Hiya John :D

You found me lol  Glad to hear ur on another 2ww and so pleased that u and DW had another shot at this ... its a hard process to go thru as we all know ...

Asprin and panadol are deff out of the question - your DW is only allowed paracatamol - any pg woman can take paracatomol, so as she is PUPO (Pregnany untill proven otherwise) then paracatamol is the only one. I do hope she recovers from the headaches soon - wont be too long untill the 8th (easy for me to say i know lol)

As for the TLC - keep giving it and keep supporting her (i know u will) Please keep in touch and keep me updated - love to you and DW - keep smiling :D

Becky Xxxx

Ladies - will be back later for more personals, right now im having lunch (toasted twister meal KFC - mmmm mmmmm mmmmm - finger licking good lol) xxxxxxxxxx

hi everyone

oohh, where do i start, what an up and down day ive had!

right, went for my follie scan at 8 this morning....they counted three that were between 17 and 19mm and about 11 that were between 11 and 15mm. Now, last time I had 5 that were between 16 and 18mm this time last time and we think its those that gave us the mature eggs. so....going by that, we only have approx 3 mature eggs this time. very disappointing especially as i have so many smaller ones, that probably wont be mature. (I had 10 immature eggs last time with follies around that size) The nurse suggested they would probably get me to trigger tomorrow night and have EC on monday like last time. i told her i wasnt happy with this for the above reasons and she said they may leave me till tuesday. ok, an extra day but still not sure. she said a lot also depends on my E2 levels (bloods), they would get those back, then they have a team meeting lunch time to discuss what to do with me, and they would call me this afternoon.

so....i left the clinic this morning quite disappointed and praying they would leave me as long as possible. oh, she also said they may reduce my dose at this stage....so anyway, i then got the call and they said they want me to carry on with the same dose and they want to scan me again on sunday morning! woohoo!!! gut instinct tells me thats the right thing to do. that gives me 2 more jabs before then and we would have a better idea then. so i'm much happier again now. coz if they leave me a bit longer, the others may catch up.

i asked the nurse what happens if the 3 big ones (17, 18 and 19 today) get too big and she said thats where we have to try and find the balance. if we lose the 3 big ones coz they are too big but gain 6 more instead then thats great. hhmmmm, hoping that wont happen but think what they are doing is right. it feels right.

QUESTION: does anybody know how big a follicle can get without damaging the egg??

anyway, thats it for me....will do more personals over the weekend.

thanks everyone for thinking of me today!! :D

carolyn - how did your follow up go??

Shantala ....

Thats great news hun :D Im glad u told them u wernt happy, and they have listened to ur concerns. So pleased that ur doing so well :D Try and remember, its the quality of the egg - not quantity - wot am i saying, u already know that - hence ur reasons for putting ur foot down

Glad to hear ur a valued contributer (that just means u talk a lot hahaha!)

Dunno about how big a follie can get before damaging the egg - but i think they allow em to go up to 20-22 :?: :?: im prob wrong, aw just dont listen to me - im not a valued contributer so i dont count hahaha!

Carolyn: How u doing hun? How did it go .... Hope things are ok, thinking of u, let us know as soon as ur ready :) hugz xxxx

Right, im making tea so have to dash - Big Bro tonight - i want Tracey to stay put and David to GO GO GO - i dont like him, and Cara Louise is a wimp who cries all the time lol - lucky she didnt get to meet our Charley - she would have had a nervous break down lol

Hey ladies,

Sorry I have been gone for so long. I will have to go back and read up on everyone. I noticed a few new names. Got a call from my Dr. today. I will be starting Delestrogen shots in mid to late Sept and the EC will be Oct 19 or 20 with the ET on Oct 24 or 25. Donor is ready but has to wait a month before starting another cycle. We had hoped for a shared cycle, but since the donor only had 12 eggs for her first cycle, they will not share the cycle. Her cycle that she just finished had a positive pregnancy and the office did tell us that it was a case of SEVERE male factor. So that positive news made my day, week, etc.

I'll have to catch up and see who else might be cycling in Sept/Oct.

 Hi gang

Well after a stressful day of studying we had a bit of an emergency at teatime as Big B emailed me and said i should take 2 pills instead of 1 until the 7th but they have not supplied me with enough. It was 5.30pm and so i had to call Big B direct and get some advice but the Dr who emailed me, Dr Rotondo were away home. The translater didnt have a clue what to do but then decided to fax me a prescription. I then checked with our Dr and chemists if this was allowed---no. So i called the clinic back and the same guy didnt know what to do so i made the decision for him and said i would only take 1 pill tomorrow then he will get the Dr to call me first thing. Oh the stress, i just dont need it
This is all down to the fact that i had a minute amount of -------------beware to much info coming up----------------brown discharge but its was only here for a couple of loo visits and now gone. I told the guy at the clinic it is just like the start of my af so i'm sure when i tell the Dr tomorrow she will tell me just to go back to the original plan of 1 tablet until Aug 6th-------phew what a hassle

Shantala - now now now, girls on this thread dont look at the negative side and if things turn out negative, then we deal with them  You keep your chin up, your follies are growing great. Your ticker is great, i cant do them

Kim - Welcome back, great news about you future cycle. Where are you going for your treatment?

Becky - Just watched BB, i liked David to begin with but him and Major Ug pole dancer deserve to be thrown out---he was gutted eh. Bring back Charley for a fight i say

Rachel - Well done with the diet, i also lost a few pounds this week but dh is planning to go into town for a Starbucks tomorrow, i just know i will have to have a cupcake :x Lunch with J went fine, i was first to hear his news, which was lovely, he just wanted me to know, sees me as his Mum. That makes me so happy but we are always honest with each other and i told him i'm a bit sad as he is so young. He completely understands how i feel but ---well---he is the apple of my eye and knows i will be there for him through thick and thin. Enjoy your annivesary on Sunday, be good

Vicki - Thanks for wishing us all good luck. I thought about IVI but decided on IM, good luck.

John - Good luck with your 2ww, let us know about your BFP when it comes on the 8th

Gill, Carolyn, JenB - My wee Big B muckers, how you all doing? I cant belive how close we are all getting to our ET's, just seems like a few weeks ago when we were all thinking about going to Big B and now everything is in motion for our BFP's

Ok, am off to watch BB again then off to bed. Have changed the bed and have lovely new sheets---dont you just love that

Have a good weekend girls

Anyone have pee stick adivice??

Post by pequele »

First off...Shantala I love the egg and follie ticker!!! and congrats on being a valued member...do you have any words of wisdome fer me!

I've been practicing my peeing on the ovulation sticks (hoping to do first IUI in August) since I just came off b/c. I started peeing on sticks on CD 7...sometimes more than once a day because of my schedule. Then I started tracking my temps CD 12 (only found out about that really recently but had no reason to believe I missed ovulating prior to CD 12 anyways). Also been watching CM but I swear that just confuses me more!!! I thought I was heading the right direction with the CM to the more fertile kind, then just as it was, it went backwards, NOW it seems to be going forwards again!! Then the last 2 mornings my BBT went up by about 0.4F (in the states!) but it has also been much warmer the last few days so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. And in those last few days (where if my temp indicates I already ovulated) it seems my CM is NOW at the most fertile type of CM...wouldn't that have happened BEFORE my temp rise??? I thought it was supposed to be the most fertile CM BEFORE ovulation....grrrrrr. I am sick of peeing on the sticks and wasting money!! Stupid body!!!
