Carolyn, I am so so so so so very sorry. Had my class praying 4 u today. Be good to yourself hun. Treat & pamper yourself for awhile. Chocolate & lots of wine seems to help me. Pedi & mani too.
hey, 2 frosties though.... let's look on a bright side (when you're ready) I feel awful- been waiting for good news all day. I'm so sad 4 u. Sending you kisses & hugs from across the pond!!

Just got the news... Gosh, I was SO hoping that this would be your time! I feel so sad and disappointed for you and DH, especially that he has to be away at a time like this. I hope you do have some support, either from him from afar, or from people who take good care of you, friends and relatives. I'm thinking of you and sending you warm hugs,

thanks girlies .. had an action packed weekend to keep me occupied and whilst Tony been working ahrd earning loadsa money I been doing my best to spend it!!!

I am feeling surprisingly strong .. I think I knew anyway before beta and had already prepared myself.. just got to tell you the events of my saturday morning .. some one up there is really trying to test me and my patience ...

1. went to do a site visit as manager wanted to talk to me - told me the supervisor was preganat and she wanted time off to go for an abortion .. the manager is really ant abortion adn was just going on and on ..
2. she then told me she had just become a grandma and wanted to show me the picturs
3. a heavily pregnant customer then passed out in the cafe
4. my car broke down outside the maternity wing of the general hospital
5. my friend from college called to say she was preganant

I took it all in my stride.. remained calm and did not shed a single tear .. think my tear ducts are already empty !!

my parents wanted to come down but put them off as just wanted to potter and worry about myself and no one else .. have really ben ok but think its cos I know I have to!! Tony doing ok but worried about me .. only 16 more sleeps till he is home

On a course tomorrow and Tuesday with compulsory overnight stay so will not be around till wednesday.

I'm glad to know that things are "ok" for you... sorry you had to go through that kind of weekend... what "coincidences"... I didn't realize that DH would be gone for 3 whole weeks... but at least I see that you're keeping yourself busy and take care of yourself as much as you can. Hang in there sweetie... it gets a little better with each passing day...

Okay ladies, I just wanted to let you know that I'm about to leave for the hospital. Labor started around 10pm and has been progressing slowly but steadily until now. The hospital nurses are finally letting me come; right now the pain is bearable. It really doesn't look like false labor, so I hope I'll be well on the way when they check me at the hospital.

I'll ask DH to post in my name when he comes back here (hopefully after we've met our son), I'll leave a reply window open, but i don't know when he'll be able to do it.

Angel, I will remember that when I am on Dragons Den, the thought of you shouting at the telly might just keep the nerves at bay!!!

Well we have moved forward with our idea we have found we need to copyright our material and that is easy to do, we have sent off for patenting packs and I have a very creative friend who is going to have a look at customising our training materials so its quite exciting!!

So once we have sorted out that we will have to start researching costs, funding etc, also in the meantime have picked up potentially a large nursing job, waiting to hear if they want me to start, which could be months away or a few weeks never know with these things!!, and they have a new fostering placement for us which I have to go and find out about for when we are back again properly in June.

Have 2 little cherubs this week as a respite for someone else, we went to a farm on Saturday and they enjoyed themselves feeding the lambs!! So very busy again, which will make the time fly by so our adoption information meeting in July will be here before we know it then we can start on the process properly.

Traci how did the card games go, were you up to the wee hours!!! What games do you play??

Hello to everyone, been quite quiet on here lately so everyone must be busy, hope you are all ok.

You sound as you are in a good place. I dont know how you do it, especially with DH gone right now. But good for you. I am glad you are pampering yourself too. And like someone else said, you have frosties lovey...one of those is your baby!!! BIG HUGS

Lee: We play rummy, cribbage, 31, and I know this isnt spelled correct but we play Pee-knucke too!!! We have such a good time. We went to the beach on Saturday too. I am working on my tan!

Carolyn so glad you keeping yourself busy but remember to take some time out - sometimes these emotions creep up on you when you least expect it!! Think you did well on Saturday considering what you've just been through - shows what a strong brave girl you are - I'm not I would have been able to hold it together.

Sophie - OMG OMG OMG - the time is here, thinking of you and hope that it all goes well and you get finally get to meet your little boy. Good luck.

Mir - Eva is great - not yet crawling but nearly there - can hold herself on all 4's with bum in the air but hasn't learnt the art of moving hands and feet in co-ordination.
