about how the interview went!!!! squeeeeee! How are YOU? busy-busy?? Oh and LOL, don't worry about the blow thing... since the beginning of the week, there were a couple of naughty posts here.. if you read between the lines.... ah, well...!

:D:D
Becky,
Like I told Angie, thanks for asking about the name thing; I answered Carolyn about that, it's at the beginning of my post. As for the clothes, yeah, you bet I'm looking forward to Boxing Day specials! It's impossible to find unisex clothes here, only pjs... so it will be great to buy a couple of shirts, shorts, pants, sweaters and so on for my little guy. As for getting used to the idea (and yeah, my husband is 6' tall, so he's not "wee" LOL!), I've known since the 13th week that I was expecting a boy. I saw him on the monitor and it just clicked into place. So it was no surprise when the technician told us the gender. Oh, you're so lucky about finishing to work on Friday!!! I'M JEALOUS! I'll work on Monday and Tuesday too... but after that, I'll be away until January 6th! yay!

looks like you'll be a super sexy mama for your posh party, you lucky girl!!! How about posting a picture here?
Okay ladies, I'm starving, gotta eat before my next patient is here! Take care lovelies!!!
